Great space for the money! Full kitchen and living room were so nice to have. Place was spotless and very well maintained. Would stay here again!

I had a great stay and would book again. The kitchen is lovely just know there’s not a kitchen table in the unit. The patio table is great for sunny Portland days. I loved walking around this neighborhood—every home is like a botanical garden!

Kate’s place is in a great location. It was very walkable to restaurants and shopping as well as Grant Park. The accommodations were well appointed and comfortable. Kate was very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend this spot in North East Portland and will return when we get the opportunity.

Isaiah had a very good quality space with all the things you need like a washer & dryer and cooking equipment. He made it very stress free for any messes or accidents. The area was pretty close and convenient for everything you need walkable and everything else 5-15 min drive.

Martin & Grace were kind and communicative throughout our stay. My friend and I particularly enjoyed the area as there were multiple bus stops within 3 blocks of walking, as well as restaurants, food trucks, and parks. The full kitchen available was quite nice with extremely acceptable pans and pots. The provided earl gray tea was remarkably good as well :). We found the wifi password pasted above the bed to be quite funny when we began wondering how to access it. Finally, the check in and out directions were easy and reasonable. Thank you again for the great stay!

The perfect spot for a couple or single person looking for a reasonably-priced spot in Portland. Great location, very clean, and Todd is a very responsive host. We had a lot of fun checking out the Belmont and Hawthorne areas. We also felt very safe and there was always plenty of street parking. Definitely recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying at Paula’s place for a few days in May. Whenever I am traveling in the Portland area, I always check availability here first. Magnificent property, tranquil vibe, a true gem amongst the treetops. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Absolutely fabulous stay and will definitely book again next time we are in the Portland area. Sherold and John were very hospitable and thoughtful enough to give my partner yummy hazelnut cookies from a wonderful local bakery for her birthday. They even gave us a small refund for an overnight disturbance beyond their control-- the refund was not necessary but appreciated. The mini apartment itself was as described-- clean, well furnished and decorated. Looking forward to our next stay.

Kyl is a wonderful host. Very thoughtful, organized, responsive, and made us feel well taken care of. We would highly recommend Kyl and The Eloise to anyone visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tracie’s guesthouse. The neighborhood was quieter than we expected it to be and it was nice to hear all the birds singing. The upstairs living area was open, light, and very comfortable. We slept great as well. This property had everything we needed, and a dedicated parking space was nice to have.

Robert was very friendly when we met him. The room was exactly as it appeared in the photos. The room was perfect! We were able to have a couple of our kids and grand kids over to hang out for a while and there was plenty of room. The fridge was unexpectedly nicely stocked with various goodies and necessities. We will stay there again!

Great place that is walking distance to many parks, bars and restaurants. The noon check out made our stay so nice as our flight didn’t leave till 2pm.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great with some fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Central Portland is also just a short drive away. The space was exactly as described. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom stocked with shampoos etc, and a big washer/drier which was perfect for us coming off the back of a week long camping trip!

My husband and I took our first visit to the west coast and wanted to find a place that felt like home, private and cozy. When I found this listing, it matched exactly what we were hoping for. Aletheia is super responsive, respectful and honest. Everything matched what was written and there were even helpful notes throughout the week to help us navigate the home and get around. I love how walkable it is to the bus stop to be able to travel downtown and even walkable to local coffee spots. Super happy with our week stay!

Great location for those looking to visit Portland! right by a lot of great places to eat and go hang out at. it's private and was easy to get into. Me and my gf went to Portland for some hiking trips and Lindsey's place was in a great location and was super clean! We loved the space and would recommend to anyone. Its located in a quiet neighborhood, which was great when you open the windows to let in the cool air.

This is our second time at Oculus house and our 2nd stay was even better. Everything was spotless, plenty of room to spread out even without using the upstairs loft. TVs in each room, comfy chairs, and a comfortable bed. But it is Emiky and Jeff’s hospitality that makes this the spectacular stay that it is. They were both proactive with our questions, helpful with needs that came up during our stay, and made us feel welcome as if we were coming back home. The house book is full of good and clear instructions, which are easy to follow for the jetted tub, the heat and air conditioning and other facets of the home. There were even a few tidbits and snacks for us to tide us over till we got to the store. While you have peace and quiet, you’re also close to restaurants, shops, downtown and the airport. We investigated many nearby neighborhoods easily and quickly as well as the Gorge and a wildlife refuge. Be sure to try any of the local restaurants! And Great North for coffee!

We had a nice stay and the beds were so comfortable. Everything was great. Recommended.

Spent a couple days here and it was a perfect location. Quiet at night, although be aware there is a train nearby. I was up early so it did not interfere with my stay. The place is close to everything you need. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. The place was very comfortable and would stay here again.

Phenomenal place to stay!! Easy access to downtown Portland and the highways, several good restaurants/bars within walking distance too. Willamette park being right across the street was great too, wish we could’ve stayed here longer! Will definitely be staying here the next time we’re in Portland, highly recommend to anyone.

Great place, very clean, lots of amenities. A little hard to find and chack in, but the photo directions from the host really help. There is a grocery store about a 1 min walk from the apartment which was really handy. Close to the water and centrally located. Overall, very nice.

Great value and it was above my expectations when I walked into the house. I had a great use of the kitchen and the AC was definitely a huge bonus during the summer heat. Rich was very good in communications and I felt like I was well taken care of

I live nearby and needed a place to stay during a minor remodel - picked this one because it was so close to groceries and restaurants. Very convenient, clean, comfortable, well-stocked kitchen. No problem finding parking on the street. No AC, but stayed cool and pleasant even when the weather got hot. My only complaint was flies (outside) from the chickens next door - Bee got fly traps right away when I mentioned it, but there’s only so much she can do.

This was the perfect respite after a long week of moving cross country. The beds were comfy and the kitchen encouraged baking, which my spouse did. It is right on a busy street but not too noisy. We could just step right outside and find great restaurants, books stores, and even a plus sized thrift store. We loved staying in your beautifully decorated old home. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family when they visit us.
