Holiday rentals with beach access in Portishead

Lovely spacious annex with fantastic view of the Severn estuary. David was very friendly and took measures to make sure we had everything we needed. Property was well appointed, clean and perfect for our needs. Would be happy to return.

We had a really lovely stay in this great place. Really enjoyed the balcony and the wonderful views. and all the extra bits left for us in the kitchen. Only downside was that the shower is over a bath, which was difficult for my husband to get into with bad knees.

Great location! Apartment was as described and we were so appreciative that it was on the ground floor ( as we had quite a bit of luggage). Check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow, which made check in seamless. Location was perfect, a short walk from Mermaid Quay where there are heaps of restaurants. Would highly recommend this place!

The apartment was rented on behalf of visiting family members and ideally situated with close proximity to where we live in Minehead. The host has obviously put in a lot of time and effort to create a welcoming environment with a variety of nice touches, from pleasant room fragrances to decorations featuring areas of Minehead. Although it was primarily used as a base for sleeping and getting ready for daily excursions, we found the kitchen to be well equipped and spacious. Parking was a breeze, and the supply of a parking pass much appreciated. Despite the stairs to the second floor, we found it manageable and scenic views well worth the effort.

This is a lovely, spacious and spotless place to stay. Lyn thoughtfully leaves fresh milk, bread and Welsh cakes in the very well equipped kitchen. There is a very nice, quiet walled garden to enjoy sitting out in. A permanent tenant lives upstairs in the apartment upstairs. I intend to stay in Llantwit regularly, year round, and this is a comfortable place to come back to if the weather isn’t great, and the heating is very efficient yet unobtrusive. Will return.

There was a lot of local information in a clear and concise format, instructions were clear and the place itself was well provisioned, it's a short walk to the local town and beach and is in a nice, pleasant residential area.

The Pigeon Loft is a great place to stay. This is our third visit now and wouldnt go anywhere else. Charlotte and her husband are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

A lovely warm and welcoming place to stay. The apartment itself was gorgeous. And the location was perfect for us, just minutes from the pier and on the same road as a lovely book shop, bakery and several great restaurants. And Trudi was always really helpful with any messages. We definitely want to come again.

This was our third stay here and as usual it did not disappoint. The accommodation is comfortable, cosy, and clean. Joy and Doug are lovely hosts, friendly, responsive, and full of recommendations for what to do in the area.

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay the might before my wedding. Both lodges were beautiful and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Location is beautiful and Ginetta is a WONDERFUL host. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a perfect stay. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed xxxx

Lovely property well kept, made for a great base to explore the local area on foot and bike. Enjoyed paddle boarding on the lake.

Beautiful place with a great view over the lake. It also looks bigger than the pictures and comfortably hosted 6 people and 2 medium sized dogs! The weather was great and we had a good sized outdoor area to eat and relax, but as it got cool in the evening we moved back indoors where three was more than enough space to play games around the table. The bedding was also very comfy which made for a really cosy nights sleep! We would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay in Sandra's house. It's a lovely house, recently refurbished throughout, with attractive decor, well-equipped kitchen and lovely modern bathrooms. The beds and pillows were all very clean and comfortable (absolutely no lumpy bits, which we've often encountered in other houses we've stayed in!) and there is a nice outdoor seating area. The only downside we found was the rather small living room/seating area, which wasn't quite large enough for us all (3 adults and 2 children) to sit in comfortably at the same time.

Lovely town house, road parking not an issue and just two stops on the train to Cardiff Central. Penarth itself is a lovely quiet place, recommend going for a wander.

Perfect space for a few days. Spotlessly clean and everything I needed was there. Karen was quick at communicating and really accommodating by allowing us entry into the house a little bit early after our schedule changed. Would stay again!

This was the perfect place for our family to come back to each evening to relax. It was clean, cozy, and Lucy had all the accommodations we could’ve asked for. She was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay, and even had a helpful guide in the home. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

The apartment was in a beautiful location with stunning views of the bay from both the bedroom and down on the decking / hot tub. The apartment was spotless and could tell no expense was spared when creating this space. It had everything you could need in the kitchen, as well as lots of little extras which make all the difference. We were lucky to have beautiful weather so felt like we were on holiday for the 2 days we were there when on the loungers on the private decking. Wouldn’t change anything and would definitely stay at Bay View again! Thank you Lisa for a wonderful, relaxing stay!

Informal and friendly hosts, helpful but not over-attentive during our stay. Lovely living space, full of character with great views. Would stay again if we’re in that part of the world

We had a lovely few days in the Smugglers Annex. The garden was a real treat and fully enclosed so perfect for our dog. The annexe has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only downside for us was that dogs are not allowed on the main beach, which is not under the owner's control of course!

We had a fab stay. The apartment was perfect for two adults and two teenagers. The kitchen was small but had what we needed and the spacious lounge was great for relaxing. Beds were super comfy and the two bathrooms were clean and perfectly equipped. Would definitely stay again next year.
