Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Port O'Connor

This place is really great for a peaceful relaxing fishing vacation. The house is very nice, clean and furnished well. Large backyard with a nice long pier. The lights on the pier worked well and allowed for some nice nighttime fishing. Only about 15 minutes into town which has a Walmart and so.e nice restaurants. I would highly recommend this place.

We were so grateful to have found Brenda’s place! Very family friendly, stocked with beach toys and beach towels for use. We loved the backyard area, and hope next time to get into the hot tub. Definitely want to go back next year!

We loved it , it was exactly as described and pictured in the listing . The beds were sooo comfortable!! It was a perfect spot for an unwind ! Emily was very responsive and kind during our stay , we enjoyed staying there .

The house was cozy and was bigger than expected. Plenty of room for a boat. We will definitely book here in the future.

This was a lovely like-new waterside house with water views back and front. We loved sitting on the porches and were entertained by egrets and herons. The backwaters were especially beautiful and calming.

Our team has stayed here multiple times! Always a great place. Lots of beds & lots of space. They love all the options for things to do at the house. Pool table, shuffleboard, darts and cornhole!

This house is my family’s favorite place to stay in POC. We enjoy having the gated entry, large garage, plenty of parking for cars and our boat. Covered parking for the boat is a plus. We also enjoy sitting on the porch in the evenings and the kids enjoy playing outside on the driveway and front yard. The kitchen is well stocked and 2nd refrigerator in garage is great to keep drinks and extra bags of ice cold. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and also well stocked. We also enjoy having the washer and dryer. Just a short drive to boat ramp, bait shops, restaurants and several new shops in town. This trip we enjoyed eating and drinks at Cathy’s, Sharkies, Hurricane Junction and great food at Bubbas in Seadrift. Luke is a great host and was very quick to reply when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again!

Marianne and her husband were fantastic hosts! We really enjoyed our stay, we had a relaxing weekend. The area is very peaceful and calm. My kids and I really liked the area to fish and hang out at the beach.

Great as always, only thing I would change is a bigger bed but definitely still worth the price, and the location is on point. Thank you Nora 🙂

We enjoyed a relaxing time at Michelle's. It was a perfect spot for us from which to make excursions to local birding hotspots such as Aransas and Goose Island, where we saw whooping cranes and way over 50 other species of bird, so we had a great time, as we are avid birdwatchers.

Perfect spot for a fishing trip on San Antonio Bay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Super quiet and friendly neighborhood. Easy stay, which was what I needed.

We had an Amazing time, I will say because we are so close to the beach the mosquitos can be quite bad so bring a repellent and your like new again! Pictures do not do justice to the room. bigger than expected and very nice. I would definitely come back. Nora was a great host and also the co host was next door and super helpful! very quiet and peaceful ☺️

Very spacious and extremely clean. Excellent location with bay view and very short walk to the seawall. Kids loved the shower! Definitely rent again.

Stayed here a few times before. This place is always clean, everything works as it should(wifi, TVs in every room, appliances), great location, awesome communication from the owner, and the check in/out is super easy(don’t have to spend an hour cleaning with a 10 page todo list before you leave like other places). Wont be disappointed. Will stay here again!!!

One of if not the nicest places we have stayed at, everything was Very Clean and in great condition.

I absolutely enjoyed my trip! It was exactly what I needed. Peace and quiet. Walking down the coastline was safe, hardly any traffic. When I stayed 2 storms went through. She made sure to check and make sure I was ok. There was 1 small mishap and she took care of it immediately. I absolutely recommend staying here! It would make a great couples getaway or like myself, a solo trip. If I had to pick something complain about anything it would be the water pressure in the shower, but I've never had great water pressure at the beach. The Casita is also tall people (I'm 6'5") and plus size friendly. I had a few inches between my head and the shower head. It was amazing! All the furniture was sturdy too. As a plus size woman, I never felt like anything was going to crumble under me. Remember to bring good water shoes as the beach is nothing but crushed shells. Also, there are no restaurants close by so bring your own food to cook. Happy beaching!!

We have an annual fishing trip that we take to target Tarpon and are always looking for a place to stay with a boat slip. Brandon's place fits the bill. We will be back.
