We loved this place, quiet, bohemian and unusual. Very well equipped and a feeling of family home. The happiness of the stove! The beach next door is very good. Anyway, great stay, just a little too short. If we come back to Guadeloupe, we hope it will be available for our dates.

We loved being at Florence and Pierre's. Florence is incredibly kind and generous. We were welcomed like royalty. Florence had prepared us fry-ups, fish blood sausage and coconut flan. Amazing! Her kindness continued throughout the week. We were also treated to a tour of the beautiful 3500 m2 garden with explanations. Pierre was also present among others for the picking and tasting of coconuts. The apartment is spacious, the car sheltered from the heat in an open garage, the view is clear, the night sky is magnificent (you can even see the legendary Southern Cross at night) and the beautiful Souffleur beach is a few minutes away. A great discovery. Recommended. We will be back.

Thank you for welcoming us to your lovely annex and for helping us as much as you could with our phone problem. The accommodation is great for a stay in North Grande Terre, equidistant from most beaches and points of interest, even if these remain few in this area. I recommend it for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

We really appreciated the stay at Ylann's place. He was accommodating on our requests because we were with a three-year-old. Provision of an umbrella bed and a booster seat. The place was very clean, when we arrived he left us in the cool water and juice… after a long trip it was very much appreciated. Always very responsive when we had a request or something. We were also close to the beach and amenities on foot. The apartment has all the amenities and very nice surprise because I found the accommodation better in real life than what was represented in the photos. We felt at home! Valerie's place is the PERFECT location to really get a feel for Guadeloupe. We could go to the beach or to town/store in 7 minutes walking, or 3 minutes with the bikes she leaves there for guests, or like 1 minute driving. You have total quiet, rural feel, yet are so close to an absolutely beautiful beach, restaurants, food trucks, mini-super-market, etc. It was the perfect contrast after being on a loud cruise ship for a week, to hear nothing but birds and frogs and a car passing by maybe once every 10-15 mins in the day time. The area is just the right mix of locals and tourists (like 50-50 i think) that you don't feel odd for being there. Valerie is also a great host, kind and patient with us not speaking French barely at all, texting us tons of recommendations of things to do, good restaurants, etc.
