Beachfront holiday rentals in Port-des-Barques

Christina was a very welcoming host. She presented us very well the different activities available nearby and in La Rochelle. The place was very nice and functional. The only downside is the number of parking spaces, which is not sufficient for the entire residence, but there are plenty of parking spaces around.

We booked a night at Colette, everything was as described. We would have liked to stay one more night, unfortunately our time did not allow it. Her husband speaks English very well. We got some tips for the area.

We were lucky enough to have great weather. Alizée's welcome, very friendly and pleasant. Only problem, maybe complete the address in the listing mentioning the ODALYS residence and the property number. Otherwise we had a great stay on this island where the locals are all charming and quick to tell us the right places.

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Very nice well-appointed studio with in particular the bathroom and toilet space arranged in a way that has privacy (quite rare in housing👍) the outdoor spaces are simply beautiful and I would say that I place the welcome among the best I have received... human, helpful, discreet and responsive at the same time... well done to both of you 🌞

What a great stay. Beautiful clean home with plenty of amenities. Everything at walking distance. Enjoyed with our children and grandchildren. A lovely swimming pool and the playground and beach across the street. Restaurants nearby. In short, a lovely place. Frédéric is a very friendly host and responds quickly to questions.

The villa is tastefully furnished, equipped and decorated. The layout of the rooms and their layout are ideal for our family of five with three teenagers, so that everyone has their own space. The environment is peaceful and conducive to walks, especially with the beach a stone's throw away, and nice restaurants also nearby. In short, we'll be happy to come back, in summer to enjoy more of the exteriors that are perfect too!

We have been using Airbnb for a long time but this is amongst the best places we have stayed. The location is brilliant with a private beach..,,come on! Aurelie was brilliant with great advice on local sights and restaurants Would recommend Les Viviers exceptional food. We cannot wait to come back cannot recommend highly enough. We had a great stay at Gérard and Véronique's, who are very friendly hosts and always smiling and dynamic. The hosting was very warm . The cottage is very clean and very functional . Everything is well thought out. Quality linen. Very comfortable bedding. The terrace near the kitchen is also very nice, well-equipped for outdoor meals and relaxing on sunny days. The calm of this place filled us. We sincerely thank Gérard and Véronique for their kind little touches: walnut wine and homemade jam, as well as some cakes from the region. Thank you also for the little demonstration of "tap dancing". We highly recommend this rental, which is very well located in a very beautiful region. We'll be happy to go back.

I had a great stay at Madeleine's. The view of Royan and the sea is just incredible... a beautiful sunset Lying on the bed, you feel like you're sleeping in a boat. The accommodation is super well located for visiting the region, for walking to the city 40 minutes to the big market otherwise less than 10 minutes walk from the rental there is also the small market which is very good, with the bakery and the pharmacy. A rental not to be missed...sincerely.
