Really fantastic little place in a stunning part of Scotland. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful despite our fleeting visit.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Badgers Rest. The home was beautifully clean, had everything we needed and in a great location. The facilities were amazing nearby too.

Susan’s place was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. The place is in an ideal location, two minutes walk to the seafront, cafes and shops. Everything you could need for relaxing stay. Also the local Co-Op across the road. The place is spacious and spotless. The lovely outdoor seating area was great, as we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather. All instructions clear and easy to access the house. Although we didn’t get to meet Susan as she was away, I spoke to her husband and he recommended a lovely Bistro called Stellas , which we booked for the Wednesday evening and both myself and partner loved it, the food was amazing and the host Graeme looked after us. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Two words to describe Bonshaw Grange - "Flawless" and "Perfection." This is no ordinary stay, this is a unique experience that transports you to a magical place. Everything was perfect from start to finish. John was incredible from start to finish, with all the comms, responsive to messages, accomodated all requests. Went above and Beyond, and really contributed to making a 40th Birthday weekend celebration so very special. Everyone was blown away by the house, the gardens, the decor, the facilities - all truly luxe with no expense spared. The love, care and attention to every single detail is evident. I really congratulate John and Dan for creating such an amazing and beautiful space. I want to gatekeep this beautiful place but have already told so many friends & family. The children did not want to leave and already discussing our return and when we can book again and for longer! Truly Outstanding! Thank you so much for Everything!

Loved our stay, beautiful grounds and gardens. The house was perfect for our family getaway and very comfortable all round.

Leonys house is exactly ideal for our needs. Walkable to the town. Also not far in the car to wonderful countryside .The bath is a true pleasure. The place very tastefully decorated and clean. Wish we could of stayed longer.

Stayed here for a night before our wedding in Gretna Hall with our family. Omg it’s the best self catering we have ever stayed in. Wood fire hot tub , beautiful garden, absolutely pristine and Dougie could not be more helpful. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Definitely hoping to return for a longer trip. Nice clean cottage in a peaceful location. Host was very responsive to pre-check in requests. Great couple days had in Grasmere.

We have just returned home from 4 nights at Julie's ex-guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. We were a group of 5 adults, a 9 year old and 18 month old and there was space for all of us. Each room has its own ensuite and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was very clean and the utility room is also massive which helps if you need to do any washing while staying there. We will definitely look to use Julie's place again in the future. Julie replied in good time to any messages and is very friendly. Highly recommend as a great place to get around the Lakes from too.

The pictures don't do Adrian's home justice! It's much bigger than we thought it would be and it feels so homely. Adrian was really friendly and helpful and made us feel extremely welcome! It really did feel like a home away from home, which is exactly what we were looking for!

Myself, Mum, Nan and daughter all loved our stay. It’s beautifully decorated/furnished. It is a great size and layout. We would stay again if we were in the area. This was just a quick stop over for us on our way to Scotland so didn’t get to see what was in the area.
