A beautiful place, peaceful and with stunning views. The host Jun pays attention to the details when it comes to the amenities which makes all the difference. It was a perfect, restful stay, would highly recommend.

This house is a dream coming true! They are the best hosts too. The only bad thing about that house is that I had to leave (lol). I would stay there many many times more. Lots of restaurants and groceries stores close. My family and I loved staying in there.

This was the perfect place for our family of 5. The kids had a wonderful time in the pool (age between 9-14) that we got heated up. The pool is shallow at one end and deep in the other. Walk over the road and you have the beach. It is full of rocks so not for swimming, but we spend so much time playing there. It is in a central place in the Island without to many tourists. There are restaurants in walking distance and supermarket 10 min in car away. We felt so welcome by arrival with bananas and cake. Everything was so clean. It was the perfect place place for our holiday, and we will come back.

Villa was lovely as was the pool. Location was further out than expected so definitely need a car would recommend automatic & satnav. The showers were fantastic, the crockery was rather chipped and could do with replacing. Local shop & bar very convenient and pizza restaurant was fab. Overall had a lovely stay and would recommend.

We had a fantastic time on the island. In addition to the nature that makes Madeira so fascinating, we were also able to spend some very relaxing days in our accommodation. Everything was just like in the pictures, so we could start our vacation with a great feeling. The accommodation was modern, clean and very luxurious with a pool and the number of rooms, each with its own bathroom. And who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of the sea? Wonderful. Henrique was also easy to contact if we had any questions and check-in with the key box was very simple. There is a small supermarket in this small town if you need anything. Otherwise, Calheta is not far away with larger shopping facilities. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, although the accommodation with its large kitchen and outdoor grill is of course also perfect for a meal. Thank you for a wonderful time in Madeira, we'd love to come back!

Beautiful home in a very serene setting. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We had alot of rain while we were there but loved spending time on the rooftop deck area and enjoyed the heated pool. The only downfall is there is not alot to do within walking distance. You definitely need a car. The main highway is very close which makes it convenient to explore the island. Definitely reccomend to eat at the family barbecue restaurant up the road (Restaurante Perreira) So delicious, beautiful setting and nice people!

Sonia was extremely friendly at check in and recommended many things in the area for us. The villa had everything we needed and was perfect for 2 adults and a 1 year old. Would definitely recommend Sonia’s place for a relaxing break in Madeira, thanks again!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Kents apartment with a group of friends. Apartment was spacious with great views over Funchal. The apartment is around 10 minutes taxi drive or bus journey (takes a little longer) from the centre of Funchal or up to the tropical gardens at Monte. There is a little shop for essentials around 10 minutes walk away, just a step hill walk back up. Kent was an excellent communicator from first booking. Would definitely recommend.

The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

We stayed at Patricia’s villa for 9 days and had a great time. The view overlooking the ocean with the infinity pool was beautiful! We loved waking up to this gorgeous view each morning. It was also a plus that we had the use of house cleaners that came during our stay to make the place extra tidy after we stayed halfway through! All the balcony’s outside connected and lead directly to the downstairs pool. There’s also a “secret” access to the bottom of the cliff which was very cool! Everything was perfect! All in, I’d give this a 5 star stay, everyone was extremely happy and we would definitely stay again in the future! Thank you for hosting us

A beautiful house with stunning views, well equipped with plenty of space for everyone. Clive always responded quickly to any requests. The property is within 30mins of Funchal and perfect position to go and explore the coastline and mountains of Madeira Would thoroughly reccomend !

I had a very pleasant and good stay at the Hillside Villa. At arrival I got very well received by Elvio at the villa. He explained everything good and gave some tips and advice for my stay. The communication is very good with Mandy an Elvio. Friendly and respons was fast. They give you the feeling your stay is important to them. The Hillside Villa was very clean and very well equipped. The pool is heated and nice also to use on a bit colder day. The garage is big enough for a medium to big size car. The street to the garage is a bit small but doable. So a bit of a challenge with a big size. Further the outside door space was clean and very useable with different place to seat during the day with sun. The neighbors are very nice people. Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!

Villa Gia is as stunning as the photos, with a stylish, spotless, and modern design. Henrique, the incredibly responsive host, met us for check-in, shared great local tips, and quickly resolved any minor issues. The driveway was no problem for our Mitsubishi ASX, making this a seamless and highly recommended stay!
