Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. The kitchen has sufficient dishes in good condition, a coffee machine with capsules available and spices for cooking. Household and toilet linen are also provided. There's also a washing machine. A reserved parking space is highly appreciated. Claudia Luisa has small attentions like dropping off strawberries from the garden. She is very responsive to messages and her explanations are clear, including in the accommodation. And finally, this magnificent view from the living room and the small terrace where we watched part of the Funchal fireworks. Ideal location for visiting the island. Câmara de Lobos is pleasant in the evening for eating on a terrace and listening to music.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

We have often rented apartments and houses, but such a well-equipped apartment with such a fantastic view has not yet been included. It was great that something like essential spices, tea, plastic wrap and paper towels was already on site, but even better that even dishwasher tabs and detergent seem to be here Standard matters, we haven't gotten to know it yet. The apartment is equipped with everything you need without being overloaded, which we really liked. The two balconies, or rather terraces, are just magically beautiful. The unrestricted view of the sea and the large palm tree that slightly overshadowed the half terrace were our absolute highlight. We thank you for a great time and lots of relaxation and will be very happy to come back if we are drawn to Madeira again. ❤️

Such an amazing space! Our family highly enjoyed our stay. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the location was great for hiking as well as trips to Funchal. We would love to come back again!

The apartment was very nicely decorated and sparkling clean. The amenities were great. A large plate of fruit and biscuits was ready to welcome us. There were also homemade cakes. Great! Olga was really very friendly, always easy to reach and asked if we needed anything else. The parking in front of the house was also very good, so the rental car did not have to be on the street. The location was a good starting point for many activities. All in all, the apartment is highly recommended

Melissa's accommodation was perfect. Clean, well located and the view from the balcony (or a few steps away by the sea) offers an incredible view of the sunset. Mélissa is very receptive to messages, very kind and very helpful in case of requests for access to the sites to visit. The apartment is well equipped for cooking. It is very representative of what we see in the photos. I recommend it 100%.

We stayed 13 nights at Fatima's. We've never had a place so clean! The accommodation is damp but Fatima makes sure that we are as comfortable as possible (spare sheets, towels in large quantities, etc.). The apartment is very well equipped, we did not lack anything. The views are splendid! Fatima and her family know how to welcome us, they are very kind and very responsive to our requests. The only negative point, but which is minimal compared to all the potential of the accommodation, is the sound insulation. The ceiling is only a floor and we can hear Fatima and her family walking if we stay in the apartment all day. The noise never woke us up or prevented us from falling asleep. We highly recommend this accommodation and now know where to stay if we have the opportunity to visit the beautiful island of Madeira again.

We had a great stay at this place! The location is ideal – just outside the city center, but easily accessible with a nice (but very steep) 30 minute walk. In the immediate vicinity there is a well-stocked supermarket and a great fruit and vegetable shop where you can shop at local prices – quite unlike the overpriced prices in the market hall of Funchal. There is also one of the best bakeries in the city nearby – a real highlight! The property itself is top equipped, clean and offers stunning views over the harbor and parts of the city with its terrace. Throughout the day you can enjoy sun, including fantastic evening sun. A perfect place to relax – we'd love to come back!

The accommodation was beautifully located in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also found the private parking lot great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. A beautiful apartment, but please be aware it is on a VERY steep hill. You can walk down to the town but even a relatively fit person would probably need to get a taxi back up. Taxi is around €7. Beautiful pool that is shared with apartment on the ground floor. Welcome pack was a nice surprise! Everything is as described in the listing. Cristina is a very responsive host. Roberto picked us up and dropped us back to the airport. Thank you! Madeira is beautiful. We will be back

Amazing apartment in the heart of old Funchal. Close to all the major attractions. It has everything you need for your stay. Super comfortable living room and bedroom it also boasts 2 complete bathrooms. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Madeira. This was the perfect home base for exploring the island. This home was amazing; larger and greater than expected. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring. I would definitely recommend this to others and would love to stay here again!

Wonderful apartment right on the ocean. The apartment was very spacious and has everything you need. Also has easy parking just outside. An extra bonus is all the great restaurants nearby!

This was the best air BnB I've stayed in, the apartment and view from the balcony were beautiful, and the location was perfect with it being only a ten minute drive from city center. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

The airbnb was nice and clean. Location was also good. Host was also very helpful in providing information about Funchal.

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.

I consider my stay in Jennifer's apartment to be one of the best I have ever had. Our group felt very comfortable in the apartment, we had a lot of space and everyone could spend time freely. The view from the balcony was great, the view of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations pleased our eyes. We prepared meals ourselves in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery. In the room with a grill and billiards, we had a great time in the evenings, everyone found something for themselves ;) I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, the best option you can find on the island. Nice little accommodation with everything you need, good amenities and Carla was very friendly and helpful with questions and if we needed anything. The windows were a bit cumbersome to operate but you can do that with a little practice. We would come back.
