Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ponferrada

The house is just like the photos, super clean and tidy. It has all that you need and even more. Ana super pending, gave us a lot of recommendations both for places to visit and restaurants. I recommend it 100% if you want to be in a place of 10, quiet and in an area with so much to see and discover.

Lovely apartment close to centre of town. Beautiful scenery and good restaurants and bars. Plenty of space and clean and well equipped. Great communication from Juan before and during our stay. Could not have been more helpful. Perfect location for us for a wedding we were attending locally!

We were walking the Camino Invierno and were very lucky to book Manuel’s place. It is literally on the Camino route. We picked up groceries on A Rua and cooked a meal at “home” as it is a decent walk back into town (about 30 mins). The house is spotlessly clean; really warm and cosy loft bedroom with lovely linen and great shower. Handy to have a washing machine too! Downstairs was a tiny bit chilly as hot air rises up to the loft area but it was OK with a rug on the couch. Highly recommend for a stay. Only thing that would have made the stay better for us (as international visitors) was wifi but definitely not a deal breaker.

Staying in the house of Jesus and his family was a real pleasure. From the moment we arrived and we were given the directions, we were already treated at home. With their own friendliness and good do of a Galician family, with local recommendations, and even some other affection on their part to enjoy dinner. Attention to detail, family and friendly treatment, you can't ask for more. The adjacent space with the dining room, barbecue, garden and kitchen, is excellent. I would appreciate a better insulation of the dining room ceiling area, for the cold nights of Galicia. Regarding the housing facilities, being a group of 7 friends, the different stays, having heating available, several kitchens and bathrooms, facilitated this weekend. While it is true that the house is still under renovation due to its antiquated furnishings. It is a small inconvenience, which does not make it impossible to enjoy the house. We'll be back! Thank you Jesus!

The place is charming, very nice and everything is very clean, ideal for relaxing. The dog had a great time in the river, nothing is missing and they are always very attentive. 10 out of 10.

We were looking for a place to disconnect and we found the perfect place!!!. It is a quiet and very picturesque place. The house is very well prepared and has everything you need to spend a weekend of disconnection.

Very nice stay and fully renovated house. The communication with Lucia simple and pleasant and the reception from her father too. The village is very small and quiet, very pleasant and well connected with other places of interest (Las Médulas, Ponferrada…). The only thing that would improve would be for stays with children. We would have come very well some cot/accessory bed/high chair… Otherwise great! To repeat 🙂

Congratulations Ana, for the excellent idea of restoring by combining the architectural elements and original materials of this wonderful apartment that is possibly almost 100 years old, with the comforts of a modern apartment. I loved the original terracotta or cement tile floors, and the cast iron radiators with legs, the super high ceilings that give a special brightness to all the rooms, the doors that I suppose are the original ones, etc. All this combined with a modern and perfectly equipped kitchen. The decoration ideas using the original frames and windows, the decoration of the classic furniture painted with great taste and care. The restoration of the sofas, in my humble opinion, was a great success. I wish you every success as I am sure your apartment is an excellent choice for those of us who like to enjoy comfortable, spacious accommodation close to everything.

Our stay (6 people) was spectacular; the house is large, very nice and super central. Celia is charming and has given us a lot of advice about the area and the places to visit, being attentive to us all the time. I recommend this accommodation and the Bierzo area; we will definitely be back!

Beautiful apartment in the center of Poferrada, right next to the castle and on the Camino! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, linen, there is a washing and drying machine, kitchen with dishes and everything you need. We were very satisfied. I would even like to live in it for a while.

We had a great time with a baby and a dog. The place is very quiet and beautiful, many places to visit. You can park right next to the building, the apartment as described, with wifi and will make a TV screen. Very cozy place. Highly recommended if you want to disconnect and be quiet, very nice people in the village. Ana and Adela's treatment were excellent, they answered at the moment and were very kind.

an excellent experience!!! we are happy to stay gradually. the truth we would have stayed even more days !! the finish very close, just like the attractions, really Ponferrada and Los Arroyos AT. are a highly recommended place. if there is a suggestion only that the heating can be in the bathroom too, however our stay was incredible!

The house is located in a beautiful village in an amazing area. Débora has been very friendly and attentive. The kitchen was fully equipped. We've been really comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to repeat.

Thanks to Eva María we were able to enjoy this very nice, quiet and clean house. The house in the village is very modern and very nice. Eva Maria is a very friendly person. There was no problem coming with our little dog. Everything was perfect! We want to come again. Perfect temperature in the house with heating in autumn, despite arriving almost without notice.
