House holiday rentals in Polzeath

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Absolutely stunning location! The views are outstanding and the private access direct to the estuary/beach is great. The garden is steep but that’s to be expected, we made great use of the pool and hot tub and it was an added bonus that we could use the paddle boards! The house its self is beautiful and spotlessly clean. A few things do need sorting though, there was the odd missing door handle, bifold doors are hard to use and the master bathroom door didn’t close. However these didn’t bother us at all as everything else was perfect. Easy walking distance to Crantock and Fistral beaches, which were both beautiful. We would 100% book again! We stayed at the palm tree lodge for 3 nights it was lovely and peaceful just what we needed, Jules the host was most helpful on hand to answer any questions we had, the information she provided was clear and easy to follow ie check-in and house rules. The lodge itself was super homely equipped with everything we needed and more. The design and theme was so nice giving us inspiration for our own home. Would we stay again? most definitely we could not fault the property or the host.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

Wow, what a place! Far enough away from it all to be peaceful but close enough to walk and explore many beautiful places. The annex is spotlessly clean, wonderfully equipped and situated perfectly with spectacular views across the fields. The pool was, as expected, amazing to come back to after a day out in the fresh air. We enjoyed dining on the terrace overlooking the countryside. Even on a rainy day it was beautiful. Christine and Roy are perfect hosts and really made our stay enjoyable. We usually don’t mind going home at the end of a week away, but we were really sad to leave Stonelands. Thanks for a perfect week on the Cornish coast!

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

Jane and David are amazing owner and they are very supportive. The place looks amazing and very clean. However the place is very difficult to find. I used Waze and Google maps but still I kept going around on the same place. I lost almost 40 minutes to find the place. So better be ready and upload the my3words apps and it would lead you to the right direction as recommended by Jane and David. But overall we had a great time. The place looks great.

This was our first time in Rock and the house was just perfect. We were 4 adults and 5 kids including one baby. The location was excellent for the beach, for watersports, some restaurants and the ferry to Padstow. The shop is a 25 min walk away or a 5 min drive. The house itself was brilliant and the upper floor with the balcony was just perfect. (What a view!) The bedroom set up was great too and we had a wonderful time. Many fun memories made and we hope to visit again next year.

We had such a lovely stay at ‘Hideaway’, it really felt like a home away from home. The decor is just gorgeous and the views are stunning. With under a 10 minute walk to Padstow, it was just a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back 😊

Beautiful place! Would 100% stay again! We requested decorations to be put up for arrival as it was my mams 50th birthday. We sent decorations but they weren’t put up when we arrived. We spoke with Malcolm about this and he came straight over the next morning to do this while we were out and left some beautiful cupcakes, helped us rectify the heating as it was very hot, and was available at all times when we needed! Beautiful place! Very local to lots of shops and very close to the train station: beautiful views!

What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

One of the standout features was the beautifully kept garden; it’s clear a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining it, and it added so much charm to the property. Inside, the house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in a stunning part of Cornwall!

We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

Lovely 3 night stay at Butterchurn for my wife’s birthday and a friend’s wedding nearby. It was the perfect location for us, with a beautiful view from the cottage. Louise was very helpful and we loved meeting the dogs and the sheep opposite! Would definitely return if staying in the area.

Staying at Camilla's home in Mousehole was an absolute joy. The house is beautiful, very well equipped, stylish and comfortable and, situated at the top end of the town, the sea views from every single window are simply stunning, it was amazing! Camilla left a welcome pack of a few essentials that was very welcome, was always responsive and helpful and check in and out were very easy. We parked on a road at the top of the town and carried our luggage down to avoid taking the car through the narrow streets, an option if you're happy with the walk back up the hill to the car. We had visited Mousehole on a daytrip before, but staying in the town was a really special experience. We definitely hope to return.

This was our first time in Cornwall, the hosts were amazing! Gave us ideas on where was best to go and best routes to take around the area, really friendly and made us very comfortable. The Airbnb its self was lovely, cozy and had everything we needed. Would 100% recommend and we hope to come back again!

We had a really wonderful stay in Polvenna beachhouse. The house is clean, spacious and light, with a cosy, beachy interior. The beds and showers are great and the kitchen is very well equipped. We all loved the amazing view and the sound of the waves when lying in bed at night. It was really magical. Porthtowan has a great beach. We loved the rockpool and rented surfboards. The village store is a short walk down and sells fresh bread. Nearby St. Agnes is lovely and has some great restaurants. This is a good place to visit the rest of Cornwall from. Don’t hesitate to book!

Lovely cottage, very well equipped. Ideal for us with the dog. There was a walk down to the beach just a few yards away and then only half a mile to the main beach that leads right around to Daymer Bay. We often stay Padstow side and really enjoyed the difference on Rock side.

Lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful, comfortable house. Fantastic views over the estuary, which we enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the balcony. As expected for hilly Fowey, the walk back up from town is fairly steep, but still doable for the oldest member of our party. Although there is no parking outside the house, you can park to unload and load, then park in the car park, a short walk up the hill. It's cheaper to pay for the week's parking, rather than pay each day. In all a very enjoyable stay and we'd be delighted to re-visit if we didn't live so far away (in Scotland)
