Family-friendly holiday rentals in Polzeath Beach

This property is absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable! We loved our stay. There was plenty of room and having so many bathrooms was definitely a plus. This was a great home base for our Cornwall adventures!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Caroline’s place! We loved the freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival. Check in was super easy as the key was just left in the door. Our little boy Myles loved watching the alpacas too! Overall very pleasant and refreshing stay I would recommend!

What an amazing place, amazing hosts and an amazing time we had. Jeremy and Lucy were wonderful. I cannot recommend highly enough. This holiday was a last holiday for Dad and it was touch and go whether we would make it. Jeremy helped so much and even moved a bedroom downstairs for Dad. When we arrived with 3 dogs in the party, Lucy had a stake in the ground and a long horse lead sorted in a matter of minutes. The house is wonderful. Lots of space for the 3 family groups, beds really comfy and having a big main bathroom and 2 ensuites was so helpful. We spent a lot of time at the property and the views were out of this world. Evenings were spent in the hot tub and chilling out on the veranda with a glass of wine and a fire. Our son and girlfriend even has their own space in the shepherd's hut. Far enough away for privacy, but close enough to share meals. Jeremy had even laid a new floor. Thank you thank you thank you. We will be back!

A lovely house in a fantastic location. Peter and Scarlet were extremely easy to deal with and very responsive. The house was clean and tidy with good amenities - especially the hot tub and the pool table. Well worth checking out.

A wonderful peaceful place which felt like a retreat. The owners were friendly and being able to join in with feeding the animals in the morning was great (not just for children). Sauna and hot tub was great. They would check what time we wanted it put on which was considerate. Was a surprise weekend for our mum and was even better than expected. Thank you for the stay x

Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

Lucy's retreat was a beautiful place to stay, the perfect couples getaway. She left local reccomendations, great directions, a birthday banner and even some treats for us, such thoughtful touches. Jenny was fab about us arriving later than expected and we got a lovely welcome when we did eventually arrive. The lodge is lovely and had everything we needed. The gardens are absolutely out of this world, every part you walk around is better than the bit before!! Very friendly, genuinely nice hosts and we couldn’t have asked for more from them. As it was our first time in Cornwall they were really helpful with ideas of where to visit and places to eat/go for a drink. Sonny (the dog) was a massive added bonus too! Brilliant few days away, it was very much needed! Thank you both again :)

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

Amazing views. An absolute joy to have our morning coffee looking out over the sea. Fantastic location, very quiet and peaceful - just what we wanted. Trek to the beach was ok once we found the best route (turn left at the top of the path). Overall a lovely little hut, clean and well equipped.

If you want to stay in a magical house then this is the place for you. Beautiful scenery, calm and peaceful atmosphere and sensational house. The bedrooms were spotless and so amazingly well appointed. Thank you

Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Cottage in ruhiger Lage. Wir haben die Osterferien dort als Familie mit Hund sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung ist gut durchdacht, die Küche bestens eingerichtet, und die Nähe zur Küste ist ideal für Ausflüge, auch zu Fuß. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch den tollen Gastgeber Mark – herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I cannot recommend Cat’s Cottage enough, Bridget was absolutely fantastic! So friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, brilliant communication before we came down, nice concise message checking we got in okay and to let them know if we needed anything, one of our favourite Air BnB experiences we have had, cottage was just as described, so quaint and an absolute delight to stay in, the touch of fresh bread, scones and strawberries was so thoughtful. We are already planning our next visit! Thankyou both for being so kind, helpful and welcoming!

We had the most wonderful stay in St Agnes — such a quaint and friendly village with some amazing places to eat (don’t miss The Cornish Pizza Company!). St Agnes Head at sunset was truly stunning, and the whole village was incredibly dog friendly — our elderly companion was warmly welcomed everywhere we went. There are gorgeous short walks perfect for a gentle potter, and it’s clear there are longer routes for the more adventurous too. As for The Bower Barn — it was an absolute dream! The place had everything we needed and more. The vibes were spot-on: cozy, stylish, and completely relaxing. The enclosed garden was huge and felt so private and safe — especially appreciated coming from London. We were lucky with the weather and loved being able to open all the skylights upstairs to let the breeze in. We stayed for three nights and genuinely didn’t want to leave. I already wish we’d booked for longer — and we’re already planning our return. Can’t recommend it enough!

We had a fantastic 4 days stay in Golant. The views were incredible and the locals were all very friendly and welcoming. The house itself was immaculate and we felt right at home. The hamper on arrival was a lovely touch and the large basket of toys and games for the children were great.

What an absolute find, the pictures do not do this property justice. The location is most convenient with easy access to Falmouth. The property is nicely decorated with beautiful views of the marina and river The bedrooms are lovely, but the master bedroom is better than any hotel advertising a sea view, it was wonderful. We will definitely be heading back for another stay. Can’t recommend enough.

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

Matt and Chloe were great hosts, communicative and helpful. The house was lovely, modern, private and set amongst the trees. There was a great welcome basket waiting for us with visitor information, scones, jam and clotted cream, tea, milk in the fridge. The bathroom was great, with a good power shower. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen. The weather was not so good but we did manage to use the pool, which was clean and a nice temperature. We visited: Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, Bodmin jail. A great place to stay, we would not hesitate to book again in the future.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

Our stay with Stephen was great! Very clean and private space cabin. With a lovely outside area where we sat with some friends. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephen was great and really flexible RE: check-in timings and always had a very quick response to any queries I had before our stay. Would highly recommend.

As described, good central location within walking distance of the town. Well presented and good amenities.

Milton was extremely helpful. We left a few things behind he couldn’t have been more helpful. Answered every message quickly. We felt really at home in the Lodge. Everything we needed and appreciated the fire as the weather suddenly turned cold. Thank you for all your help. We would love to stay again.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.
