You will be staying in our beautiful camping pod set in 7 acres of woodland, orchard and meadow, less than two miles from the beach and with distant views to Dartmoor. It is very quiet as there are no other guests on the site. The pod is in a wooded area a short walk from the parking space. Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing for the outdoors and sometimes wet/windy weather. The pod has no heating so please come prepared at cooler times of the year, we will provide additional bedding.

We had a wonderful week at Oliver and Louise’s Airbnb. The location was so peaceful, and yet also served as a great base to explore this part of Cornwall. You do need a car, which we knew beforehand. The place was impeccable, the description was accurate and both Oliver and Louise were friendly and helpful.

The most beautiful place, all amenities in the appartment wrapped up in a cosy comfortable clean seaside themed vibe. Best nights sleep on a gorgeous king sized bed with luxurious fabrics. The helpful guide curated by the host was perfect - we were able to travel to Polperro, Fowey, Liskeard and Plymouth on local buses and train - never had to use the car during our stay. We went to pubs with roof top bars, coffee and crab sandwiches on the harbour and ended our week with a lovely meal at the Hannafore Point Hotel. But it was the view from the lounge and bedroom window that was the highlight - absolutely breathtaking especially watching the sun rise whilst sitting in bed with a cup of tea - so much so that we didn’t watch the tv because watching the view was so much better - like something out of a magical world. And that’s the overriding feeling we have and memories we treasure - a magical week in a magical place in the most magical setting - memories that will warm us on dreary days

We've visited Polperro many times and chose a cottage ad opposed to camping. The location was perfect, over looking the harbour. The bed was so comfy and the whole property done out in a relaxed, romantic & comfortable style. It was a perfect base for a couple and the area has so much to offer; walks, sea swimming, shops, food and more. Compared to a local cottage business advertising in Polperro the price per night was excellent value. The only criticisms are that more could be made of the outside space and perhaps tidied/cleaned up a little more. would have also liked larger and better quality bathroom towels (personal preference). We will be booking again, thank you for a lovely stay.

Hideaway Cottage is a really lovely little place and a great location for exploring Polperro/Looe/Fowey area. The cottage is very well appointed and was spotlessly clean. Although attached to the main house, Kelly & David have ensured it is very private from entrance through to the garden and views so it feels like a detached cottage. Easy walk downhill into Polperro, bit taxing on the way back up the hill! We don't have a dog but the cottage is clearly very welcoming for dog owners, all in all we'd thoroughly recommend Hideaway and would happily have spent a few nights more there.

We are just home, recharged from an idyllic weekend break in the workshop. A beautiful property, secluded and tranquil, set in such peaceful grounds. It has everything you need – we loved the attention to detail in the property, as well as the outside area for coffee or lunch. There’s so much to do nearby. Our favourite was the walk to Polruan (we can recommend the Lugger Inn for drinks and Sunday lunch) and Fowey (Hall Walk is a must). Lots of lovely National Trust locations nearby – beaches (Lantic Bay is dramatic, just be prepared for the walk down!) and houses; Lanhydrock (including for parkrun) and Saltram. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Charlotte, for being such a fabulous host!
