Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Polk County

We had such a nice Christmas stay with a handful of adults and kids. The property and view is pretty, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. This was a great spot for young kids since it is free of clutter and has an additional family room in the basement they could run around and watch TV in. Would love to return in the summer to experience the river and outdoor space.

Lisa & Pete's cabin was perfect! We booked this mini-vacation to get away post-school and busyness and it was the ideal spot to decompress. We enjoyed all of the amenities provided (outdoor toys, firepit) and the kayak. The kids loved fishing right off the dock for sunfish. Lisa was also very responsive with questions I had. Cory was very helpful and provided detailed check-in instruction, in addition to a full guide on the surrounding area, which is beautiful. The house is within walking distance from plenty of shops and local restaurants, and within a short driving distance of more options. The house is very comfortable, clean, and fit our needs perfectly - highly recommended!

We had such a great time. The house is just so beautiful. I am very particular about smells, so the first thing I noticed was... " It smells so clean!!!!". Everything is so organized. They have little beautiful tags on the kitchen. You can quickly find anything you might need. The shampoo and soap amenities were a super nice touch. We played games (provided by the host) and we listened to records (that was an amazing experience). I fell in love with the dining room chandelier and the little details all over the place. The tub!!! Oh my God that tub is so beautiful! The built-ins !, the windows! They have several lounging areas, my favorite one was the area in the main room. They provide cozy blankets!!!! It was so much fun to have a glass of wine and cover ourselves with fluffy blankets. I was there for only a few days but it felt like a long vacation. The rooms are spacious, the closets are big. I am definitely coming back in the summer. I can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful trip to Kyle’s rental in Taylor’s Falls. The house was fantastic and exactly how we pictured it to be. The carpets and kitchen were a little dirty when we arrived, but certainly nothing huge to deal with. The front door with the keypad was a little difficult to deal with, but Kyle responded promptly when we asked for tips. Kyle always responded instantly if we had any questions or concerns, and the house was absolutely gorgeous. We loved sitting on the porch in the sun and enjoying the peace and quiet. Would definitely book again!!

Just beautiful and cozy. Felt right at home and comfortable in this gorgeous house. Was bigger than expected. Kitchen was fully stocked and easy to make a meal. Beds were really comfortable. My kids loved the bunk and arcade games. Would love to come backs in the summer.

We had a wonderful mom and daughter weekend at this gorgeous home! The location and lake view was beautiful - within an hour of arriving, we saw swans, eagles, a heron, loons and an otter. The open living space and big windows made it a great spot for relaxing inside, and the furniture and beds were super comfortable. We also enjoyed kayaking on the lake, drinking coffee on the dock and sitting around the bonfire. Like other guests have said, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and the appliances were top notch. The hosts were responsive and the house guide was comprehensive and clear. We would absolutely stay here again!

The house is beautiful!!! Much bigger than we thought it would be- one of my favorites was the porch facing the lake, absolutely wonderful. The game room was so fun- playing darts and pool. Would definitely recommend. We had people ranging in ages from 53- 6 months. Something for everyone.

We have rented many cabins over the past dozen years. Never found one that made us want to make a new reservation for the next year. Until now. Chris's cabin had everything we dreamed about. It was very clean and well decorated. Looked just like their online photos. Couldn't be any closer to the lake without being in it, our dog (lab) loved it. The beach was clean, and you could easily walk out 40 feet in the water, and there was a floating pad to swim to. The lake was clean enough to swim in (we know Chris didn't clean the lake) but it made it that much better. A fire pit close to the cabin and waterfront. The kitchen was stocked with more appliances and utensils than what we could use during our stay. Same with the board games (dozens) and water toys. When it was time to be indoors, it was comfortable and relaxing. There were many windows so you could always see the water and sunsets. Long dining room table and multiple tv's. And if this was not enough, 11 min drive to town.

Great location and the property was even better than described. They thought of everything you would need and then some.

Is not on the water but it’s only about 150 yards down a trail. Nice dock that you can tie up your boat to if you’re bringing your own. The owner has family that lives right next door and is very helpful if anything is needed such as propane for grill, etc.

The home was plenty big for our group, with comfortable bedding, really nice towels and linens, a well equipped kitchen and lots of extras, like WiFi, streaming channels, kayaks, life vests, games, toiletries, spices!! There were lots of great places to enjoy outdoors, down by the lake, by the fire pit, by the grill, outside the kitchen. Being able to rent the pontoon was a huge bonus and we really enjoyed using that to get to the swimming hole across the lake. The basement shower was great for downstairs guests and the view could not be beat! The lake was quiet, the fishing was so-so, the swimming was the best! We also enjoyed the outdoor outlets to inflate our huge floating raft and paddle board. We ventured out to a local winery and tavern for great food. We’ll definitely look forward to another trip in the future!!

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful property on the lake. It has that old cabin type feel but has all the necessities to be comfortable. The pontoon was great and we had a blast fishing off the dock. Would definitely come back!

The space was exactly as described. The hot tub was a HUGE benefit! Maryjo had great communication anytime we needed anything.

Katie's place comfortably accommodated our big group of friends and served as a great gateway to the beautiful natural surroundings. Highlights included taking a hot bath and sitting by the fireplace after a long hike on the Ice Age Trail and falling asleep listening to the ice booming on the lake. Communication was clear, quick, and consistent. I'd highly recommend!

By far the cutest and cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed at. We had a girls weekend here and it had everything we needed and more. The space was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! This was how I pictured the perfect cabin stay on the water. It was so relaxing and fun for me and my dog. My dog can be reactive, so to be totally secluded and at peace was amazing. This was the trip of her life! It was safe for her to roam around the woods and wade in the water, and there was a natural perimeter so she wouldn't go too far. Water was clean. The hammocks, watercrafts, hot tub, fire pit, and cabin decor were all great! This was a good time of year to go and barely any bugs. AC worked well. I could see people struggling a lot with the driveway in the winter, but you could always park at the top and walk down if absolutely needed. Host was great. Thank you for everything!

This was a truly spectacular place to stay, with beautiful surroundings, excellent amenities, and a very communicative host who accommodated all my needs perfectly. An extremely comfortable cabin and excellent for families. 10/10 and will be back.
