Lovely peaceful haven, tucked away at the end of the road around a pretty dam. Cottages are well spaced, well equipped and the grounds lovely to stroll through with our dogs. We loved doing a BBQ breakfast on the terrace and dinner in the restaurant was very good also. We would return to stay here again. Wifi reception is not great, but the peace and quiet is the trade off.

Spent 2 winter nights at The Lantern and it was amazing. Far enough that you feel like you have escaped but close enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore to get to. Communication with Michael was prompt and efficient and the cabin perfectly outfitted with everything you could need. The bed and bedding top notch and the electric blankets especially helpful as we had 2 cold nights. Highlight is the wood fire hot tub and the bathroom/shower area. The overall design of the entire place is really comfortable and inviting. Would highly recommend coming with food to cook - once we arrived we did not want to leave. And in fact, we can’t wait to return in the future.

We loved our stay at Jingella cottage and hope to be back one day. The house was very comfortable and being able to walk to the lovely on-site restaurant was a bonus.

Antonina was a lovely host, who responded straight away to any questions we had. The home was just as described very beautiful with lovely surroundings. We felt so relaxed in this beautiful private surroundings. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully be coming back in Easter.

Thank you Eloise and Troy for having us and our two dogs over the Christmas break. Lovely property with everything we needed, a spacious yard for the pups, and Eloise was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to get out of the city and be amongst nature for a few days :)

Lovely, serene sanctuary. We enjoyed the beautiful views with breakfast on the deck and relaxing in the hot-tub. Cathy and Doug were very friendly hosts, and despite some bad weather conditions, they made sure that amnenities were still accessible. Would love to visit again!

It’s a great place for relaxing with friends, where is not far from city ,very quiet and peaceful. We very enjoyed the wood fire in the yard and also walked down along greens Rd ,drove around mountains roads and met cute animals.

Excellent cabin in a lovely tranquil location. Great hosts with everything that you need in the cabin plus more, to have a relaxing time outside of the city. Great for fishing and beach walks, close to amentities if you need to stock up on food too.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

The Wilds was amazing! Such a beautiful spot away from it all. Peace and tranquility just as we wanted. Exceeded our expectations. Jane was super lovely and friendly. Easy to talk to and made our stay such a pleasant experience. We look forward to going back again!

Gorgeous place to stay, helpful info from Nicky, wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is so peaceful and loved it even in the cold of winter. Enjoyed paddling there on our kayak from Mooney Mooney, such a stunning part of the world so close to Sydney and wonderful to arrive and enjoy the hot shower and a cup of tea!

We had a great long weekend stay at Anders' Great Mackeral Cabin. The cabin is a bit tricky to get to with small kids and a bit of luggage but it was an adventure and Anders was extremely helpful in making sure we were well prepared and had everything we needed. Once we were there the cabin had everything we needed and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained and relaxed. The views from the cabin are spectacular and we loved spending some time in the bush and down at the beach. We would definitely travel back to the cabin for another visit.

Our family of 3 had a great stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ben’s place. They are very thoughtful hosts, the place has everything that you could need to have an enjoyable stay. The beds were comfortable and everything in the cabin was VERY clean and modern. Super cool cabin, really loved it! The location was close to Erina fair by car and the neighbourhood was peaceful. Thank you, we would love to come back :-)

We really enjoyed staying here and particularly liked the separate entrance and driveway completely private from the main home. The facilities and amenities were great, very clean and the High Street was only a short walk from the home. It was also an easy walk to the Ettalong Esplanade which is so beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Thank you!!

Good communication, very accessible location. Great for the wine visits and a lovely rustic feel to it. Air conditioning kept the cold winds at bay and we had a lovely weekend away.
