We had a lovely stay at Ashley & Brittany’s. The house is spacious, clean and in a gorgeous location. Ashley & Brittany were very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

We had a lovely time--the location was great and the stay was exactly as advertised. A comfortable home to come back to after a day of adventures on the island!

I feel so refreshed after staying here and would absolutely recommend a visit to anyone who needs a break. The nature and peace of this home and location is everything. We saw so many amazing birds, I now understand the appeal of birding 😂. So many thoughtful touches and cute decor throughout the home. The views, the hot tub on the deck, heated bathroom floors, throw blankets, fireplaces, the fire pit in the yard etc. we really enjoyed just being here. Our host was the absolute best I have ever encountered. She thought of everything: welcoming snacks, the home was clean and a perfect temperature, she let us know about construction noise on one of our days gave us a discount for that day and a late checkout. We felt so taken care of. Thank you Eden and Allison Elizabeth!

Armaan’s place is a charming little haven—perfect for a peaceful retreat. The cabin was spotless and filled with thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the deck and hot tub felt like pure luxury. Waking up to the sounds of birds and being surrounded by nature truly grounded my spirit. I hope to return again soon!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s an absolutely gorgeous setting. Very quiet and relaxing. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was spotless, comfy beds and beautiful bathroom. Kitchen was so cute and well stocked. Even a few local brews to try, smore kit and some chips. The outdoor area was awesome. Beautiful views of the sea, huge trees, high up on a hill, fire pits, outdoor shower etc. Lots of touches like toothbrush, razors, bug spray, fire starters, in case you forget anything. Expected in the setting but use the bug spray if hiking the island. I forgot and ended up with a tick likely picked up in the long grass at Curry Preserve. Ferry runs often and is affordable. If you’re thinking about it, book it. The island is stunning and we enjoyed beach combing, hiking, and watching the sunset. Grab any critical items before you hit the ferry, but there is a nice store on the island which has a ton of stuff at affordable prices. Thanks for an amazing adventure

Gorgeous place - even nicer than the photos! Loved the hot tub and how peaceful and verdant it was on the back deck. Comfy beds too. We went for a mountain biking trip and the trails were close by. A great place for a true getaway! A surprisingly high-end convenient store is a quick drive away. Only downside is that the space doesn't have good sound insulation. My husband and I were hoping to spend one day working remotely, but it was hard for two of us to be in Zoom calls simultaneously. Internet was great, but very little sound insulation between rooms so it was hard to do the calls and not be disturbed by the other person. Just good to know if that's how you're hoping to use the space.

Our stay at West Beach Resort was phenomenal. The host was exceptionally kind, friendly, and nice. Mostly everything you need is available onsite (coffee, food, fire wood). Some wood was included for our fire pit and we really enjoyed the peaceful setting with our beachfront cabin and private fire pit. We even made it into the hot tub for a bit and that was great too. Inside the cabin was thoughtfully appointed and spotlessly clean. Great stay. Won’t hesitate to return.

10/10 would stay again (and did, just now!)… this was our second time to Alex and Laura’s place… they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and the place is super cozy and all the natural light coming in through the trees alone makes it worthwhile! I work on the island when I’m around, and the walk to Sturdies Bay is gorgeous and very quick… you can arrive on foot and make it to theirs if you don’t carry too much with you… it’s about a 40 minute walk to the ferry… Thanks again so much guys!

I enjoyed my time here. Good location. Easy walk to some great shore access points overlooking Active Pass, Bellhouse and down Mary's Rd (#14). The space is large, comfortable, peaceful, straightforward, clean and well organized. Lots of great art and touches both inside and out. Wifi worked well and had a good space to work. This place is a great value. Carol is a great resource for some local tips.

It was fun watching the tide come in and out. The place wasn't squeaky clean, but I thought it still merited 5 stars for cleanliness. It would have been nice to have stayed longer and to have made use of the boats and firepit onsite, but we did enjoy the nicely decorated interior and the lovely deck.

My third visit to the cottage in the barn, and I continue to fall deeper in love with it and with Orcas. I appreciate being just a bit away from town and how quiet and peaceful it is here. The little winery down the street is great fun, and the Lum farm has fresh goodies and you can visit with their animals! it's a gorgeous little home away from home and having the huge property to walk around with my pup is a big part of the draw for me. Well equipped kitchen with coffee supplies and spices, wraps, BYO oils and such for cooking. Love love and will be back as soon as I am able. Thanks, Susan!

this guesthouse is a gem! private, peaceful, with beautiful views, comfy beds, all the thoughtful details and essentials. the outdoor shower was such a treat! we'd love to come back.

I cannot say enough good things about this location and the hosts! Three generations of us stayed the weekend here and we all three loved it and would all come back. We enjoyed the cabin, the views, the hosts, the community...EVERYTHING.

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at The Cabin! Shana was a wonderful host and was extremely responsive with whatever questions I had. Her and her husband were so kind to greet us at the cabin and welcome us into their wonderful space! We really enjoyed cooking on the grill and spending time by the fire pit after spending the day exploring the island. It was definitely the reset my partner and I needed. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

We had a lovely stay here! It is a beautiful location, nice and close to town with fantastic hosts. They were very responsive and provided everything we needed.

Jules and Cornelius were so lovely and welcoming and the farm is a great place to explore Bowen Island. Note that the cabin is a place for switching off so wifi signal is not strong. Who needs wifi when you have a donkey though, right?!

Some outdated amenities but overall ok. Think for price of cabin that could provide a microwave. Saw some hair in the sink and a window that lacked cleaning. Bed not super comfortable. The place itself was magical and regenerative. Brunch was great and trails in Moran were about 20 minutes away

What an amazing place! We had such a wonderful time staying here and it was just what our hearts needed over this holiday break. The cottage was perfect and we loved the opportunity to disconnect and soak in all of the natural beauty and coziness this place had. We almost didn’t want to leave and explore the island but forced ourselves to and loved coming home to the Patos cottage. Thank you so much for creating such a special place.

This house was one of my favorite Airbnb’s yet. It easily served our sleeping needs. I liked how there were thermostats in each room, including the bathrooms. The kitchen was well appointed and my favorite - they left a welcome basket with sparkling water and wine. The house is situated only 1/2 mile from a great park for hiking, strolling and mountain biking. As for the beautiful Whatcom Lake, there were some stairs to get down to the sitting area where we could watch the mergansers and even a few loons. We didn’t take advantage of the kayaks and canoe, but one of us took a couple of cold plunges (not my thing). We were there in the first of April and the water was still cold! I highly recommend this house and location.

great place to stay, quiet surroundings with different ways in and many nature based activities, cozy places to stay with the benefit of being close to town. neighbors are quiet and surrounding areas are peaceful. great place to get out to relax or just get away. WiFi works very well and the wood stove is a plus to just sit by and play board games or watch TV. great place for a summer vacation to hike or be by the lake.

Thank you Ben and Ashley! The instructions and everything were super clear from the get go so we didn't have to reach out much, but when we did they were super responsive and friendly. The place itself has tonnes of space but feels really homey and cozy by the lake. It's nice and quiet and Bellingham is just a stones throw away to drive to. The dog treats and little dog items made it feel really welcoming for us to bring our dog. Thank you! Hot water was great, modern finishes, plenty of towels and linens, you can walk in and feel right at home. Great spot if you're looking for a little getaway any time of year.
