Family-friendly holiday rentals in Podaca

We recently stayed at Villa Blue Dream in Pisek, and it met all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality from Ivana and Joško, who were incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The villa itself is beautifully designed, with spacious rooms that are tastefully decorated and equipped with all modern amenities. One of the highlights was the stunning outdoor area. The infinity pool offered breathtaking views across the bay, and outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying meals al fresco. There’s a hot tub and lots of lovely sitting areas to enjoy the view. Ivana and Joško were kind enough to share some of their lovely wine and olive oil in their amazing wine cave. The location is also ideal—close to local attractions yet tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. Would recommend car as nearest restaurants are a decent walk (uphill on way back) Ivana recommended some great places to eat. It’s a gem.

We came to stay at Franos place for a week as we were getting married nearby. He was a great host and made the week great for us! Would recommend staying here :)

Excellent location for visiting Mljet National Park (the entrance is within walking distance) or simply enjoying peace and nature. Clean, well-equipped, and well laid out. The pool and jacuzzi are definite highlights. The host is very kind and highly responsive. We truly enjoyed our stay! Just be mindful of the narrow vehicle access — it’s advisable for a passenger to get out and guide the driver if you’re using an SUV.

Stayed here May 25 wonderful appartment. Far bigger than expected. Stunning views. Perfect location right on the beach.

I only wish that Airbnb could allow me to give Andrej and Nives 10 stars! You could not find more gracious, hospitable, and helpful hosts anywhere. My family and I immediately fell in love with them. And the house is fantastic! All the amenities you need, plus they went to the effort of stocking the cupboards with many pantry items, and a refrigerator full of fresh food and drink. Their elder daughter even baked us a peach crumble cake, which was absolutely delicious. We cannot recommend Andrej and Nives‘s home in Dugopolje enough. You will be treated as a guest in the best classic style: with every opportunity to relax and rejuvenate, but be treated like returning family. They have spoiled us for every Airbnb in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay at Zvonimir’s place in Podstrana! The home was beautiful, clean, and had an absolutely stunning view, the kind you don’t forget. Zvonimir and his family were exceptional hosts: kind, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. One of the highlights was receiving some delicious homemade treats that made us feel right at home. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

We were there as a group of girls and we can really only recommend it ☺️ Ana welcomed us very kindly, was flexible with our arrival time, showed us everything in peace and explained and even prepared a small welcome surprise 🥹 if we had a concern, she answered within a few minutes The house is perfect if you are looking for a place to relax, with great mountain views, a heated pool and sauna, ☺️ with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for large groups. You have your peace and can really have a great vacation 🏖️

Wow what a find. Mirko is the best host, always attentive, there to answer any questions and help if you need it. The villa is equipped with everything you need, kids loved the computer, pool table and darts they also had a great time in the pool they were never bored. Mirko was on hand if we needed anything he was kind to lend us the electric cars for a couple of days but also gave us a number for a taxi (Damir) to use on other days we ventured out. He helped us out one night on ordering a takeaway while the restaurants in Gata were closed (it was Sunday) nothing is too much trouble. He took us to the supermarket and showed us round and gave us ideas on what to explore. We had cake and delicious pancakes made for us and he made sure we had lots of goodies in the villa when we first arrived. He is the best and we will definitely be going back.

Wow! This was an absolutely fantastic experience. We loved the house and what it all has to offer a comfortable stay. The area is BEAUTIFUL, the location magnificent, private area, no noise, lots of nature, wonderful views, gorgeous sunsets. Nothing to complain about. Fully equipped house. If you are in doubt hurry up maybe someone books while you are thinking.

We love staying in this cozy studio. It was amazing to wake up to such beautiful views. The terrace downstairs was perfect for some morning yoga. We had an amazing stay!

The view from the balcony sells this apartment! It is stunning! Spotlessly clean, as well as milk, bread etc on arrival lovely thoughtful extras such as beach towels, sun cream. Also, thoroughly enjoyed the local liquor and cakes. A great local beach is only 5 minutes walk, downhill, but worth it, especially for an early morning swim. Old town is 10 minutes stroll, with a great selection of restaurants. Thank you Dubravka we loved your apartment and had a great time.

Lovely apartment right by the waterside. Comfortable apartment with all you need and with a lovely terrace with sea views. Standout feature is the private swimming jetty - wonderful for a swim after a day out but also a great place to just sit and watch the boats. We didn’t have a car, the Old Town and restaurants are about a 15 minute walk around the coast though with lovely views along the way. There is a small shop about 5 mins walk away but bigger stores near the Old Town. Kristina welcomed us with homemade cake and liqueur and also brought us homemade biscuits a few days later. Kristina is very friendly and lives upstairs with her mother so always on hand if you need anything. This is a great place to stay.

The other reviews are totally accurate. Marinas place was magical. It was the best trip we’ve ever been on and it was the first with our 18 mo daughter. Marina gave us her milk for our baby! Marina was extremely friendly, funny, and had perfect communication. She did our laundry for us too!! (She even removed a tough stain from our baby’s shirt!!). We could not have asked for a better vacation or a better host.

A true piece of heaven! The room was perfect, very comfortable and thoughtful — nothing is missing. Everything is there for a memorable stay. Stay too short for us who have only done one night! Veja is an absolutely charming, welcoming and caring host with a welcome drink and delicious cake. Despite a busy day for her, she made herself available for our arrival and contacted a neighbor for our dinner. I would recommend it without so much as a second thought! We'll be

A rare occasion when a house is a paradise for both children and parents, so neither of the parties needs to compromise. even though the house is located on a hill, the play area is properly fenced so as a parent you can relax and enjoy breathtaking views in peace. our children loved the playground so much they didn't want to leave the house. Driving to the house is doable even for inexperienced drivers like us. you need to be careful and follow the host's instructions closely. If in doubt which road to take, better ask, turning on a hill is no fun.

We had a fantastic stay in the apartment. The location was perfect, a really easy walk to the old town but far enough away that it was quiet and peaceful, we loved having the terrace and being so close to the beach. Martina and Andrea were so accommodating, flexible and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here for a trip to Korcula!

Tonci's accommodation is a hidden gem. The approach is very steep and due to a bottleneck, it is recommended to use a small car (we rented a VW Polo and a Renault Capture). However, the hardships are definitely worth it! We were greeted around 8:30 pm by Tonci personally. He had provided a small cheese/sausage platter and showed us the apartment. Contrary to the statement that there was no hot water, there was some, you just had to turn the boiler switch. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Up in the mountains, you have a lot of privacy. The nearest neighbors live a good 60m away. Tonci came by about every three days to maintain the pool (refill chlorine tablets and measure water level). While the pool was being refilled, there was time for questions about the surroundings and small conversations. We more than enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this accommodation.

What a fantastic stay, the villa is better than the photos it’s a beautiful place, modern with an old Croatian feel. The outdoor oven being a real highlight of the trip, the pool area and the hottub all great. Bozo was unbelievable as a host, we say it’s the little touches make the difference and when I messaged asking if there was any coal anywhere win the villa for the fire, I received two bags at our door within minutes from his place next door, we also got extra check out time on our leaving days as there was a gap between the next guest. To say he went over and above is an understatement. Location is brilliant for Split, and Podstrana has been built up since our last visit to the area, both are within minutes and Ubers are affordable if you’re not driving or drinking. Split stole our hearts again and we would not hesitate the revisit Bozos place.

We had 2 wonderful weeks at Davor's house! We and especially the children enjoyed the great pool very much. From the terrace, you have a wonderful view of the bay, which you can also reach very quickly on foot (don't forget bathing shoes - there are many sea urchins) Davors was always quick to reach for any questions and tips and was always very friendly! Highly recommended!!

Lovely Villa, beautiful outdoor space with pool and sun terrace. Lovely access to the sea via Beach with padel board and kayak. Very nice spot.

We arrived at the house without any problems and all four of us were really pleasantly surprised by the house and the great surroundings. Everything was available in the house for the first day. We then went shopping to be able to take care of ourselves in the house. The house, the area - just everything fantastically beautiful - keep it up! We would come back. You simply deserve five stars!!

The most special place with stunning views but secluded and private. Thomas’s father who’s vineyard it is was super friendly and looked after us giving us wine, dates and fruit (from the garden) The cliff bar / cafe Corni Petar just to the right at the bottom of the drive then down the windy track on the left is amazing. Lovely chilled environment, quiet music and cold beer - visiting is a must. The beach below is very special and as we were at the start of the season practically empty which made it all the more mesmerising. Lots of lovely restaurants in Jelsa but a car / taxi is preferable to get there. Stari Grad and Vrboska are also very cute.

Wow! I really think this could be one of the most breathtaking views we have ever had on holiday, it’s just amazing. The house is beautiful. Plenty of space for a family of four and it is equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t spend much time inside though because the outside area is just so lovely. The heated pool was fantastic for the children and the summer kitchen is just brilliant. We have never stayed in such a perfect place. The local area is beautiful. We went hiking and Petar also recommended a rafting company that we went out with and had a brilliant time. Both trips were great ways to explore. We also went to some beaches that Petar recommended and spent a day around Mostar which was also incredible. A fantastic holiday all round. Thank you

We were a family of 10 people who had a great stay at the house. Everything was up to expectations and the host was really turned on and accommodating. In mid-May there were very little people and activities in the area, and all of the kiosks and bars along the beach were closed (except for the shooko and the neighbor). It was a bit too far to walk to the store to shop for goods and a bit far to walk to Omis. Would think there is more activity and possibilities in high season:) Otherwise, great house we had a great time in.
