Lovely place to stay plenty of local places to take the dog for a walk and within a 20-25 minute drive you could access numerous other places and towns to visit. Lovely stay and place the hot tub was nice to relax in after long days.

Such a lovely place. The hosts thought of all the extra little details and communication was great. Welcome drink, bread, eggs and milk were a very nice extra touch. It’s actually even nicer than it looks in the pictures. Walkable pub/restaurant so no cooking was required but a well equipped kitchen if you do want to cook. A tablet that explained how everything operated as well as things to do in the local area. A quiet and relaxing place that I would definitely return to.

3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

We have just had a fantastic stay at The Lamp Post. We were absolutely blown away by the accommodation. Steve and Andrea have thought of absolutely everything. The whole place is luxury and pristine. The hot tub is so easy to use and definitely an extra added bonus to what is a beautiful place to stay. Thank you so much - we will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic stay here for 4 nights. It was beautifully clean and had everything and more we needed. Such lovely hosts, very responsive should you need them. Great location! Such an easy drive to a lot of places. We visited Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, Thornton Le Dale and more! All under 1 hours drive away. Cottage is so homely and very welcoming 😊 Amazing that each room has their own en-suite. Beds are so comfy! Downstairs bedroom was great for us with someone in the party having mobility issues. Games room is a fabulous touch! Sauna and hot tub both very clean. Highly recommend to stay here. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🥰

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking the surrounding area from the house was great and very near to a pub and tearoom which both served great food. The hot tub was an added bonus!

Wayne and Dave are 10/10 hosts, they are so responsive and helpful and kind and made what would’ve been a perfect stay in such lovely accommodation regardless, even better. The accommodation is so clean, tidy, and well thought out. The hot tub and cinema room as well as bbq on the patio area made the stay so unique and relaxing. Really enjoyable stay. Everything was perfect, and I would return if I were back in the area. The location was peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what I was hoping for. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Lovely stay with my son and parents. Place was ideal and with the football field and park just behind my son had the best time. The cottage was pretty, very homely and full of Personal touches. The garden had the sun most of the evening too which was lovely to enjoy. Would recommend and felt right at home! Thank you again Rebecca

Such a lovely place to stay, especially if you have family in Hull. The stairs are abit steep which were mentioned. Having said that my mother and father-in-law who are 86 and 84 manged it quite well, really proud of them actually 👏 ❤️ The cottage was pristine, clean tidy, cosy just lovely, we all totally enjoyed staying here, would highly recommend xx

Skylark cottage is in a lovely spot, a perfect retreat from busy life and a really calming space inside and out. It was spotless, cosy and well equipped. The newly created wood was a joy to walk through and our dog loved it here too!

Stopped for a couple of nights at the Woodpeckers Cottage for a mini honeymoon, we had a wonderful relaxing time, was the perfect weekend! Was perfect to take the dog, the enclosed dog field was an amazing idea, it was lovely to sit there in the evening and watch the sunset. Everything in the cottage was spotless, and had everything you could possibly need. Jacqui was excellent at communicating, and when we did message needing a bit of help, they came over straight away, nothing was a problem! Thank you both for a lovely time, and for being so friendly and welcoming!

Beautiful and cosy little cottage in a picturesque village a 15/20 minute drive from York. We stayed in winter &, besides anything else, the log burning fire alone made it ultra cosy whilst the winds outside blew. The cottage had all the amenities for us to feel at home, including a very good shower and full kitchen. Rich was a very friendly and responsive host who was more than willing to accommodate our request to bring our dog too. Thank you very much for letting us stay!!

We had the most wonderful stay. We searched many airbnbs and were really taken by the peaceful location, and the quality and care that was put into making it a 5* experience. Beautiful cottage in such a lovely village. This is definitely my favourite place to stay when I come to Yorkshire to visit family.

The Granary is a beautiful and cosy place to stay that is accessible to many fantastic places such as Dalby Forest and the coastline. The accommodation is beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome where nothing was too much trouble. The animals were an added bonus. Manor Cottage was immaculate and very well equipped with everything you could possibly require. It was set in lovely gardens and the area itself was very convenient for reaching all the attractions which North Yorkshire had to offer on its Moors and in its Dales.

The photos do not do this cottage justice - such a beautiful place to stay. The bedrooms were much larger than we expected with super comfortable beds and beautiful views from both sides of the house. The kitchen was large and as someone who loves to cook every meal from scratch, this was very well equipped. The living room was cosy with a lovely view of the Ouse. The garden was beautiful and very well kept. The place was very tranquil and we felt very relaxed. The walks in the surrounding area were lovely. We took the river bus one morning to York - the bus stop is a 2 minute slow walk when you turn right from the cottage and is well signposted. After a cold day in York, we messaged John to have the heating turned up (it’s a Hive system on his phone) and this was adjusted for us immediately. John was very accommodating with lovely communication throughout our stay and we really appreciated the Pringles, cookies and milk when we arrived.

Gorgeous cottage in a lovely location, perfect for walks. Great local pub, and easy driving distance from plenty of attractions and areas of interest. The cottage was immaculately clean, easy to find, and set in a lovely spot next to the village church. Would highly recommend - we hope to return soon!
