Wonderful place. Super cute inside and out. Great location central to Sintra.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Wir haben 2 Tage in Palmela bei Christoph und Doris verbracht und das war definitiv zu kurz. Wir wurden sehr nett von Doris (mit Waffeln) empfangen. Es ist eine wunderschöne, großzügige Wohnung mit einem ruhigen und begrünten Innenhof. Fußläufig (wenngleich relativ steil :( ) kann man Restaurants etc erreichen. Leider hatten wir das Pech, Sonntag und Montag dort zu sein und viel der schönen Restaurants waren an diesen Tagen geschlossen. Aber es dürfte sich sicherlich lohnen. Andere Gäste haben ja schon beschrieben, was man alles in der Umgebung unternehmen kann. Ich kann den Aufenthalt dort wirklich empfehlen, nicht nur als letzten Stopp vor dem Flughafen Lissabon, sondern wirklich als eigenständigen Aufenthalt. Es gibt viel zu tun und zu entdecken. Und man kommt dann immer zurück in die kühle (!) wunderschöne Wohnung.

This is a lovely place to explore Sintra and the national park. You're really close to the beaches and the forests, with the best view of a small village. Check in was easy and we received really clear instructions on how to find the building. The cottage is gorgeous and well stocked, we had a comfortable stay.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Joannas Unterkunft. Es gab einen tollen Ausblick, die Lage war super mit schönen Stränden in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft und Einrichtung sind zwar recht einfach gehalten, aber das Gesamtkonzept war sehr stimmig. Die Terrasse mit kleinem Pool und direktem Zugang vom fast voll verglastem Wohnzimmer hat uns besonders gefallen.

You honestly have to see it to believe it! The house is such a treasure. We stayed as a family of five, 3 boys ages 9,5 and 4 years old. They did not want to leave :) João was an exceptional host and went beyond to be sure we had everything we needed! Great restaurants just a few minutes walk away and supermarket 5 minute drive away

Beautiful house with everything you need, Lovely private outside area. Hosts always answered any questions quickly. A car is needed to get around. Had a brilliant week relaxing here with our family.

My family and I just returned from a fantastic stay in Ericeira at John’s Surfy Loungy Lodge. We could not be happier with the way everything went. The apartment had everything we needed, the views were incredible and the location was perfect. John and Graca were fantastic hosts. We would 100 percent stay there again, and with luck we will, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family. The entire experience exceeded our expectations!

Had a great stay in a great location. Would say not really suitable for anyone with walking disability as very hilly. Location was great with a 10 minute walk down to river. We used uber and cabs to get back up. Take trainers or shoes with grip as pavements are slippery 😳

Great place to stay when visiting Lisbon…the ferry is a 10 minute walk away with a nice small beach right next to it…the ferry drops you of where all busses ,tram and metro or train lines meet…the apartment is well stocked one of the best we have been in…it is on the third floor without elevator but does have nice wide staircase…the outside patio is real big and offers nice summer breeze …bed is super firm but was ok for us…parking is secure and a bonus…good for smaller cars as it is tight to get in the door…a grocery store five minute walk and a small store right across the street which was nice…it was good to have more than 4of each kitchen utensils and lots of plates and bowls so we could load up dishwasher if needed…there was AC but both units were noisy and could not use at night ….owner was notified and stated he was unaware and would fix…overall would recommend and use again….

We had a quick but lovely stay at Maria’s. Very clean, quiet and had the pool to ourselves for a few hours. Super easy check in and communication! Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive. Bruno sent many personalized recommendations based on our interests. Having the pool was incredible after long day of sight seeing. Private, quiet, but also steps away from great restaurants and landmarks. Don’t hesitate to book!

Foi muito bom ficar lá . Era um espaço moderno e acolhedor. A vista era o que mais prometia e de facto é de tirar o fôlego. Seja de dia , de noite ou de madrugada. A tv proporcionava imensos entretenimentos, havia loiça imensa no caso de se querer fazer uma refeição , e a zona é tranquila. Perfeito para uma escapadinha a 2.

Cécilia est une hote super sympa qui nous à aidée pour découvrir Setubal et ses environs ainsi que toutes les astuces pour circuler au mieux dans la ville. Nous recommandons vivement !!!

A cosy little apartment in a great area of Lisbon. The apartment has everything you need, including a balcony with a beautiful view. The neighbourhood is peaceful, lots of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops within walking distance. The only downside is getting up and down the stairs to the top floor of the building, especially with shopping or luggage (great cardio though!)

It was a great experience! Definitely recommended for families. Easy check-in, clean apartment, helpful staff. It was amazing.

Extremely nice apartment and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Location was 5 minute walk to grocery store and 2 bus stations within 1 minute walk. Balcony was wonderful to enjoy morning and evening. If you enjoy walking, closest beach is 10 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your home. Would book again if i make a return trip!

The apartment is lovely, clean, well-equipped, and even more spacious than expected. The location is close to bustling neighborhoods, but the building itself is very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Von der Wohnung aus konnten wir sehr viele schöne Orte besuchen und es ist trotzdem sehr ruhig und privat. Das Dorf ist nur 4 Auto Minuten entfernt und auch sehr schön dort etwas zu essen und am Strand die Zeit zu verbringen. Die Gastgeberin versorgte uns mit allen notwendigen und war nicht aufdringlich. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.

A Perfect Stay! We had a great week at the apartment, everything was just right. It’s perfectly located for exploring the local area, and the terrace is absolutely stunning, our favourite spot to relax! The place was spotless throughout and incredibly well-equipped, from kitchen spices to a hair dryer. The host was friendly, helpful, and always quick to communicate. We’d definitely recommend this B&B and would love to come back!

We loved staying in the apartment, the view from the balcony was amazing. Joana was brilliant, was very accommodating when we arrived early and gave great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Was lovely to meet in person and the little dog Obi. It was relaxing to come back to a peaceful oasis on the balcony from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots. Be warned though, access to the apartment requires lots of steps as is situated on a hill so may not be for everybody!
