Cottage holiday rentals in Pleine-Fougères

Our stay in Normandy was simply amazing. From the first moment we felt welcome thanks to Sonia, a great hostess, who received us very hospitably. The location is perfect: quiet and relaxed, ideal for a complete rest. The beach is close by, which is wonderful for a walk or a relaxing afternoon. The house itself offers plenty of space and is fully equipped. The TV room is perfect for cozy evenings together, and the extensive kitchen invites you to cook for yourself. The presence of a washing machine was also very useful during our stay. The jacuzzi was absolutely a highlight — what a luxury to relax like that under the starry sky! All in all, this stay was really great. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the tranquility and the hospitality. Definitely a place to come back to!

We had a wonderful family stay at the property. A beautiful peaceful setting. We loved the wood burning hot hub and the pizza oven. Gym was great, and games/family chill room was perfect for kids to have their own space seperate from the main living/dining area inside. Jack and Richard on hand and very responsive. Richard even popped over right away with fire lighters on night one when the previous guests had left an empty box which was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very comfortable and very well-equipped. The trampoline, games, books, and comics delighted our daughter. Despite average weather, we were able to enjoy the garden, hot tub and hammam. The house is also located a stone's throw from the lively heart of Saint-Pair sur Mer with all its shops and three steps from the sea. We'll be back with pleasure in this nice house. the accommodation is very close to everything in less than 30 minutes the hosts are welcoming, available, caring. I highly recommend it even more if you have a pet

Brian and Jeanette are the perfect hosts. If you want to be surrounded by nature and beautiful countryside this is a wonderful spot. The location is great, close to the coast and many interesting towns and villages. The local bar tabac is definitely worth a stop for a beer or coffee. There is plenty to explore but if you just want to relax then hanging out at Apple Tree Gites is a great option. We will be back.

We had a great time at this place! The house is as described, very clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The location is quiet. Hosts were very welcoming, available, and responsive. We highly recommend this address and would not hesitate to return!

Nicky was a very flexible and accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble. She provided a lovely welcome pack to get you started after a long trip. During our stay was very helpful with local knowledge, even helping with my French 😊 Couldn’t have asked for a better break away for peace and quiet in a tranquil location with fantastic views. The extended weekend was magical, the hosts are welcoming, friendly and attentive. Special mention for the hearty breakfast, the soothing setting and Sophie's travel and outing recommendations in a very clear book. The information is useful and saves us valuable time. Sophie's husband is also very attentive and has taken into account all our requests. He ensures the proper functioning of the spa on a daily basis. We rented the loft with spa and it will be a memorable stay. Go for it, you won't regret it :)

Thank you for a wonderful stay in the cottage. A few days in the area were spent with our dog visiting Saint Malo, Mont St Michel, lunch in Saint-Suliac and a local walk along the river. We loved the pretty enclosed garden and enjoyed having our breakfast there whilst listening to the birds. We really appreciated the home from home feel, the comfy beds and the crisp white linens. Many thanks again Fiona for putting some groceries in for us, this was really very kind and very much appreciated. We would highly recommend a stay and would love to return in the future!

Small incredible green oasis nestled not far from the center of Granville. The house is equipped with many games for children, the outdoor furniture is very rich (hammock, shell chair...) the rooms are spacious with a water point nearby. Check-in is simple, Sabine and Emmanuel are responsive. Pleasant accommodation with everything you need to have a good time with family and friends.

Where to start with this review.. this is hands down the best air bnb we’ve ever found and i’m so glad we came across it. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s absolutely stunning. Our dogs loved the garden which was fully enclosed. The interior had great attention to detail, the kitchen was amazing to cook in and we really felt so at home here. Location wise it was within perfect distance from everywhere we wanted to visit (Granville, St Malo, Mont Saint-Michel) and had fab amenities within 10-15 minutes. The closest bakery was a 3 minute car ride. One of our highlights were the neighbours who we feel deserve a special shout out - Lesley and Rene went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed it. They also gave us some great recommendations for dog walks, beaches and local markets. We’d of been lost without them, so thank you Lesley and Rene. Don’t think twice about booking this place! A wonderful place to stay in rural Normandy. Jean-Francois is an excellent, friendly & helpful host. La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

We had a wonderful stay at Debbie and Guy's. The cottage was very clean and we felt at home. We enjoyed the quiet and all the activities offered on site. Thank you for everything, we'll be back soon!

Amazing spot to unwind from the big wide world, two hounds loved it with great walks in mature woods on your door step, with beautiful surrounding country side. Everyone we met or interacted with was friendly and very helpful. Great local produce to be had so go find it as you will not be disappointed. Would not and will not hesitate to highly recommend and book again....

This place exceeded our expectations in so many ways that there are likely an insufficient number of characters to capture it. Sandra’s home and the surrounding area were more than welcoming. Having the ability to see Mont St Michel from the property during different times of day and weather conditions was amazing. There are lush fields to gaze over. We were fortunate enough to experience a sheep parade, not once but twice as they traveled down the narrow town road to pasture. The restaurant, literally a stone’s throw away, had food that was unbelievably good (as was the cider) and we easily could have eaten there every day. We saw goats on the walking trail that looks to loop around a significant radius, all with a view of Mont St Michel. The home was quaint and comfortable. Sandra was a joy to work with. We literally couldn’t ask for anything more. As I said, there are insufficient characters and you probably have better things to do (such as booking this place) than read any mor

Beautiful quiet and peaceful environment, in a very nice little house, very well-equipped kitchen, with the ideal garden to rest and which was the happiness of our dog! Farida and her daughter were very welcoming.

An exceptional accommodation, very well equipped, comfortable and in addition, a large flowery courtyard overlooking the valley. What more could you ask for on vacation! Close to several beautiful villages and St-Malo. what a wonderful house, cozy room and kitchen, spacious bedrooms, lots of storage possibilities. All facilities are present and usable. Privacy. A great beautiful garden, well maintained and a beautiful view. The swimming pool was wonderful, good temperature so also to use in less weather. Taco is a super host. friendly, and invisibly present to clean the pool and remove the trash bags. good communication. The sights and towns are accessible by car. It's a bit of a drive. We had a very nice and relaxed stay. Taco, thank you very much!

You can see Mont Saint-Michel from afar, you can experience the pastoral style, and the host is also very warm and friendly. It would be better if the curtains in the living room were completely blocked, the sunlight is really strong!

Joelle was very friendly, helpful and practically always approachable. The tips we got from her were very helpful. We would recommend Joëlle again and again! A further booking there would be possible.

I have used Airbnb for many years, and have had many wonderful stays.. but my stay at Sarah's Airbnb felt like home. The total experience was absolutely lovely... the home is all equipped and has everything you will want and need... the location is very beautiful and ideal for getting to the beach quickly by car... and the host are warm and welcoming!!

delightful 5 nights stay in the beautiful accommodation. Very quiet area. We brought our bikes and cycled a lot in the area. Beautiful bike ride to the Mont-Saint-Michel.
