Apartment holiday rentals in Plaza Area, Kansas City

From the moment I walked into Cheryl's place I knew I was in the right place. I loved everything about it. I was in Overland Park for a convention and ended up working long days. It was so nice to come home to such a peaceful and well-appointed space. The apartment is very spacious and has every thing you would ever need. It is within walking distance of downtown Overland Park, which is a lovely town with great places to eat and get coffee. Cheryl is a very friendly and attentive host. I loved that she cares about meeting her guests and I enjoyed my converstion with her and her husband. All around this apartment is a gem and I look forward to returning. Thank you Cheryl!

This place is darling. It is a lot bigger than it looks in photos. I thought it would be tiny but it was the perfect size. They were totally accommodating and very communicative.

We came in for a softball tournament and watch the Royals. The location was central to everything. Great restaurants just blocks away. The place is just as described. Perfect for our 4 days in KC. Highly recommend and would stay there again if we head back to KC.

You CANNOT beat the location for the price. Overall this rental was exactly what we were looking for as far as being close to the river market but having a kitchen and try and save a bit instead of a hotel. We had some issues with cleanliness but they weren’t egregious and I got the impression that it was likely an accidental miss by the cleaners. A few things to note: the building is historic and not only are there stairs plentiful but they are steep and a little uneven. It was fine (if a workout) but if you have any mobility issues at all, friend this one isn’t for you. Also, the building is primarily an office building and directly below is an office that had people working at 9am on Saturday and when I say that I could hear every word they said from my bed I am not exaggerating but ironically the street was super quiet most of the time. Lastly, either ask for extra towels or bring your own bc they give you a minimum and no toiletries. For the money it was ultimately great for us!

Kimmie’s place was PERFECT! We were there for a volleyball tournament and saved TONS on taking an Uber to the convention center. Everything was not only clean and comfortable, but there were extra goodies that we GREATLY appreciated! Kimmie was easily accessible and wonderful at communicating. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Thank you SO MUCH Kimmie.

Gloria’s place was amazing!! Clean, close to a lot of restaurants/bars, there is even a little doggie park on the 2nd floor which was so helpful if you’re traveling with your furry friend. Our trip was very short, so we didn’t get to use the pool, which was a bummer. Hopefully next time! Would stay here again :)

Great location in Overland Park! Private entrance and parking, easy check in and out. Perfect for a quick KC trip, you will need a car!

Needed to book last minute and this place was great! Cute, clean studio basement spot. Easy access and tucked into a quiet neighborhood area. He had a video with instructions prior to arrival to show the house and parking and the self check-in, keyless entry. I’ll definitely stay again in the future!

This was the perfect place for me to stay. I was having an event at the convention center and I wanted a place that was quiet and out of the way but not too far. Janine's place was perfect because it was close enough for me to take a Lyft to the convention center most of the time (and each way was less than $10) and a driveway for me to leave my car in a safe area. The house is extremely spacious and decorated nicely. The floors are a little uneven...but it lends to the charm of the house. The lighting was great and it wasn't just overhead lights...there were some nice mood table lamps. Overall it was a great spot and I hope I can stay there again next year!

Ashley is the host you want when things go wrong in an Airbnb. The AC was busted the first day we checked in, but she had someone come out and repair within 24 hours, I would highly recommend this AirBnB for KC.

Very nice and comfortable stay. Bed is comfortable had great water pressure in the shower. The kitchen is stocked with what we needed. Will stay here again if we come back for any reason.

Angie was a great host and the apartment was just as described. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay there and would stay again if we ever need a place for a night or two in KC!

Quaint, clean and quiet in a cool old with everything I needed. Ashley was great, super communicative and gave me all the info I ended up front.

Quaint and charming building in ideal location. Easy walk to restaurants and coffee as well as a quick walk to Music Hall, Bartle Hall, etc. There is no central air, but a window unit and on an 80 degree day, it kept up just fine. Water in the shower took a few minutes to get hot, but was plentiful after. Ashley was very responsive with communication and we would definitely stay again.

A beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the beautiful front sunroom and park across the street.

We loved our stay at Abbeys! It was exactly what we needed for the weekend and we loved being able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. Great walkable dining and trails and very close to Whole Foods. Our dog was able to use a fully fenced backyard and we were so happy to have peace of mind with him in the home. Would love to stay again!
