Holiday rentals with lake access in Playa Tortugas

Cheaper and better than a hotel as even on vacation I prefer to live privately like at home. Very nice house and all amenities are in order, great contact with the host. Short walking distance to a public beach entrance. Going to the beach on foot, you have to cross a road that gets extremely busy in the rush hour and the pedestrian crossing traffic lights are out of order. However we found a pass underneath the road: as you exit the condominium territory, shortly after security checkpoint, there is an empty land lot on the right. Turn right and follow a footpath. We’d love to return to this place.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It was everything we hoped it would be, and more. The home was beautiful inside and out. The decks were gorgeous, and we had so much fun floating by the dock and lounging in the small pool, watching and waving to the boats float by on the channel -ranging from fishing boats to huge catamarans, and even a couple of super yachts! We spent probably 80% of our time out there. We vastly preferred the feel of being a block off the main road in a vibrant neighborhood, and the space of a house over being in the overly touristy North Beach area for our stay. That said, that area was a short, inexpensive cab ride away. We did rent a cart for 24 hours to explore the island on our own and hit our favorite Punta Sur spots. (Recommend picking it up in the late afternoon to maximize your usage) Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful! Pretty sure this will be our island home on all future visits!!

Waves crashing right outside the window, waking up to the sunrise over the water, the tiny bar next door to grab an evening beer and listen to live music as the sun goes down. Walking distance to all of the north end restaurants, beaches and shops. This room is not fancy or luxurious but if you want a simple, affordable place to sleep with amazing views, it’s perfect!

Christopher was a great host! Very responsive and helpful. Flexible and even helped us arrange a taxi in the early morning of our departure.

Robin’s place was perfect for our multi-generation family holiday. The simple studio apartment on the ground floor was perfect for me and my little kids, and the more luxurious apartment upstairs was very comfortable for grandparents and aunt&uncle! The pool and backyard were tidied daily (the pool was so refreshing and a big hit with the kids), and the beach was just a quick walk over the road. We were perfectly situated for a relaxing and peaceful family trip. Robin organized a van and driver to drive us to and from the airport, and a chef took cook dinners for us — which was such a treat! Robin was super responsive and friendly and always very quick to reply. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others!

Pleasant place and very well located. If you are going to use a jet ski or yacht, it is a very good location

Absolutely stunning appartment, the place is better then on the photos...the balcony is just awesome. Everything was very close, yet its very quite place. Juan Pablo was very easy to contact, he was very respectful to my requests and very helpful, even showed me the city and and best ever seafood resto in town. I really enjoyed this place, worth every dollar.

Above everything else, Angel is a excellent host who really communicates so well and cares about your time and experience you have at his home! The apartment is perfect for everything you need and location is close enough to most popular things in the hotel zone, even by walking through the former golf course as a short cut. Angel reached out to us to offer a solution beneficial to us both for the few days in-between two separate stays at his apartment with a discounted rate, which was really helpful! . The place is incredible, everything matched the photos, only the detail of the washing machine but it was not a problem. Excellent location and Karla's service was very good, because she always answered calls and was attentive. The place is highly recommended as are the hosts. They are very flexible with check-in times and that is appreciated because it allows you to organize your stay. Thank you for everything

We enjoyed our stay at Sabi's. Manuel was a sweet heart and very helpful. We met wonderful people that were also staying there. We would recommend and return in the future.

We had a great time at Leticia’s Airbnb. Place was spacious for 6 of us. Beds were comfortable. Huge lagoon and several pools to choose from. Never crowded. Kids rented kayaks from the office and had a blast. Many places nearby to walk and eat.
