Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pitahaya, San José

This is a fantastic home to stay in for airport arrivals and departures, or if interested in visiting Alajuela's churches and museums and the surrounding mountains and Volcan Poas. It certainly is full of personality and every amenity you could need. We enjoyed it so very much, we will definitely return as we live in Costa Rica and are frequently in and out of the airport at twilight hours (we've already rebooked for later this year). The home is quiet, spacious, colorful and safe. Thank you Kenneth & team for thinking of every needed item!

The gardens were a wonderfully peaceful respite. It was like taking a vacation while on vacation. The room was great, as described, and even had a dehumidifier available. The property is away from the city (we were able to Uber in and out of the city without too much issue - just a delay in finding a driver one night. We loved exploring and having our morning coffee in the gardens. We didn’t meet Phil, and we weren’t able to get a gate opener for our stay, but it worked out OK with two of us (one to drive the car and the other to get out and operate the gate).

Casa Peces is well maintained and comfortable. The home is spacious and the neighborhood was peaceful. The pool was perfect. It was very easy to communicate with both Martha and Jessica. I would absolutely stay at Casa Peces again on a future trip!

I had a great stay in San José. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that came up during my stay. It was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding areas. I’d definitely stay here again.

On our vacation, 9 of us stayed two nights! Pretty outside area and comfortable stay! Host was helpful and very responsive!

Comfortable and family place to enjoy in peace

Laura and Verny are wonderful hosts. We were very grateful that they opened their beautiful home to us. From the moment we walked into the house, we felt like we were walking into our own home. Laura had everything in her kitchen that I needed to cook and bake for my family. The views surrounding their home are breathtaking. Verny and Laura were very respectful to our privacy and made sure that we had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying at this AirB&B the next time you visit this beautiful country. Such a beautiful home with a gorgeous outdoor kitchen and open brick oven that's perfect for BBQs. Wish we could've stayed longer.

Good place, I will be happy to back there

It is an excellent place to stay. It has everything you need and more. The pool, gym and play and rest areas give it a plus. I felt calm and safe with my child. Jennifer is a great host

Nice secure building in La Sabana

My stay at Arturo’s place in Rohrmoser, San José, Costa Rica was truly exceptional—easily one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. The apartment itself was stunning: modern, clean, and beautifully furnished, with breathtaking views that made every morning and evening a treat. The location couldn’t have been better—set in a safe and secure building, just a short walk from peaceful parks, local cafes, and a variety of excellent restaurants. What really made this stay stand out, though, was Arturo himself. From the beginning, he was incredibly communicative, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and even showed remarkable integrity and kindness when helping me resolve a personal matter during my trip. It's rare to find a host who combines professionalism with such a personal touch. I wholeheartedly recommend Arturo’s place to anyone visiting San José—you won’t be disappointed.

If you want to be in San Jose but still feel like you have some nature, then this is the place to stay. The apartment itself is a bit small but efficient. It has lots of great amenities and cool restaurants access. The host was excellent and communicated well. I would stay here again.

We have now stayed in two of Seemore's units and will always look for them again when we visit San Jose. He is an excellent host, providing a quality unit in an enjoyable building, in a convenient location near the center of the city. We stayed for the week as our daughter was undergoing surgery at the National Children's Hospital (8 minutes away) so having a wonderful place to rest and recharge was a godsend!!

Everything was excellent, maybe the only thing I didn't like was that a lot of light comes in in the mornings.

We loved this place! The view is stunning. The city lights up like diamonds! The building is creative beyond belief. It is so much fun to explore and the concept rooms on the 31st floor are magical. The VW bus on the roof is over the top! The apartment itself is small but thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed to cook each night. I loved that there is a balcony and the bedroom window opens for ventilation, which can be rare in a high rise. We loved our stay here.

Pablo’s place was perfect, it was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and really well located. I loved the neighborhood it was in, lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Pablo was responsive, helpful and very kind - nothing but positive things to say. I need to travel back through SJ at the end of my trip and may just book the place again. Thanks Pablo!
