Cottage holiday rentals in Piran

My family and I stayed at the Red Fairytale Farm, and it was a truly beautiful experience. The property is full of charming details that give it a magical, welcoming feel. We also ordered the breakfast, which was incredibly fresh and delicious — highly recommended.

It was such a beautiful setting to be among the vineyards and my son loved visiting the farms birds and jumping on the trampoline. The accommodations were beautiful and the hosts were so lovely very welcoming and gave excellent recommendations about the local sites. We had their wine and their farm fresh breakfast we highly recommend it ! We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again one day.

Everything worked out super well. Unfortunately, we only imagined the garden a little (much) bigger, or the fenced garden is actually just the house entrance, so everything is paved there. That doesn't fit so well with dog... so unfortunately not as described, but otherwise everything worked out.

Very helpful host and wonderful location next to the sea

The cottage, very quiet location, was fantastic. Beautifully romantically furnished with a beautiful view of the lake from the bedroom. Everything we needed was present and the jacuzzi was great too 😁 We did not meet the hostess in person, but communication went very smoothly via wattsapp. If there were any problems, we could go to the super sweet neighbor Elvira. This is definitely a stay to return to.

A really cool, funky modern cottage that still is one with the environment. Lots of cool quirky touches and fun outdoor games and activities. We used the projector by the pool and the outdoor wood stove was great for cooking. An amazing place to stargaze— at night, the view of the sky in incredible. Close to motovun, but still quite private. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely perfect. You must stay here. We rented out the whole place. The house itself is beautiful in its design, spotlessly clean, every room with an en suite, very well equipped kitchen and a very comfy sofa. The outdoor space is even better than the photos - loads of different spaces to sit with comfy chairs and recliners etc. The view is outstanding - down the valley to the sea where the sun sets just perfectly in your sight line. The valley and hillsides are lush with greenery. A few trains go past that somehow just add to the mystical feel of the place, they aren’t a disturbance. Predrag and Barbara are wonderful hosts and their son is so friendly and kind too. They all have perfect English which made everything very easy for us. I really can’t recommend this place enough. Please go there! It’s a 15 min drive to anywhere but it’s worth being off the tourist trail.

Dear Jasna, This was the most beautiful Airbnb experience we have ever had. You are incredibly warm and have a great eye for detail. You trusted us completely, which made the stay even more special. The villa is absolutely stunning, everything was spotless and very, very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped – we truly didn't need anything else. The beds are comfortable, and the whirlpool is a perfect touch. The location is ideal, offering complete peace and quiet. We would love to come back anytime

We had a very nice stay at Jurij's place. He's a very welcoming person who knows the area very well. The house is private, tastefully decorated and clean. It also has the biggest bathroom you will ever see. We stayed here with a little kid which was great since children can run around in the private garden. Would certainly recommend to stay here!

The Olive Garden is a nice cottage surrounded by olive trees. The house is well equipped. Although it is close to the busy towns of Portoroz and Piran, the accommodation is in a very quiet neighbourhood with great views over the hills and coast line. Suzana has been a good host and responsive to questions we had. As we were travelling within Slovenia, it was possible to check in early: great service.

We (2 adults and a dog) stayed 6 days at Branko's house and enjoyed it very much. Branko gave us a warm welcome and provided the fridge with milk, eggs and other nice things. The house is beautifully decorated and very well equiped. Fresh flowers in the house. Everything like home. We enjoyed specially the privacy, the closed garden with our dog, the sauna and outdoor douche. We can highly recommend the house and Slovenië.

Katarina is the perfect host! She always responded very quickly and gave us a lot of very good recommendations for the region. My husband and I wanted a quiet and sunny hideaway during the grey and cold German winter and got what we were looking for: a very nice and cosy cottage with a beautiful garden with olive trees and lots of sun including beautiful sunsets in front of the cottage. There was enough firewood to warm up the cottage inside and make it even more cosy. We walked through the surrounding nature with our dog and made little day trips to the ocean and the surrounding cities. The food and wines in and around the nearby village Buje are delicious and we enjoyed a lot of good food with fresh fish and truffle. We absolutely recommend this place.

This place is really great. Settled in a small, remote village offers a peaceful atmosphere. Matjaz is a great host. Always responsive and ready to help and give a lot of good tips and advises regarding places worth visiting and nice restaurants. We spent there two great weeks and we'll be happy to get back there.

We enjoyed our stay at Jana's place. The house is in a quiet zone in the countryside, so the kids could enjoy watching the village animals. There is a fenced private backyard with gas grill and jacuzzi available. The house is very neat and clean, everything is newly furnished and equipped. Sorry we didn't have time to stay longer.

We had a wonderful time in the little cottage: enough space for everyone, and there was everything you need. The village is also very beautiful and you are in the middle of nature and have your peace. At the same time, you can easily reach all excursion destinations from there. We will be happy to come back!

Tricky location near the seaside but a very nice & available host.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like breakfast basket and local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! The apartment was cozy, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. This stay exceeded my expectations!

That is a perfect place for us with the dog. Plenty of walking options in nearby area. Lovely mini-house, just great for a week. Love it. Liz and Family are amazing.

Absolutely amazing, romantic cottage to stay at on our honeymoon. Plus we went on a truffle hunt one of the days and enjoyed an incredible truffle meal cooked by Marjana one of the mornings!

Everything was perfect. Very silent place. Very nice owner who gave us lots of information and tips for trips in the area.

From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. We were personally greeted and seen off by Mateja and Kevin at the accommodation. The place fully corresponded to the description and we felt completely at home. This apartment is definitely recommended!

Super nice location if you want to get away from everyday life and the door for a few days. :) Very, very nice villa with all comforts in the middle of the Istrian hills. Well suited for two to four people, possibly two "deep sleepers" can still find space in the living room. The supermarket is about 30 minutes' drive via small roads. 45 minutes to the beach. Suitable for relaxing and simply being with your loved ones in peace. We enjoyed a lot!!!
