Outside you will find an oversized deck (propane bbq), large yard, 4 ft firepit and an oceanside hammock. The perfect place to read a book or watch the million dollar sunset. With many endless beaches to choose from on the Northumberland strait from 2 min walk or 2 min drive to Waterside Provincial Beach.

Sinclair Island has the ultimate in privacy and beauty with a brand new (renovated) home on a cliff overlooking Sinclair's Nose (a rocky point often with breaking waves). *** ***work from home desk, computer, printer, scanner ***it boasts the most spectacular sunsets on the Northumberland Strait. ***house is a 7 minute walk from private Chance Harbour Beach (that can be used). ***property is private, often with deer and other animals running through the woods & eagles soaring over the cliffs

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool. Very quiet and private. Couples only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.
