Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pico Island

I highly recommend it.

The appartment was perfect for two people. The view was beautiful and definitely a highlight. A rental car is necessary since there isn’t much within walking distance. Two cats live there when you're outside on the balcony—it was always nice to have them nearby. Another great feature was the whirlpool, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a wonderful stay! We can highly recommend appartement T0.

Extremely nice "park" where you stay. It is nice and quiet and the cottage is spacious, beautiful and typical in Azorean style. The pool is lovely and in a good place, the jacuzzi makes it extra fun. It is a 30-minute drive from the cottage to most attractions and nice restaurants.

There are three separate apartments in the accommodation house. All are in top condition, with a great view and well equipped. Unfortunately, the kitchen is missing the essentials like oil and spices, which would have been nice. Otherwise, there is little to complain about, especially if you like cats you enjoy the daily visit of the walkers. And of course the hot tub is not to be forgotten as a highlight 👏

Great place to stay, and facilities were great! Was so nice to have a pool and jacuzzi and the location was great for going to all parts of the island.

This was a great stay, but definitely listen to the other comments about humidity, everything is a little damp. The hot tub was amazing, the kitchen is small but does the trick, and the floors are a bit funky under foot.

An unforgettable experience. Lorenzo was very helpful and very nice in sharing his life at sea with us. Highly recommended!

Wonderful spot, authentic house and surroundings, special welcome. We love vibe of the house, space outside, many places to sit around garden and drink coffe or wine, easy grilling space, beautiful views. I think pictures doesn’t do a full justice for these wonderful place.

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

We had a great time at this cosy dwelling. The beautiful vista to Faial island was certainly a plus!

Great stay at Patricia's, the accommodation is ideally located, close to Horta and the marina, with a very nice sea view. I recommend it!

Beautifully located house with nice sea view. House is very well maintained and clean. Cesar and Therese are very good hosts. Everything was present in the house and that is sometimes different for some accommodations. You had to drive a little further for groceries, but we found that no problem.

Accommodation in a very good location, beautiful environment. A few essentials present that help. Perfect for two people, no more. Interaction with the host is limited to what you need. Clean and well-maintained space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Antonio's place. The perfect mix of modern amenities and old farm style charm. We were spoilt with local specialities and felt warmly welcomed and right at home. We enjoyed staying in this small beautiful quiet village and explored the rest of the island from this special homebase. Just magical. Highly recommend it.

Our most loved stay in the Azores! Stunning view, property is as described and really well furnished to cook and enjoy a meal and glass of wine on the large patio. Will definitely come back!

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

A special place, very quiet, clean, excellent for babies and children. We became two families, very spacious, with all the necessary utensils available and a spectacular host, always available to meet us. We felt at home.

Great house, amazing view and also great restaurant nearby. The hosts were very responsive and always happy to help. The WIFI was a bit temperamental but overall we had an amazing stay.

Compact but very pleasant modern apartment with a good terrace. There are 2 other apartments attached, plus the owners place next door, but it felt very private. Like most places in the Azores they haven't discovered Smart TV yet. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but functional The walk up to the front door from the street is a bit of a haul if you have lots of luggage or groceries. The shower has no soap, so come prepared. Finally, the living room would be a little tight for more than 2 guests. Property managers were quite helpful in getting us in at the last moment after our flight was canceled. We felt the property was comfortable and well designed - recommended!

Lava Homes was everything we wanted and more for our honeymoon. The home was gorgeous with its two bedrooms, large bathroom and absolutely amazing views. We’ve stayed at a lot of air bnb’s in Europe, North and South America, but this view and the beauty of this stay surpasses them all. The pool and amenities were gorgeous, the restaurant was delicious and the team at Lava Homes were incredible. We already want to go back. Thank you!

This is an incredible property. Every detail has been thought of. The views are insane and the house is decorated impeccably. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food at Magma, their onsight restaurant, was the best we had in Pico. The pool and yoga studio, just breath taking. We loved our entire stay here and will return. Like others have said, the driveway is steep. Grab an automatic or be proficient with your manual car. We had a 7 person manual van and managed fine but we are comfortable with manual drive. Highly recommend!!! We didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed the house and the large garden including outdoor kitchen and pool. We really appreciated the quiet location and the very good kitchen facilities. Everything was as described and communication worked well. All good thank you so much!
