Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pickett County

Brenda, Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to rent grits! We had a great time even though we had a good bit of rain. Your place was beautiful! The trails were great especially since you could jump on the trail within minutes! Thank you for being so responsive to any issues that I had due to the storms! The whole house generator was a savior!!! The pictures of your place don’t do it justice! It was perfect.

The place was very peaceful very nice clean staff was very friendly! The staff was very responsive in responding to questions! Could not have asked for any better! This was my wife and I's first time doing this and we couldn't be happier with the results but you will . We loved it so much we even stayed an extra day! We will definitely be coming back!

Loved my stay here. Peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Cabin was very nice had nice extra touches. Would have loved to have had time to do some of the trails maybe next time, which there will most definitely be one. Oh and the hot tub was heaven

This was a beautiful location in peaceful Celina. Walkable distance to the lake and with beautiful views out back. It’s very spacious, and we loved our stay here!

Im conflicted on my review because I dont want it to be difficult to get dates for next time because it will be even more popular. The pictures do not accurately portray the beauty of the Irish Eagle. This place is Fantastic, and Susan was a joy to work with. I'd offer some shred of constructive criticism, but it does not exist. Thank you Susan, I hope we will be welcomed back.

The house is close to the Lake and restaurants are just a few minutes away. Very easy to get too and plenty of parking for our boats. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Jeanelle is a great host.

Brandon was super easy to work with. He responded quickly and even sent a personal text about checking and checkout. The cabin is just minutes from Eagles Cove Marina. We would definitely stay her again.

Pat’s place is great for a large family. It was clean and spacious. The location is beautiful! The adults enjoyed playing the games provided downstairs.

Another wonderful stay at Jackie’s place. It was our third trip back. We get barbecue at Lakeside BBQ and just relax on the deck for hours watching the lake and listening to birds. Very peaceful and serene.

Allen Cove Farm is an excellent respite! We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, all the fun noises and sights of nature (including whippoorwills!), starry nights, and warm lodging that felt like home. Stacie and Shirley were great hosts, responsive and friendly in their communication with us. I would highly recommend Allen Cove Farm when visiting the Big South Fork area!
