This stay was more then we expected! It had everything we needed and more. My kids were either down at the dock to fish or using the Kayaks that were at the house or our standup paddle board. I will be telling everyone about our stay and I hope to stay again soon!! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home it was exactly what my family needed.

Beautiful views from the living room ( by the nice wood fireplace) and the hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked and is a great place for cooking as a group. The dining room easily seated our group of 6 adults and a toddler. Beds were comfortable. As noted by others, the upstairs master bedroom is an open loft, though there is a large walk in closet and bathroom up there. We loved our stay and might well return for a visit in a different season!

I stayed at Jesse's place with three friends for a girls' weekend. The place was perfect for us! We were looking for a place surrounded by nature and this was great! The lake and surrounding area are beautiful and views from the hot tub on the deck were exactly what we were looking for!

Host was kind, responsive, and respectful Property was as described, beautiful scenery and a great place to escape for the weekend. Spent a lot of time on and in the water. Wonderful weekend with a lot of memories made!

Dan’s location was the perfect setting for a great vacation… Kasomo lake is private, quiet, relaxing and very beautiful! His cottage is comfortable, quaint and contains everything you need to get away yet feel like you are home. Dan was beyond helpful and responsive. We are already planning an Autumn vacation back to Dan’s. If you need some rest/play in Vilas county, this is your place!

Peaceful, great location and pet friendly. Near numerous Ice Age trails for hiking and lakes for fishing. Clean and well stocked with essentials for cooking. Comfortable bed and shower has great water pressure. Firewood provided for nighttime fires and star gazing. Deck overlooks trees and has patio table and cushioned chairs for playing games and relaxing. Would definitely come back here with our dog.

We had an excellent stay at Charles place. Very peaceful quiet place to stay. House was very clean with everything needed for our stay provided in the house. Host communicated very well, would recommend staying at this cabin!

We’ve stayed here 5 or six times, it’s always great! Our dogs love the big yard. We enjoy the woodstove every time we come. This place is great overall, everything you could need to feel right at home, great food around, nice grocery store in Crandon

We had a great stay for a fishing weekend. Circle driveway was perfect for pulling a boat. We did not take advantage of the wood fireplace but the cool morning made it tempting. Will stay again.

Scott was a great host very personable and very responsive. That cabin is very nice well maintained, peaceful and quiet. Very close to the UTV and ATV trails.

My boyfriend, our dog, and I enjoyed our stay here. It was an amazing time away from home in such a peaceful location. Everything was perfect about our stay and we exploring everything outside of the property and everything that was on the property. We loved walking around the property and enjoying time at the fire pit outside of our hut we stayed at. Bob and Laura were incredibly kind and accommodating towards us and made our stay with them 100% better. The place was beautiful and very clean! This was one of our favorite Airbnb stays as it was incredibly unique and unlike anything we’d seen before!!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! We have stayed at a lot of places over the years and this was definitely one of the best! It was beautiful, peaceful, cozy and had all of the amenities we could have asked for! Loved the lighting, helpful instructional signs, the sweet welcome package (thank you again!) and the recommendations for favorite waterfalls, wineries and breweries! Hosts were wonderful and very flexible, responsive and accommodating. We had 4 adults and 3 children stay and cabin was the perfect size. Kitchen has so many supplies! There is a large hill down to the water, but other than that, was a great location!

The Cozy Bear Cabin was perfect for our family’s recent getaway! It is fully stocked with anything you might need- kitchen basics, extra pillows/linens, and games for the kiddos. They thought of everything! It is very cozy with lots of comfy sleeping options- our kids loved the loft. We enjoyed the patio and fire pit out back. The cabin is also close to the convenience store and eating places in Crooked Lake. The Cozy Bear is a great place to stay if you’re headed to the north woods!

Our stay at Owl Ridge was great. It is so peaceful. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a place that is private -or a “staycation” away from home- this is a great place to stay. There are also plenty of restaurants in Wausau if you want to get out of the house. The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics for cooking and grilling (bring your own food, seasonings, etc).

Enjoyed every minute of our stay at Maria's property! She was incredibly responsive to questions and accommodating. The place was a perfect winter landing spot for me, my husband, our 8 yo and our dog. The kitchen was well equipped for all the meals we made, there were comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the puzzles and games galore. Everything was clean and they'd thought of extra helpful touches like the gate for stairs (which we used to help contain our pup), sleds outside (which we used daily!), and a first aid kid for the unexpected injuries my child/husband always seem to get. We've stayed many places up north and this is one we most certainly would love to return to!

There’s also a set of stairs that leads you down to the riverbank, where you can sit and unwind right by the water. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking, including pots, dishes, and utensils. A thoughtful touch was the candles they provided — we lit them in the evening, and they added a warm glow and a lovely scent to the entire space. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back again!
