The entire upstairs is very roomy and peaceful. 2 bedrooms with queens, large TV room with 5th person extra-long single bed. A kitchenette and newly remodeled bathroom. BIG wraparound porch to enjoy the garden. Historic Gold Rush towns, wineries, lakes, rivers, and winter sports are nearby. Yosemite's Highway 120 entrance is just a 1 1/2 hour drive away. A splendid getaway for any season of the year! Let us know if you plan a Yosemite trip as I will give you the best directions.

We wanted a cabin home in the woods, and it fit our expectations. It was cozy and it had all of the home amenities. We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning listening to all of the birds and watching some wildlife.

Our stay was just what we needed! We stayed here over the holiday weekend and it was close enough to get a snow day in. The kids loved the space, toys and snacks. We did have a slight hiccup with the key lockbox but Crystal was quick and amazing in getting it situated. Would definitely stay again.

This place was absolutely beautiful, kind of tricky to arrive but javi provides step by step directions on arriving which was absolutely helpful. The pictures do absolutely no justice for how amazing this place is. Javi was also very lenient and open to hearing out my concerns/ideas. I would definitely recommend and come back a million times.

Our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Angela’s cabin! The space is cozy, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind. Twain Harte is such a charming little town—we had a blast at the mini golf course and enjoyed some great meals at the local restaurants. Angela is a warm and welcoming host, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to return—next time in the snow!

This cabin is exactly what you would expect of a rustic cabin. It is about 30 minutes of winding roads to get up there. We were visited by a herd (12 at one time!) of deer every evening, through out the day we enjoyed our friends, the neighbors chickens, checking in on us. Also the friendly dog!! The mattress was comfy, the kitchen was cute, I absolutely enjoyed the back porch.

This place was beautiful! The backyard and deck was our favorite place to hang out during our stay! There were lots of games provided, which we all loved. The Shepherd House is the perfect place with-in walking distance to our family, downtown restaurants, shopping and more! Very clean with beautiful decor. The time period materials used in the renovation were perfect! The backyard was a great place to relax after a busy day. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed. Emily was a great host and very responsive to all questions. We will definitely be back!
