Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pescaglia

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

Nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés ! La maison est magnifique, avec tout le confort nécessaire et un jardin magnifique ! Tout était très propre, très bien équipé, tant pour les temps frais (Marco nous a fourni du bois pour faire une feu de cheminée) que les temps chauds (barbecue). La localisation est parfaite, proche de Lucca qui est une ville fantastique, dans la campagne verdoyante ! L’emplacement de parking derrière la maison est très pratique. La maison est sécurisée par une alarme. Et enfin, Marco a été un hôte formidable : il a été très flexible pour les check in et check out, de tres bons conseils et extrêmement accueillant, tout en nous laissant notre intimité ! Un grand merci Marco !

My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

Just loved this place! Came with family (including 10 month and 3 year old) in June for 12 days and we were all very sad to leave. The house is very well set up with high quality kitchen equipment, places, glasses etc. The location is stunning with wonderful views - we spend every afternoon and early evening beside the pool which was easily warm enough to swim in at the beginning of June, and then barbequed and ate on the terrace. The local town has everything you need (we ate at Erasmo three times), and the Essolunga is also very close.

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare solo un giorno ed una notte da Joanna, poiché avevano in progetto delle escursioni sulla Alpi Apuane! Premetto che conosciamo molto bene la zona nonché il paese di Casoli ed i suoi abitanti, eravamo alla ricerca di un momento di preparazione/pausa e l'appartamento è stato l'ideale per il nostro scopo. È una tipida casetta di montagna ma rimodernata e tenuta davvero in modo impeccabile, sviluppata su 3 piani con una vista dalla finestra della camera matrimoniale mozzafiato! Tutti i servizi descritti erano presenti e la zona parcheggio comodissima(parcheggio lungo strada a 50metri dal centro). Inoltre ci tengo a precisare che pur essendo il dolce attesa di 8 mesi non ho avuto nessuna difficoltà di movimento! Torneremo sicurmante l'anno prossimo in 3, per chi volesse prendersi qualche giorno immersi nel verde di queste meravigliose terre direi soggiorno consigliatissimo!!!

Die Lage und insbesondere die Aussicht ist einzigartig. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und bietet viele verschiedene Sitz- und Liegemöglichleiten. Das Bett, die Matratze und die Kopfkissen sind hochwertig und bequem. Die Küche ist sehr groß, ist einfach ausgestattet und biete alles, um umfangreich kochen zu können. Das Haus ist nicht barrierefrei, sowohl im Haus, als auch um das Haus herum sind viele verwinkelte Stufen. Das WLAN ist sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Прекрасно жилище! Тишина и уют! Не се чудете, че няма климатик. Къщата е изолирана и с дебели стени. При температури от 35° не се нуждаехме от климатик. Нейни роднини живеят в съседната къща и помагат винаги! Има прекрасна градина със светулки и гекони!😁 Навсякъде има мрежи срещу насекоми. Пътят до жилището е с много завои, но е също така много красив. Само на шест километра от магистралата. На 20км от плажа. В близост(5-6км) има магазини. Бензиностанции на всеки ъгъл. Препоръчваме горещо. Обхватът на Водафон не е много добър, но в жилището има рутер. С две бани и две тоалентни! Чисто и подредено! Нашето семейство е много доволно! Препоръчвам горещо! Благодаря ти, Франческа! На твоите роднини също!

Clear and switable. Mark is a very hospitable guy. Beautiful surrounding nature. If you want to feel Italian soul and stile this is a prompt place.

Wir wurden von Marinella sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Sie hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben, was man in der Umgebung unternehmen kann – das war super hilfreich! Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht, die jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert hat. Wenn irgendetwas war, war Marinella sofort zur Stelle und hat sich liebevoll gekümmert. Wir hatten eine rundum tolle Zeit und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Klare Empfehlung!

We had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. The town of Carmignano is a great place to get away from the bustle of the city. Great spots to eat. The unit itself is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed! If taking the bus, please note that the 210 route does not go direct to Carmignano every time, and you will have to make transfers. Just look up the bus schedules online and they can tell you where to transfer.

A beautiful traditional village home. Incredible views of the surrounding mountains. A fantastic base if your are a walker looking to explore this region. Very quiet at night. Had a great nights sleep.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour . Anita est une hôte très attentionnée, le logement est situé dans un parc verdoyant magnifique au calme avec piscine à disposition, un vrai plus. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons ce logement. Le lit King size est très confortable. Localisation parfaite très proche de la ville historique de Lucca. Merci pour tout Anita. L'appartamento è facilissimo da raggiungere grazie alle indicazioni precisissime di Lorenzo , e una volta arrivati è bello scoprire che ci si trova esattamente nel centro di Camaiore dove si può trovare in un attimo tutto quello che serve per qualche giorno di assoluto relax e benessere . L'appartamento è nuovo, arredato con cura e pulitissimo . La cucina è fornita di tutto il necessario per sentirsi come a casa . Nel soggiorno ci sono interessanti libri da sfogliare e un televisore grandissimo per le serate tranquille dopo aver girato in zona tutto il giorno perché volendo si possono visitare a poca distanza le più belle località tra Pisa e la Versilia , e poi tornare alla deliziosa pace del paesino coi suoi mercati e i negozi tipici . Ci auguriamo di tornare , e poi Lorenzo è molto simpatico e disponibile .

It’s just not possible to accurately state in an Airbnb review how otherworldly this place is— this home and its location and community (Mony and The Top Bar!!!) were unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. We will D R E A M of coming back someday! We’ve been traveling Europe with our three children for the past three months and this was my favorite Airbnb out of all we’ve ever been to. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian village getaway — this is it. Please don’t miss your opportunity!

All was perfect! What I liked the most was the location. Close to the city center and the sea. You can arrive in some minutes by walk. Inside of the house was modern and clean. We enjoyed a lot!

Der Kontakt zu Gabriele war herzlich und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist hervorwagend und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lucca is such a beautiful, vibrant and historic place, and Leandro’s apartment certainly added to the amazing few days we had there. Leandro was always responsive where needed, with clear instructions as to how to find the apartment, and a very detailed guest book detailing the local restaurants and landmarks. The apartment itself is totally spotless, with modern furniture throughout. There is plenty of space as well as a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I fully recommend Leandro’s apartment, and if we are lucky enough to return to Lucca, we would have no hesitation to come back here.

Super place, huge, great location. Our family of 4 with two teenagers were very comfortable. It’s the attention to detail that really stands out and lets you know they care about their place and hospitality! Snacks, espresso, washing machine detergent, all you could need. Beautiful wood floors, perfectly clean. Easy check in directions with a short video showing you exactly where the lock box and doors are. Great stay for a biking family. They let us bring the bikes up so they were safe and 4 bikes fit easily even with the 14 stairs to bring them up.

Liliana ist eine liebevolle Gastgeberin und immer erreichbar. Sie antwortet schnell zurück und nimmt sich Zeit für uns. Die Wohnung und der Balkon ist groß und hat alles was es braucht. Ich habe mich sehr gefreut sie kennen zu lernen und würde auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen. Danke für alles :)

This place is a dream. Luciano is a fabulous host. Friendly and very helpful. Fully remodeled for being inside ancient think wall structure. Location is a historian’s dream. Shutters over all windows really close out the sound at night. New modern kitchen fully stocked. Great location with bedroom French door style windows opening to overlook the Anfiteatro. We spent most evenings sitting there with a glass of wine. Great restaurants there too. Had great meals at Old Charlie’s restaurant a number of times. Supermarket 5 min walk. Great local shopping, many piazzas with outdoor cafes. Train station about 15 minutes walk. 1.5 hour ride on train to Firenze, 30 minutes to Pisa, 2 hours by bus to Siena. Lucca is cooler than Firenze with a nice breeze in the afternoon. I am a painter so this is a great location. If the flight from California was not so long, I would come back every year. We Love it here and love Luciano.

An absolutely stunning apartment, located right in the centre of Old Lucca. Lucia was an amazing hostess, giving us loads of really useful information, and recommendations, all of which turned out to be spectacular. From sites to see, best times to go to avoid crowds, restaurants, places for breakfast. Probably one of the most helpful hosts we have experienced with AirBnB. The Duke apartment was wonderful, with everything provided, and with stunning views over Lucca to the mountains on the horizon. There were great restaurants and cafes within 3-5 minutes walk of the apartment, and the provision of 3 bikes was great to gently explore the city walls. All in all, we could not have been more pleased with the apartment, or Lucia (and Maurizio), who were great communicators, from booking through to leaving Lucca, even booking a taxi to the airport for us. Thank you Lucia for your hospitality and kindness.
