Family-friendly holiday rentals in Perth and Kinross

Gardeners Cottage sits in an absolutely beautiful location in Glen Lyon with stunning views down to Carn Gorm. It's a great spot for Munros - either climbing them or just looking out at them from the safety and warmth of the wood fired hot tub. The hot tub is easy to use and quick to heat (which we were thankful for in the -5° weather!). The cottage itself is clean and homely with great views out of every window and houses an extensive collection of books, DVDs and board games for those slow days. It's also a stonesthrow from a beautiful stretch of river and a waterfall is a short walk away. Huge thanks to Ainster (the keeper) for being on hand when needed!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and clean lodge. We had everything we needed and felt like home. Beautiful views and great hot tube. Wallace is a great host, he is friendly and fast responding. We definitely recommend this place and we will return soon. Thank you for everything!

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

Wunderschönes Bothy an toller, sehr ruhiger Lage. Die Entspannung im Whirlpool bei wunderbarer Aussicht war super. Das Bothy ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und die Handtücher extra flauschig. Laura ging auf Wünsche unkompliziert ein und half bei Fragen gerne weiter. Die Umgebung ist wunderbar um Tagesausflüge zu unternehmen. Wir hatten überaus schöne und erholsame Ferien und kommen gerne wieder.

Absolutely fantastic location, out of the way and really peaceful. Another Airbnb next door but was exactly as advertised and contact with other guests was minimal and no issue at all. Perfect for a Scottish getaway in the Trossachs. The accommodation was clean, tidy and so well decorated - a home from home! Alison and Matt were so accommodating. Really helpful and friendly. We even asked about bringing a BBQ and they kindly offered their own for ease. Would absolutely recommend the stay to family and friends! Thank you for a lovely stay, 5*

Lovely cottage - perfect size for four friends to catch up in! We loved how accessible it was for great activities and walks nearby, including Killin itself, which had plenty to do! The cottage was very comfy with great views of the river from the hot tub.

Had a lovely stay, very spacious and homely. Lovely quiet surrounding area with nice walks too.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in Maggies place. Cottage was exactly as described, hot tub was easy to use and absolutely amazing. A lovely and cosy little place perfect for a wee getaway. Local pub staff were also very friendly and food was yummy.

We stayed at Vivien's place with our two grandchildren and we all really enjoyed it. It's in a great location and is close to the centre of Aberfeldy, which is a lovely little town. The house is very well equipped and well-furnished and appears to have been recently re-carpeted. It's really cosy and comfortable and I'd be happy to recommend it. As a final note, the weather was much better than had been forecast and we were even able to sit outside in the sunshine!

Vanaf het begin een heel goed contact met Christine. Zo kregen we al voordat we naar onze eerste locatie gingen al de toegangscode voor het sleutelkluisje. Het gebouw waar de woning in gevestigd is, ziet er fantastisch uit. Is gelegen op een zeer rustig compount. Waar bij schemering regelmatig herten te spotten zijn. De woning bood voldoende ruimte voor 6 personen, en voelde heel gezellig aan. De inventaris was zeer uitgebreid. Je kwam aan niets te kort. Over het algemeen was alles schoon en netjes. Het enige negatieve was, dat de datum van naar huis gaan steeds dichterbij kwam. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf. En zouden andere mensen deze locatie graag aanbevelen.

LOVED our stay at Cruck Cottage. We were so comfy and contented in this charming space and am glad we selected this over one of the local hotels. I didn’t know I needed a conservatory until my stay. Morning coffee just tasted better there surrounded by the garden. Highly recommend the more local sights around Loch Tay and Ben Lawers, which we enjoyed more than our previous day in the Cairngorns that required a lot of driving and specific planning. Elaine is a spectacular host.

Our stay at Wemyss Castle Estate was wonderful! The accommodations were lovely and immaculate. Jamie was welcoming, friendly, and great at communicating. We especially enjoyed touring the Wemyss Caves and the beautiful gardens on the estate. Paulina checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and took care of our special requests (due to allergies). There was even a very nice welcome basket of "goodies" on our arrival. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wanted to explore the beauty of Fife and would love to be able to return!

The house felt very spacious, homely and peaceful. The sauna was fun and the kitchen was well equipped. There were a group of 9 of us and we enjoyed our stay in this house.

Steven was very welcoming and it was the best location to explore the area. Convenient paid parking lot behind the building and close to supermarket, restaurants and shopping. Would highly recommend this flat. For those with mobility issues it may be a challenge with the stairs.

We had a great stay at the Old Coach House! Lots of room for our 8 person group to spread out. Close to grocery store, restaurants, and lots to do. Very responsive and helpful hosts. Definitely recommend!

We had a brilliant stay at the Scottish Highland Lodge, with two adults, three boys aged 7, 8 and 10, and our two dogs. The location is a perfect distance between Kinloch Rannoch and Aberfeldy, and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting attractions in the local area. The Lodge overlooks a small loch, which is extremely peaceful and a source of much fun for our children and dogs. The accommodation is well-equipped and very comfortable, perfect for a large family. We very much hope to be back soon.

A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

This is a super place to stay . Modern and tasteful in a beautiful historic building, right on the riverside. It is super clean, very comfortable beds, plenty big soft towels . It feels like a home from home as Anthony has put so much thought and care into making the apartment so welcoming .

Als vriendengroep van 8 zijn we altijd op zoek naar nieuwe leuke plekken om te bezoeken. Dit jaar was de keuze gevallen op Schotland/de Hooglanden en Glasgow. Voor ons was het een ideale mix van hiken, op de fiets een stadstour doen, in verschillende restaurants de plaatselijke keuken te ervaren, op een eigen plek tot rust te komen en natuurlijk ook lekker wat biertjes te drinken. De Back Borland Cottage was een mooie, afgelegen plek met mooie uitzichten en van gemakken voorzien, zoals een heerlijk warm bubbelbad en een ruime gezamenlijke zitkamer met draaibare houtkachel. Dave heeft ons een duidelijke, beknopte uitleg gegeven over wat we konden verwachten en het verblijf is ons goed bevallen. Wat ons betreft een aanrader! Dank dat we jullie gasten konden zijn. We had a lovely two night stay - easy to find, clean cottage, wonderful grounds to explore, lots of great tips from Andrew in terms of things to look out for in the grounds, loved finding the wishing well! The cocker spaniel puppy was a lovely surprise bonus!

10/10 Stay! We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Sir Stuart’s house. Everything was perfect from start to finish—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable for the whole family. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going above and beyond by giving us a personal tour of Fingask, which was a real highlight of the trip. We all loved it so much that we’re already looking at dates to return once the weather warms up. Highly recommend!
