Tom and Kat were absolutely wonderful. They were accommodating with our needs and proactive in letting us know how to use the amenities (kayaks). Their home is decorated beautifully and seems to have everything needed! They had many thoughtful touches throughout the home, as well as gifting us such nice items in the kitchen for consumption. They really made us feel welcomed and tailored our stay to us. Thanks again so much !

This is our second stay in this house. When we are in the area we will continue to stay here. Cindy is great to work with. She is quick to respond and takes care of things quickly as well. We experienced a snow/ice storm while there and Ralph came out to pretreat the deck, stairs and walkway for our safety.

Mohawk Cabin sleeps 7, includes a fire ring and a picnic table, and is very close to the lake. Please note that camping at this cabin is "primitive"... no water, electricity, or bath facilities. A privy is available in this camping area. Potable water, toilets, and showers are available on the other side of the lake. The Mohawk area has its own shared dock and swimming area. Lake Heron is a hidden paradise in Perry County with 240 acres of woodland and a 10-acre lake with excellent fishing.
