Cottage holiday rentals in Perranporth

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage.The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Lovely cottage in a stunning location. Excellent hosting, nice welcome treat (thanks!). The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, we catered in and didn't eat out at all. The lounge is comfortable but sadly the weather was far too warm to justify lighting the log burner! Wifi was great, we streamed a film one evening without issue. The location is incredible, loads of walks directly from the door, including up to castle ruins just at the top of the hill. To be able to stomp up the hill to the prehistoric stones and watch the sun set over the sea, then stroll back down at dusk to sit in the hot tub and watch the stars come out, was truly magical.

Wow! What an incredible 6 days we had staying at Nicola’s place. It was for my partners 21st birthday and Nicola put up banners and balloons which was lovely of her. We both had the best time, it was both of our first time in Cornwall and we explored so much in the time we was there. Boscastle is an amazing place to stay as St Ives was just over an hour away, Marazion was an hour away, Newquay just under an hour. Even the local beaches and exploring Boscastle was so much fun. It really was a great location, the views, the sunsets/ sunrises everything truly was amazing and we will 100% be back in the future. Thank you so much for having us and as I say we thoroughly enjoyed our first time in Cornwall.

We loved our stay at bumblebee cottage. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the attention to detail and was very thankful for the welcome pack. The hot tub is private and a great size for relaxing. Tracy our host was very communicative, friendly and at hand for any questions. We will definitely be returning. Our children loved it that much they asked if we could move in.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Willow Barn! Willow Barn Airbnb was amazing! Gina and David were such fantastic hosts—they personally welcomed us and even prepared fresh scones, which was such a thoughtful touch. They took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The barn itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with all the essentials. I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Excellent stay! An easy drive to many of the beautiful and exciting corners of Cornwall. Technically there is a train track nearby, but we could barely hear it, even with the windows open in the bedrooms. A very well outfitted kitchen and spacious lounging area. We also had a B&B breakfast, which we hadn't expected. 10/10 would come back and stay again!

You cannot find a more beautiful and peaceful location for a few days rest within nature. Their homestead is so quiet apart from bird song. The cottage is very calm and comfortable with a beautiful log fire in the cooler evenings. The private garden and terrace you have has wonderful views and is ideal for eating alfresco plus a very roomy private car park. Bed is super comfortable with lovely high quality linen. I would not hesitate to stay again and the cheeky gorgeous Truffle Cockerpoo owners dog is very friendly and welcoming.

An absolutely beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. A cosy bedroom with a clever hidden kitchen. The bathroom was much larger than we expected and the shower was excellent. The star of the show is undoubtedly the outside space - the garden is a private and peaceful area, well laid out and adorned with pretty wildflowers. The outside copper bath is large and luxurious, a relaxing spot to watch the sunset (and cows!). We’d definitely recommend the cottage to anyone. Beautiful inside and out.

We loved our stay at the Little Forge. Sue was a superb host and gave us loads of great recommendations. We really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs etc as it meant we could have a lovely lazy morning after our first night. The annexe was exactly as described, extremely well appointed with everything we could need for our week long stay with our dog, including dishwasher and washing machine soaps, good selection of utensils and salt/pepper/oil. The courtyard garden is delightful suntrap and overall the location could not be more peaceful. We’d love to come back again.

Stunning cottage! Right in the heart of Charlestown, you couldn’t ask for a better location! Lots of pubs and restaurants in walking distance and supermarkets a quick drive up the road. We were able to leave the cottage and be on the coastal path straight away, a real bonus. The cottage itself was clean and had everything we need. It was the perfect size for us as a family of 4 with 2 dogs. We will keep the place in mind for a return visit.

Great stay - location was brilliant. Stones throw from the quayside where the kids spent many happy hours crabbing. Perfect for what we were looking for and a great base to explore both North and South shore Cornwall. Will miss the view out of the top bedroom so much. Thanks Nic for being so responsive during our trip.

What a special place. We stayed for 10 days and booked both cottages as our family were meeting up and we needed the extra space. It was perfect for us and well equipped for self catering on the nights we didn’t go out. If really is only 10 mins walk through a beautiful bit of woodland along a path to the coastal path and sea, and then walkable to Helford or Maenporth with coves you can swim in along the way. For me and my dog that’s perfect! Ailsa was very friendly and accommodating and very quick to respond to messages. I highly recommend as a coastal Cornish base and hope to return.

We had the best stay at Bodhi’s Beach house! We were sad to leave today! The property was excellent . It was comfortable, spacious, clean, cosy and in an excellent location. The garden was a perfect space to relax in the sun and for our dog to roam around. We loved our stay so much and will be rebooking in the future. Thanks

Great 1 bed cottage and really close for visiting Perrranporth for the beach or St Agnes for the surfing. St Ives is just 45 mins away so makes a great day out.

Lovely stay in Fraser and Melissa’s cottage. A great place to relax after a day exploring local beaches. Cosy, clean and all the amenities required.

We have just spent a week at Nampara Cottage - family of 4 and 2 large dogs. The cottage was perfect! Plenty of space to relax, large kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathroom. The beds were so comfy that most mornings it was a struggle to drag ourselves out of them. The location was great too. A very short walk into the town where there were some lovely pubs for food, drink and entertainment. Despite being out of season, there were plenty of shops still open. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you Kim for sharing your lovely cottage. We hope to be back again this year x

Second time staying at The Piggery and fantastic once again, a great place to stay.

This idiliic coastal cottage is so beautiful and a perfect romantic hide away. Nestled in the cliff and stones throw away from the Perranporth beach it’s quiet and tranquil. The cottage has original uneven walls and beams with a modern twist. Highly thought-out decoration and soft furnishings with a huge wet room, perfect open plan upstairs lounge/kitchen and quaint outside wild garden. It’s spotlessly clean and the hosts were amazing with their communication. Thank you so much for letting us experience your stunning cottage, we had the best weekend. Sarah and Lee Xx

We had a lovely stay! The house was beautiful and just as described and the host was very responsive. We stayed in February and the local shops and pubs (within comfortable walking distance) were shut which was a shame, but it was a close drive to beautiful beaches and a nice pub. All in all a wonderful stay!

If you are hesitating about booking Cliff Cottage in Portloe then please don’t even question it…just book it! By far the loveliest Air B n b we have had the privilege to stay in. Annie and Giovanni are perfect hosts. Charming, warm, always available and welcoming but never intrusive. Together they have created a little piece of heaven. The cottage is gorgeous and perfectly situated. The incomparable views, peace and tranquillity, creative interior design, attention to detail, thoughtful extras and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage combine to create something truly magical. They have literally thought of everything. We felt instantly at home. My husband spent most of his time staring out of the window enjoying the views and we loved spending time in the garden and enjoying the sound of the waves. Loads to do in the local area. Stunning coastal walks in either direction and the village of Portloe captured our hearts. We truly did not want to leave.

Jayne was an amazing host and her cottage was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and very cosy, we especially enjoyed the open fire where everything was provided for us to use it. The location was great and we enjoyed some local walks but within a short distance you can also drive to nearby beaches and towns. Would highly recommend!
