Paris is 2 hours by car (or 45 minutes by TGV from Arras). Cross circuit in Ternois 20 min.

We enjoyed our stay at Segolene's place very much. It was comfortable and the surroundings -- estate, pool, gym, sauna -- were very peaceful. The town surrounding the estate, as others have mentioned, does not have much going on. We went out to Arras (about 30 min. drive) to go out to eat one day. We enjoyed both the pool and sauna during our stay. Segolene's communication was great at check-in and during our stay. We had one mishap before we arrived where our booking was accidentally cancelled, apparently by Airbnb, and the communication there between Segolene's cohost and Airbnb Support was very unclear and confusing to us. But, all was solved as we were able to rebook on the phone with Airbnb. One other thing that did not work so well for us was the internet in the apartment - we needed to use our hotspot to stream movies and it would not be suitable for working if you needed to do so. But we had basic service otherwise.

The accommodation was clean, very functional and consistent with the description and photos given! It is a single-storey accommodation which makes it easier to stay with small children. The children also liked having access to the shared garden with a slide and swings! In short, a very good experience, we will come back if the wind brings us back to this corner :)
