Villa holiday rentals in Périgord

Venus pour visiter Périgueux et ses environs, nous avons été chouchoutés par Isabelle et Jean-Paul durant notre séjour. Le logement est idéalement situé, à 2 pas de la piste cyclable, et proche des commerces (7 min en vélo par la piste cyclable pour des produits venant directement de producteurs, pharmacie, boulangerie...). Le logement est simple, spacieux et agréable à vivre pour 2, dans un cadre arboré. Nos corps (épaules, dos, cou..) vous remercient pour la super séance de sophrologie que nous avons eu après quelques jours de vélo. Même si un incident personnel est venu nous perturber, nous sommes repartis sans contractures, et avec une envie de revenir dès que possible.

Super séjour entre amis. La maison, l’extérieur, les alentours, tout est sublime nous recommandons très fortement ce logement. Qui plus est l’hôte David a été très accueillant et amical. Rien à dire tout est parfait 👌🏽

This is the most beautiful AirBnB we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate, the pool was warm, the hot tub was clean and there were so many lovely touches on arrival, including a bottle of red and white wine and a little bunny rabbit for my little girl. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you can need, including a racelette machine, air fryer and a washer/tumble. The area is amazing, so close to Creon and Bordeaux, surrounded by the most beautiful vineyards- I can’t fault it! Arnaud was the perfect host, so friendly and responsive and helped us so much in the weeks leading up to our stay, contacting various golf courses and restaurants. He also facilitated our early check in at short notice - which was hugely appreciated. This place is an absolute must and we are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much Arnaud for an unforgettable holiday!

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans la maison d’Eleanor et Thomas. Elle est magnifique, très bien entretenue, et décorée avec goût. Tout a été pensé dans les moindres détails pour que l’on se sente bien dès l’arrivée. Rien ne manque, tout est parfaitement équipé. Eleanor et Thomas sont des hôtes attentionnés et très réactifs. Leur accueil chaleureux et leur disponibilité ont rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons cette adresse les yeux fermés et espérons avoir l’occasion d’y revenir bientôt !

Beautiful home and grounds! Well equipped with all necessary supplies. Communication with Caroline was excellent! Always with a quick response to questions and even worked out a birthday cake and wine for our traveling friend. Nice outside seating area to enjoy by the pool. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. The house and amenities were great and all the hosts were very helpful. The outside facilities were incredible and we loved the location. We didn’t know if the reviews could live up to the hype but the property actually surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be going back. Everyone we met was lovely and very helpful. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and the restaurant Doma which is only 5 mins drive away was brilliant. Thank you for an amazing experience - it will be remembered!

We loved this stylish, extremely well appointed forest hideaway, where all our needs had been anticipated and catered for. The setting is simply spectacular with far reaching views to one side, and huge oak and maritime pine trees to the others. The photos on the listing don’t really do it justice. The property is very private, very peaceful and so relaxing. Deer wandered around at dusk, and the birdlife is just incredible. Incredible! The property is also very well located, within 5 minutes drive of the A89 and roughly midway between Bergerac, Perigueux and the gastronomic delights of the Perigord. We would love to go back. Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

Nous avons passé un long weekend chez Philip. Nous étions 4 couples d'amis et 9 enfants. La maison était très confortable et bien équipée, avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, et des jeux pour les enfants. Le jardin est immense et très joli, et nous avons même pu profiter de la grande piscine! Les enfants étaient ravis de dormir ensemble dans le dortoir, qui est très grand. Il y a de nombreuses activités à faire dans les alentours, et la maison est très paisible. Philip s'est montré flexible sur les horaires de départ et d'arrivée, ce qui a grandement facilité notre organisation. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent weekend et nous recommandons!

Wonderful home in the small charming town of Monségur. Host was easy to communicate with and attentive. Nice kitchen allowing us to cook one evening. Home exactly as described.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.

Spectacular stay at Le Cheval Blanc! We loved our week at this large but charming house in the countryside. Beautiful, clean and cozy bedrooms! Large comfortable living room area with a wood stove that came in handy in the unusually cool September. The kitchen-wow. The best appointed kitchen we have ever encountered! And then, there are the hosts that went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Delicious welcome meal and a well stocked fridge to get us started. Bill and Jill were friendly and very helpful. Walks in the area possible. Many villages to visit within an hour or two. It was an amazing week. You should stay at Le Cheval Blanc!

Nous avons passé 3 merveilleux jours entre amies dans ce magnifique domaine ! Frédérique est un hôte disponible, à l’écoute et d’une grande gentillesse. Le manoir est parfait pour se ressourcer, profiter du parc et de la piscine en toute tranquillité. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

fantastic place.. kids 11,9,5 loved trampoline, ropes course, swing and heated pool (which is alarmed so provided peace of mind) steep stairs to 2 bedrooms on lower floor where older kids slept. 5yr old and us slept in two bedrooms on ground floor with kitchen, lounge, dining etc. BBQs every day by pool. very private yet 5 min bike ride into village (although hill on way back - our 5 year old managed it but had to walk). great sports park in town with pump track, football pitches, tennis courts, basketball and crazy golf (all free but take equipment) and pop up bar! kids insisted on going back daily! good kid friendly pizza restaurant, pharmacy, bank, post office, minimarket amazing boulangerie, market with local produce on Mondays all in town. recommend flat traffic free cycle ride from Le Bugue to Limeuil (6km) on velo verte along valzere river (fab market on Tuesday in le Bugue). also amazing day kayaking down Dordogne (aquafun in limeuil) host v responsive and place immacate

A superb house in quiet countryside on the edge of a small village. The pool is fantastic and was necessary in the heat to cool down. The house ha everything and more than you need for a comfortable time, very well equipped and everything worked. The hosts were great at communicating and it was nice to meet Mireielle who showed us round the house and how everything worked. The village has a great little restaurant that serves great food at a great price and were very accommodating to us when we arrived very late in their service hours. All round a fantastic house and a great stay. Thanks

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette fabuleuse demeure équipée de tout ce dont on pouvait rêver pour passer d'agréables moments entre amis ou en famille : une superbe et grande piscine, plusieurs terrasses, et même un sauna. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le charme bucolique du parc et le chant des oiseaux au petit matin. Un grand merci pour nous avoir partagé ce petit coin de paradis qui nous donne déjà envie de revenir. Mention spéciale à l'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes qui ont été adorables !

Chateau Des Reves exceeded our expectations in every way! Nestled in the heart of a stunning vineyard, this 2-story retreat offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The backyard's swimming pool and breathtaking views of the grapevines were absolute heaven. The thoughtful gesture of placing a complimentary wine bottle added a lovely personal touch. Located just 15 minutes from Libourne's busy streets, Chateau Des Reves provided the ideal balance of peace and accessibility. Prompt Responsiveness of the host was another plus point. This is a place I would recommend to all holidayers seeking peace and tranquility. May be the price could be a tad lower to make it even more attractive. Overall a great experience.

What a fabulous find in the peaceful and beautiful area of Bouzic. A really well appointed home with everything you need for a great stay. The home is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is really well appointed with everything you need for a family or couples stay. Pool side is lovely. A great space to relax overlooking the well maintained garden and countryside. Amanda was a great host. Always responsive to questions and available when needed. Overall one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in. The photos do not do the home justice. Thanks again Amanda.
