Holiday rentals with a kayak in Périgord

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful with fantastic views. The rooms are all large and extremely comfortable. We stayed as a large group and the property had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space for us to socialise in. Our real stand out was how helpful Inés was during our stay. She was always on hand for any questions and couldn’t have been more helpful and flexible for us. Easily the best host we’ve had on Airbnb!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Sandrine & Stephan's beautiful cottage. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed, having everything we needed for a very relaxing stay. It is in a quiet location set above Bugues, with stunning views. Sandrine was very friendly and gave us lots of advice and tips for visiting places in the area which was really appreciated. They also showed us their beautiful garden which was a really nice touch. We had a problem with the washing machine and Sandrine and Stephan immediately stepped in to sort it out and fitted a new one the next door which we really appreciated. Overall a lovely stay in fabulous accommodation. Thank you.

sabine et Mélanie sont des hôtes très agréables et réactives, la maison est idéalement placée. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter des espaces extérieurs car la météo n'était pas avec nous, dommage ! je recommande cet endroit aux couples sans enfants et sans personnes âgées. Petit point négatif , les marches :-( Malgré les trombes d'eau, nous avons passé une excellente semaine , tellement de choses à faire et a voir.

Un endroit tout simplement magnifique, avec en plus la gentillesse et l’accueil chaleureux de Simon ! Les gîtes sont bien séparés les uns des autres, mais on se croise avec plaisir dans la très jolie cour commune ou autour de la piscine. La situation idyllique au bord du Lot et les kayak à disposition ajoutent encore au charme du lieu ! Un endroit parfait pour déconnecter et passer de très bonnes vacances !

Perfect house for a large extended family group. Cannot say enough about how amazing this house is. Beautiful outdoor and indoor space including tables large enough for big groups to dine. Kitchen very well equipped. Utility room with pool towels, washing machine etc. We had some excellent weather and spent lots of time around the pool. Outdoor space including pool area truly excellent with inflatables, sun chairs, patio, gardens etc. Enough bedrooms for many guests, quiet, good Aircon if needed, versatile accomodation. The games room was a big hit on a rainy day! Food: All Monsegur- Salle a Manger excellent dinner for large groups. Chocolatine - local amazing bakery Local market (Friday AM) for local quality produce Activities - The Naked Vingeron; wine tasting and tour of the vineyard (English) Amanda and David were excellent hosts. Also Des-chênes-toi Aventure Adventure Park which is 5 mins drive and absolutely incredible! Overall such a special stay, thank you!

Cette maison est charmante. Le coin est magnifique. Nous avons fait de très belles randos. Daan est sympathique et arrangeant au niveau des horaires.

Since I have arrived I felt home, they are very hospitable and kind. From the first few days they recommended where I can go for walks and nearest town for shopping. I had chosen this place to do a long water-fast, initially I had aimed for 14 days which later I extended to 21 days. During this time they were very understanding and gave me plenty of space since they knew I feel weak & tires at times, but at the same time we had enough daily conversation, making sure am all-right. Eloise is spiritual and very easy person to talk to, since she is a good listener and intuitive, since I was going deeper into my fast I would share with her my thoughts in a spiritual context and I liked the fact she engaged authentically.

Nous avons passé un délicieux séjour chez Pascale. Le logement correspondait parfaitement à la description et l’accueil était très chaleureux. Le logement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et l’environnement très calme. La région est magnifique et offre un formidable potentiel de visites. Chez Pascale nous avons profité du bain nordique très agréable. Et notre hôte avait toujours de charmantes attentions !

Un logement en bord de Charente bourré de charme avec un accès à l'eau bien utile en période de forte chaleur. La maison est très agréable et bien équipée. Les chambres spacieuses sont grandes et lumineuses avec une bonne literie. La cuisine est bien équipée (il ne manquait que des verres à vin que nous n'avons pas trouvés et quelques couverts supplémentaires seraient appréciables). John a par ailleurs envoyé des messages bienveillants, accueillants et plein de bons conseils. L'emplacement est très bien pour visiter. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

We had an wonderful time. The house was great and the garden is huge with an orchard in the next field which we could access. It is an absolutely beautiful place. We were made to feel very at home by Laetitia, Thierry and family (they were in the main house for some days of our stay and the rest of the time we were alone on the vast property). They were extremely generous about letting us use games and canoes etc and could not have been more welcoming to us. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful. The river is nearby and there are lots of possible areas for swimming as well as walking. We really enjoyed visits to Angouleme and Cognac and other pretty villages. Most of all we enjoyed sitting in the garden reading and relaxing and going running in small largely deserted roads around the house. It was a really lovely holiday and I would definitely recommend this highly and fully hope to go back again.

Très bon accueille ! Emilie et son mari son très compréhensif et flexibles :) Discrets mais toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous avons passé un très bon moment malgré un temps d’hiver ❄️ Je recommande ! Attention beaucoup de lits simples mais possibilité de les coller :)

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! Les gîtes, la cour et la piscine sont très agréables. L'hôte est très sympathique.

A stunning location and a great place to relax with family and friends. Peaceful river running behind the house that can be explored with boats and kayaks, very close to the town center- 15 mins by bike. Bicycles well maintained. Ron was a friendly host with great recommendations for local markets.

Maison bien équipée avec piscine commune. Proche des principaux intérêts touristiques. L'ajout d'un climatiseur mobile dans une chambre est une bonne idée. Il faut payer 30€ pour le menage qu'on doit faire nous mêmes ! Sinon l'endroit nous a plu et nous reviendrons.

Merci a Anthony et son épouse pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille. La cabanne est très bien équipée, entourée d'animaux près d'un lac avec beaucoup d'équipements. Le plus bien-sûr la piscine privée et le jacuzzi 😍😍😍. Bonne continuation a vous

Un cadre de rêve, un logement merveilleux, des équipements de très grande qualité et dans un état de propreté impeccable et un accueil plus qu'attentionné... et en plus, tout a été pensé et façonné-maison par les propriétaires. Tout était parfait, et même plus que ça. On recommande très très chaudement pour qui voudrait passer un séjour mémorable.

Amoureux de la Nature ; ce lieu est pour nous . Harmonie gracile entre la Nature et les touches humaines. Lieu de sérénité rare. Les photos de l’annonce ne parviennent pas à restituer l’atmosphère Le chant des oiseaux, l’expression joueuse des canards et des poules égayent l’ouïe. En cette saison les genêts embaument L’eau détend Confort intérieur impeccable -la literie est très souple À bientôt sûrement

This place is really beautiful as it shows in the pictures. What I didn’t expect was how well the cabin was built. It had the state of the art appliances and rain shower. We slept really well with those blackout curtains and shades and the great mattress. Stephanie was very attentive and gave us a lot of recommendations. It’s a perfect place if you want privacy and serenity as well as comfort.
