Holiday rentals with a patio in Penrith

we had an amazing stay. the hosts were brilliant with directions, local things to do. we were staying for a wedding close by. They offered us a lift to save a taxi fare ( not needed but very much appreciated) pointed us in the direction of the river so my wife could go for a wild swim. the dogs are great and came with us whilst we were outside and super friendly. the accommodation was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return for another peaceful stay in Northumberland. we left super early to go collect the kids after the wedding and we were given bacon rolls in lovely cheese bread bun. so nice and got us through the long drive. 10/10 stay thank you so much for hosting us. Just had an incredible weekend break at Jenny's gorgeous accommodation. I have seen other reviews saying that the photos and description doesn't do this place justice and I totally agree. The lodge had everything we needed, was perfectly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony are breathtaking!! The location is so picturesque, peaceful and clean and extremely close to Keswick. We took full advantage of the gym, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, which was a brilliant way to start/finish the day. Also highly recommend the White Horse pub, where I have eaten the best chicken burger ever! Jenny, thank you for the kind and thoughtful treats. We highly recommend your place to anyone!! xxx

We booked this accom very last minute(3hrs before we checked in), and turned out to be a great choice. Having never heard of Whitbarrow Village we did not know what to expect and was very pleased to find this apartment was part of a larger holiday village complex. The apartment was very well kitted out and had all mod cons you would want, some cleaning products and tea/coffee bits,plus a nice outdoor seating area and close access to the pool and games areas. The main reception building was very clean and the pool facilities were fantastic as well as the kids games area & cinema room (9yr old with us). Only a 15 min drive to Keswick or Penrith made it a great location just off the A66 but so peaceful & quiet. Friendly on-site staff and well maintained garden areas. Overall a great little find and will definetly stay at Whitbarrow Village again.

Great place clean and quiet. Only let down was not loads around, Penrith only a 15-20 min drive though!

Ideal location for a short stay. Well situated in rural setting close to a number of country routes. Plenty of information available within for local activities.

It was the perfect place for our trip. My friend, my dog and I felt at home in this cottage. There was a lot nice about it but there are some things that are more important to me so il mention those. The place was spotless, the owners made an effort to have small things like biscuits and milk to make our stay more comfortable, shower pressure was fantastic and the beds were really comfortable. The place is quiet so you get a good sleep to get ready for your hikes. Loved all the touristy info in the place which we really used! It was lovely to be able to bring our doggy! 🐶🐾🐾. Beautiful cottage in a peaceful quiet setting. The perfect place to go, disconnect from everyday life and enjoy nature. The home had everything that you need and everything is as pictured and described. My family and I loved staying here.

We have had a lovely stay at the boathouse which was just amazing! The boat house its self is beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! It is very well equipt, plenty of towels, blankets and even robes. We loved the hot tub with views over the lake. The location of the boathouse was just perfect for us and the views were stunning! We took our own paddle boards and was so happy to be able to launch straight from the jetty to explore the lake. My daughter also loved feeding the ducks from the jetty. We have had a busy few days on local bike trails, hikes, paddle boarding, boating and having some lovely meals out in beautiful Bowness, but always looked forward to returning to the boathouse! We will definitely be returning! Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at The Barn. We stopped off here for a couple of days on our way to Scotland and it was the perfect location. Pat and Neil really looked after us and the accommodation was excellent in every way. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic two nights stay at this place and the host Alison was easy to contact and happy to help with instructions for check in and even had the place ready a little earlier for us to check in as this was made possible on the day of arrival. Overall a fantastic stay and the location was perfect for all the local bars and restaurants in the area being only a short five minute walk from Bowness beach waterfront.

Perfect stay for our recent trip to the Lake District for a charity walk. Beautiful cottage with everything we could need and lots of communication from the host to make sure the stay and check in was smooth! Lovely extras which were very appreciated the local raw milk and butter were delicious Thank you so much

This home was a lovely place to stay for the week. It was a great base while we explored the lake district from Scarfall Pike, to the many lakes for swimming and paddleboarding; and from the Gingerbread in Grasmere, to the caves of Rydal. The upside-down house was beautifully surrounded by rose bushes, lavender and an array of beautiful flowers and plants in the garden. The kitchen and bathroom had all the essentials, and were clean and tidy. The lounge and garden were lovely to relax in. The beds were comfy, and the blackout curtains were an added bonus for a good night's sleep. Upon our exit, we were greeted by Linda, who very kindly asked how everything was. Thank you Linda and Andrew for a lovely home to enjoy on such a wonderful holiday.

The flat was lovely, beautifully kitted out and with some interesting lighting features! There was lots of space inside. We appreciated being able to stay a bit longer before checking out so we could have a planned zoom meeting. Thank you for being accommodating.

Where do I begin? This place was amazing. Lovely owners, very clean accommodation, and probably the cosiest place we have had the pleasure of staying in. We wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely town, beautiful walks on the doorstep, plenty of food options, Mary gave great instructions and recommendations and the apartment was just as it is in the photographs, everything worked and well stocked kitchen. The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

This was our first Air BnB stay! And what a great firat experiance for us 😃 Perfect location walking distance to everything we needed. The place was spotless. Comfy beds, great shower, it had everything we needed. Great little apartment and the kids had a great time.
