Hotel holiday rentals in Peniche

Claire, Duncan are wonderful hosts, very careful and sociable. No wonder that they always attract nice people to their camp :) The best place to stay for doing a group surfing. Especially if you're a beginner and need the lessons. A moderate size of the group allows to pay enough attention to each person, contrary to those huge surf camps that Peniche is full of.

Superb!! The lady was super nice, the room was clean and the location was amazing. The view from The terrace was great. Very happy with this place!

Staying in the Maverick guesthouse was a unique experience. Dinis, Julia, Andrea, Daniel & Chiara gave us a warm welcome & made us feel "at home" during the whole stay. Would recommend the Maverick to surf lovers, families with children who like to (learn to) surf & people enjoing the beach while watching the surfers.

If I could give it 6-Stars, I would. Seriously, this is a fantastic property with oodles of history and unimaginably unique accoutrements. Plus, the breakfast selections were local and high quality. We really can’t say enough about the time João spent to orient us, inform us about his ancestral home, and attentively meet our every need. We loved the bedroom, bathroom, breakfast, location and flexibility. Kudos. Now I wish we had booked a few more nights!

We had a great stay. Suzana was really helpful and as were travelling with two 6 week old babies she set up a cot, changing area and bath for us. It made travelling with babies much easier and made the stay even more enjoyable.

I am not a very hostel-guy, usually enjoying privacy, but this was one of the best stays overall. The hosts are very helpful, friendly and responsive. If you want to not be bothered by organizing surfing trips - host takes every day to the beach with best waves for the day. People who are staying were also incredible. Overall was an amazing experience. P.S. expect some direct British humor, which I enjoyed quite a bit

We had a wonderful time here, the team and guests were super friendly and the accommodation and activities were perfect ! Having the surf shop directly at the house also made our whole experience better since it was super easy for classes or renting boards. The location is 20min away from Peniche but offers a lot of activities so you can either chill at home or go explore around Peniche. Highly recommend !

We discovered The Maverick by accident and very last-minute... but now we definitely want to go back!!! The house is beautifully located and furnished with great style and attention to detail. Julia and Denisz were great hosts, too! They organised surf lessons for us and the teacher, Tiago, was definitely the best we've seen in the few times we tried surfing. Two thumbs up for The Maverick and its team!

Très bien. Bon rapport qualité prix pour notre famille de 5. Le 25 décembre il n'y avait pas de restaurant ouvert à proximité et nous étions contents de pouvoir nous faire à manger dans la cuisine commune. Les 3 petits points négatifs : la luminosité de la climatisation au dessus du lit la nuit, le rideau de douche qui vient se coller à nous si on le met en place (on a fini par ne plus le mettre) et le mélangeur de la douche qui n'est pas pratique pour trouver et garder la bonne température Les lits superposés avec rideaux sont très bien. Le couchage double grand et confortable Nous avons également apprécié la nature aux alentours, notamment à Peniche.

Really nice, comfortable bed. The co-working space is quiet and spacious. Restaurant also very tasty and affordable.

J’ai passé un agréable séjour,le lieu et les entourages est effectivement se que on voit sur les photos. Accueil très agréable et réactif les activités proposés son très bien accompagné.

Beautiful place, we felt like at home and we had the best welcome from "stone". Simão was helpful, friendly and very warm. Definitely if we came back to Peniche, which we loved, we would stay in the same house.

Comodo alloggio in centro a Peniche. Non è troppo lontano da spiagge, porto e supermercati. Il bagno in camera era pulito ma lo scarico emanava un cattivo odore. La cucina era pulita e abbastanza attrezzata, gli spazi comuni comodi e spaziosi.

A estadia foi ótima e o Simão foi bem solícito. Recomendo muito.

Had a amazing stay for 3 weeks in Bruno’s Surfhouse. It’s in the middle of Baleals surfer paradise, you can easily walk to several Surfspots. Bruno is always available in case you have any questions and the volunteers are always around in the house to help you and make the best out of your stay. It’s a small and social place. Thank you so much to the whole team! I will definitely come back :-)

Tuve una estancia de 2 meses en la casa de Elaine y fue genial. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la playa, Ferrel, Baleal y supermercados, lo que hace que todo sea muy accesible. Elaine fue muy amable y atenta. La casa es muy agradable, decorada con detalles bonitos como los cuadros en cada habitación. Me encantó la sala para yoga o ejercicio, con balcón para disfrutar del sol o tomar un café. Ten en cuenta que Baleal es húmedo, por lo que puede hacer algo de frío por las noches. En cuanto al colchón, lo encontré un poco duro para mi gusto, pero esto puede variar según la persona. Como sugerencia, para estancias largas sería ideal mejorar algunos utensilios de cocina, como los sartenes y las tablas de cortar, que estaban un poco viejos. En general, una estancia excelente y recomendaría sin duda esta casa.

We had a great time in Baleal! The apartment was beautifully furnished, and the storage for surfboards and wetsuits was really practical. The hosts Elaine and Gigi were very attentive and responsive, addressing our requests really quick. The location is about a 15-20 min walk from the beaches, but one can easily rent bikes with board racks in Baleal and then it’s perfect. All in all, it was a nice experience that met our expectations!

The place and our stay was very enjoyable. Our room and bathroom was neat, clean and spacious with everything we needed. The shared common areas and kitchen are also very pretty and quite calm too. Sometimes other guests are in the kitchen at the same time as you but its big enough for several people to cook and they were all very nice so it was fun to chat with them and our host Lucas. If you dont have a car its nice to rent some bikes in the villige nearby so you dont have to walk too long. We got a whole selfmade «tour guide» with amazing recommendations, which was extremely helpfull for us. Overall our stay there was very nice and we would definitely recommend it!

De BnB van Michelle is ruim en het voelt als een groot huis. De keuken heeft alles wat het nodig heeft en het was heerlijk om in de ochtend of avond even in de tuin langs het zwembad te zitten
