Holiday rentals with lake access in Paynesville

What an amazing house! Just spend 5 wonderful nights here with family, and it was the perfect home away from home, comfortably accommodating eight of us (four adults and four children). The games room was a massive hit with the kids, as were the hot tub and fire pit. A short walk to the beach, and beautiful views out over the lake. The birds taking flight over the lake at sunset was just gorgeous! And to top it off - Keith was the perfect host, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay! Lan provided lots of tea, coffee and water for us. Bedding was great, views stunning. Lots of firewood for the fireplace as well, great cooking amenities. Great for a family stay or a weekend away

An ideally located cottage perfect for a coastal getaway with close access to Main Street and across the road from the water. The cottage itself is beautifully renovated and well set up for short and longer holidays. I would definitely recommend it!

The showers and comfy beds were a highlight. We enjoyed walking down and around the billabong. What a lovely spot. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.

What a breathtaking view!! My family and I (group of 6 with 2 young children) had such an enjoyable stay at Karen’s. You can see panorama view of lake from two out of three rooms and view from balcony is just stunning. Clean and functional kitchen, comfortable couch and beautiful lounge room and beautifully set up bedrooms, not to mention clean bathrooms. There are two car parking space. Karen is a great, caring and responsive host. Highly recommend the stay, we sure hope to be back when we’re in the area again next. Thank you Karen :)

We absolutely loved the place! Was very warm and cozy for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. The open fire was awesome and there was wood there to use. The homemade bread was a delicious treat with our morning bacon and eggs! Beds were very comfy and just a short stroll to the town centre and pub.

Wonderful location overlooking the water. Picturesque easy walk into township. Property was in great condition and well maintained. Very enjoyable stay.

Lovely holiday house overlooking the sea. Very quiet and peaceful location with lots of birds and wildlife. The house was big and well equipped. The host Angela was very responsive and helpful. Everything worked and there were lots of different areas inside and out to relax in. Walking distance to the beach and lake, and also good food at the pub and excellent coffee at The General store. Beautiful area very close to Lakes Entrance for fishing and shopping. Lots of walks and jetties on Lake Tyers. We caught a lot of fish including snapper and salmon in the ocean. Great location for a relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend!

This has honestly been my favourite Air bnb I have ever stayed at! Everything about the stay was perfect! Location was magical, Catherine is a beautiful human with a magical soul! Honestly was perfect! And we will 100% be coming back! We also kept extending our stay we didn’t want to leave!

Really great place to stay especially if you have a boat. Walks around the arm are easy and you meet lots of friendly locals.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this very comfortable apartment. It is in peaceful and tranquil setting in amongst the trees. The apartment was spotless and the kitchen is well equiped. It is easy for travelling into Lakes Entrance, Gippsland Lakes and into nearby Metung. A beautiful place. We would recommend this accommodation.

Caroline's space was exactly as advertised, if not better. The sunset views are spectacular. Despite being on the upper floor, it felt like our own space. The pillow choices were fantastic. Caroline was responsive to the single issue that we had, where we tripped the breaker by accident and got it resolved within minutes. Thankyou again!

A lovely place, close to shops and very comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal.

What a quaint beautiful spot. The cottage was clean and comfortable with an electric blanket which was very welcome in the cold weather. The chickens welcomed us but we missed seeing the possums! Highly recommended.

Great little place, clean & tidy. A stones throw from the water. Easy walk for the kids with the SUP and fishing rods. Unfortunately we had to depart early for family reasons but would definitely go back.

The most dog friendly accomodation we have ever stayed at - dog beds, bowls and even toys provided! Fabulous block, pretty and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the back area with chiminea fire pit... perfect spot to relax in the evenings. Coffee machine was also fab! The generous gift basket with wine and both human and doggie treats was a lovely welcoming surprise. Loved our stay!

“Skye Cottage” is a quiet little place close to nearby attractions and amenities yet detached from everything. The hosts are friendly and responsive. We had a nice time at “Skye Cottage”. It’s a fenced property if you are bringing your pets with you. The patio area has great views overlooking the little lake and camp grounds. All in all 10/10.

We stayed at Sandycove for 2 days and 3 nights. The weather was gloomy and rainy but the best part was we could enjoy the stunning views from inside the house hence it was really worth booking this place. We loved the location as the beach was just a minutes walk from the house. Overall it was an excellent experience. Would highly recommend Sandycove.

We had a very enjoyable few days at McMillans. The listing is as described. Staff friendly and helpful, gave us s late checkout. We enjoyed the sauna and other amenities.
