Villa holiday rentals in Paynes Bay

We just returned from 6 absolutely gorgeous, sun-soaked days at Villa Sunkiss and we’re already dreaming about going back. From the moment we arrived, the villa took our breath away. Every room was thoughtfully curated with an elegant, beachy Caribbean vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed and at home. The kitchen was a dream—fully equipped and just perfect. But the real magic was the beautifully maintained, super comfortable outdoor space with jaw-dropping views of the water from every angle. The only tiny downside was that the sea wall stairs had been taken out by a hurricane last year, so direct swimming access from the property wasn’t possible. The location overall couldn’t be better—just steps to the lively St. Lawrence Gap and despite being close to the action, the neighborhood felt peaceful, safe, and super friendly. Cathy our host was fantastic and always available by text. This was the kind of stay that sticks with you long after you leave and we can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful two-week stay at the villa. It is perfectly situated, only a few minutes walk to the beach and bars/restaurants - but tucked away on a residential street so it’s quiet (aside from the cockerel in the morning!). The air con was very effective. The place was spotless, and the host was very responsive to any queries. 10/10 would recommend! If you stay here be sure to take the short cut through the back garden gate to Park Cafe for an excellent coffee and breakfast!

Great 7 days- no complaints. Kids enjoyed the private and communal pools. Very responsive host and property manager. So, very pleasant stay overall.

An absolutely perfect stay. Will definitely be returning to The Pink House! Check In: Seamless. Sent lockbox code before check-in time, opened to access key. The house: clean, organized, nice and bright. You will feel safe and secure. The upstairs bedroom and patio were fantastic. Real King bed was comfortable. Great A/C. Comfy hotel-style white bed sheets. Lots of closet space. Ensuite bathroom is bright and clean. Shower very nice. Kitchen has everything you need. It works. Sitting room is cozy enough. Back deck and plunge pool are the stars of the show. Indeed they were as amazing as they look! Spent much of our trip using it, sunny most of the day. Beach, while coral-y, does the trick! Nice sandy beaches to enjoy nearby. Barry’s place was everything we hoped for and more. The house is spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook like you’re at home. Kyle was a superstar host; friendly, incredibly communicative, and always one step ahead of our needs. Naz was equally awesome, greeting us with local tips that made our stay even better. And Barry himself was a breeze to coordinate with from the first message to checkout; fast replies and genuine care throughout. We can’t recommend Barry’s place enough!

Quiet, beautiful spot on the south end of the island. Great, private view of the beach and mangroves from sprawling gardens. Occasional monkey visitors. Practical kitchen with needed equipment. Good ac in bedrooms. Giant sliding door for the main room. Strong WiFi in office and most of house and immediate deck (occasionally unstable but think that’s island issue). 15 min to grocery store. Most higher end restaurants and resort beaches on northwest coast 30 min+. Short walk down to beach - rough not swimmable but beautiful. Host was the most helpful we’ve ever had with Airbnb. Helped with all kinds of activity / reservations (for a nominal fee).

My daughter & I greatly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s airbnd. We loved the flowers, monkeys, and the peaceful atmosphere. Peter is a wonderful host. He had a driver pick us up from the airport. We gave him a grocery list and he bought our initial items which made it much easier for us (of course we reimbursed him). Then he made our first dinner for us and answered all our questions. We loved the movie nights- we watched movies sitting in an old pickup with movie projected on wall. He even made us popcorn. The best part was the pool onsite available for the other guests in the compound.

Absolutely Stunning Stay! This home was everything we hoped for and more! A beautiful contemporary house right on the ocean, offering breathtaking views and the soothing sound of the waves. The property is incredibly spacious, with a large, manicured yard and gardens that add to the serene and peaceful atmosphere. The pool was fantastic, and the entire place was spotless—super clean and tidy. The nights were magical, with a stunning night sky and the peaceful ambiance of the ocean. It’s a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility, beauty, and comfort. One thing to note—it’s best to have your own transportation to fully enjoy the area. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Wonderful place right on the water. Even more beautiful than the pictures show. The chef was absolutely amazing. The food she prepared was amazing! If you’re looking for a nice getaway to get a real taste of Barbados, I would highly recommend this place. If you’re renting a car, be advised that parking is a little tight.

I stayed with seven of my students and my colleague and it was perfect. We loved walking to the reef to do marine biology, going on the roof to star gaze and do math lessons, and the pool for the kids to unwind. I loved that the doors locked automatically so I didn’t have to worry about the kids each needing a key or forgetting to lock the doors. There was an area for us to gather as a group and the kitchen was large so more than one person could cook. Highly recommended

Helen’s place was absolutely beautiful and serene—exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The lush gardens were stunning, the pool was perfect for cooling off, and to top it all off, we had playful monkeys hanging out nearby, which made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in Barbados.

Beautiful villa! Spent a few days here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 28th birthday and it was everything we could’ve imagined! The view is amazing, barbados is such a lovely place. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Thank you for helping me put together a personal chef for the birthday girl! The villa was so amazing we didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

This spacious 4 bed villa set in a beautiful location is in the perfect place to relax! Conveniently situated near the large resort swimming pool and gym. Great view over the perfectly manicured golf course with tiny birds and monkeys to watch. Hospitality was faultless and couldn't have done enough for us. Batteries recharged, just what we all needed. Annabelle's is an absolutely unique property, and we feel so privileged to have stayed there. Fraser was a wonderful host, so responsive and full of helpful recommendations and suggestions. the very few teething issues were sorted by him during our stay, with the help of Neville, the property manager. Fraser and his team went above and beyond in their efforts to make our stay as stress free as possible, arranging car hire and airport pick ups. The location is stunning. Words are not enough to express the views, the beaches and the sunsets! we have never, and will never again stay anywhere quite as spectacular. It is worth remembering that Anabelle's is a traditional Bajan house. There is no air-con, and the sea is noisy at night. You will be visited by the local bugs, so pack repellent and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper; but when you wake up in the morning and throw open the shutters- it will all be forgotten! If you’re looking for a private quiet spacious space to relax, unwind and rest then Ridge View is perfect. Everything is just as described- From the view on the back veranda to bathing by the pool, doing our laundry under the sun, we had everything we needed and really felt at home and at peace. Mauva, who manages the villa, was always available and checked we were ok from time to time. The air fryer really came in handy too, but if you don’t feel like cooking there’s a place called the ocho ríos bullpen about 10min drive away- we LOVED their take on fish and chips! Would defo recommend and would defo stay here again. Thank you so much Sylvia & Mauva

The place is bigger than the pictures so much space inside and outside. Very peaceful and loves the sound of the sea at night. Would stay there again.

Highly Recommended. We had a tremendous family holiday at Giggles, a wonderful location and tremendously well equipped with everything we needed. Lots of local amenities such as great supermarket, fantastic restaurants, beaches, shops etc, also well placed to get the local buses or taxes if you want to get out and about more. We had a car but still enjoyed getting on the local buses now and again. The property is really well managed, great communication with Sarah and Jeanine (in charge of housekeeping) was always available for everything we needed. We found the arrival instructions really helpful and the guest book is full of invaluable tips and recommendations to help us get as much out of our trip as possible. Big shout out to the cleaners who do a great job ensuring that the house was perfect upon our arrival with everything organized and easy to find. We also thoroughly enjoyed visits from the local wildlife, including green monkeys and a variety of birds. Thank you Sarah

Such a beautiful Villa in a great location. Fully equipped with everything you need. Loved everything about this place. It’s a 5 mins walk to the beach and the Fairmont beach passes a real bonus too! Helen was excellent with communication (not that we needed much of it) Five stars from us! Thank you and we will be back.

We had a wonderful eight day stay. The Villa was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. David was very friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and peaceful. The villa was even nicer than the pictures portrayed.

Great location and very well designed as well as organized. Loved the view as well as how close it is to the main restaurants and beach spots.

My family and I enjoyed this property when we weren’t out sightseeing. It had everything we needed and more. Also the host was very accommodating as our flight arrived earlier than check in time. We were able to check in earlier and refresh before heading out for the reminder of the day. The home had everything we needed to cook during the one day that we decided to. Bathrooms in each bedroom was another plus as we didn’t need to share and wait for a bathroom to become available. We walked to the beach a few times and felt safe in the neighborhood. The cooler and beach towels were truly appreciated. We loved the property and the host were very informative and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this property and we would go back on our next trip back to Barbados.
