The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Everything was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Our kids loved the ping-pong table and lower hangout area. This place was perfect for our family to spread out and relax.

We stayed at Ken’s place for our bachelor trip which was a great time! The home was in a great quiet neighbourhood and close to the freeway to get around. The house itself was very large with adequate space for all our needs. We especially loved the pool and the large living room which were great spots for hanging out after our hikes at Mount Rainier. The place could have been a bit cleaner and maybe a bit more put together but nonetheless the house served our purposes well and we would definitely recommend this place to others as well!

My buddies and I stayed here for a weekend for a bachelor trip. The house was very tucked away and you had all the privacy you needed. We had such a great time! The hot tub was definitely a highlight. The house was also spotless and seemed brand new. Ryan was super easy to communicate with and made things much simpler for us. I would suggest this place for anybody just trying to get away and have a great time with either friends or a significant other.

Jessica's place is perfect for a family get-together with generously sized bedrooms and comfy shared spaces. This was our second time staying there, and we hope to stay there again whenever there is a family occasion in Seattle. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool in the backyard, and we also loved being close to the lake. We especially appreciated being able to borrow the kayak and paddle boards.

My family of 9 had a wonderful time. We highly recommend staying at this air bnb. We hope to come back again. Everything was wonderful.

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)

The house looks just as pictured and is beautifully decorated! You can tell there was a lot of thought put into it such as child safe locks on the toilet and outlets, shoe horn, slippers by the door, and lint roller hung up by the door. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Best part was it was extremely convenient and close to the airport which made the commute to our early flight a breeze. Only thing that could have been better is if I could get responses via messaging, otherwise, they were responsive by telephone.

This place was super adorable love the old 1950 homes being renovated gives it charm. Place was great to stay, and not far from attractions you wish to do. Park nearby for kids and a lake. Annie made everything clear and easy on instructions for the house while we stayed, and if we had any concerns we reached out to her and she replied really quickly.

Michael was a great host. The house is quiet and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. We were in town for a wedding and being able to relax at Michael’s place was fantastic. It is close to stores and restaurants. There is a beautiful park and great trail within walking distance. Would stay here again.

The home is beautiful and the space is well priced given the luxury finishing in the inside of the home and the prices in the area. Pene was extremely responsive and always communicated very quickly with any questions I had. He even brought me extra towels when I needed them. He also listed some great local eats and experiences which was very kind. I think anyone who visits would feel at home and appreciate the hosts’ responsiveness. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and the extra office space was great for me to get some work done away from my family watching tv and chatting in the main home. Having the garage was super convenient too for the car. I would gladly stay here again if I need a place in Tacoma.

Do not hesitate in booking your stay!! This place is perfect for a couple or a family with kids! The place is beautifully decorated, super cozy, tons of little extras that you would never think of (snacks, drinks, coffee, bathroom amenities, etc). Super quiet too! There are super fun and friendly goats and chickens that you can pet, feed and play with. There is a really nice playset for the kids. I could just go on and on! The hosts are super responsive and there to make sure your stay is wonderful! This place is perfect!!! Book now...don't hesitate!!

The room was clean and had all ameneties. Peaceful and safe neighborhood as well. Host also left a few chocolates which made us feel even more welcomed. Overall, a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at Miles's place. It was everything we hoped it would be. Just like a home away from home. The house was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple who want to spend time in Tacoma. We picked this location because it was close to where our family lives, so we could visit them frequently, go for walks at Point Ruston and Point Defiance Park and visit Proctor and the other fun neighborhoods in the area. Excellent Supermarkets, too.

Great host and a very comfortable welcoming home

Beautiful place, my toddler loved all the ships in the port and all the planes that flew by. The house was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again if coming back to the area.

The place was cozy & well kept. Love that its close to grocery stores etc. House was equiped with everything we needed. We would definitely book this place again!

I have stayed here several times when visiting my children and grandchildren in the area. The home is clean, spacious and well appointed. The backyard is very nice and the neighborhood quiet ( other than a little traffic noise on occasion). Shopping is nearby should you need anything and you have easy access to I-5. My family has grown accustom to visiting me here and all say that it feels like a “home away from home”.

Diane’s house was great very clean the bed we had was so comfy and the backyard was beautiful, besides the bathroom toilet seat having a random stray hair on it everything was great clean and comfy worth the price for what we paid would book again. Also she provided towels and toothbrushes and razors which were pretty neat would recommend for everyone looking for a 3 bedroom spacious place to stay

Great property with views out of almost every window. The hosts were wonderful communicators and had excellent response times! The large home was wonderful for our family vacation with plenty of seating inside and out! We will return in the future!

We had a great stay! Very pet friendly. They even provided pet beds and pet treats!

Marjorie’s place was perfect for our needs & very accessible to I-5 & the surrounding area as well as our son & his family who live in Lacey. We had a minor issue with the back door smart lock, but Marjorie was very responsive to resolve the issue. Marjorie’s place was beautiful & very well maintained. Would definitely recommend this property. Just keep in mind that there are no grocery stores in DuPont, so you will need to get groceries in neighboring cities close by.

Lovely spot. Well appointed and host very responsive. Loved the little details, like the robes and higher end kitchen and house furnishing. Very well set up for a short or a long stay. The view is indeed beautiful on clear days. Looking forward to returning to this peaceful spot!
