Lake house holiday rentals in Parke County

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family with busy kiddos. There are a lot of stairs. It was fine for us, but might not have been for others.

Julia and William were very friendly and sent good instructions. Their home is in a beautiful and relaxing location and matched the description. I loved the basket of toiletries in the bathroom and coffee/tea in the room. All of the pets were darling and friendly. I would recommend staying here!

Couldn’t be more happy with our stay!! Absolutely the most beautiful cottage; with everything you need but for me, the most important thing of all when vacationing with my young children is how clean the airbnb is— this place was absolutely pristine!!!!! After a 13 hour drive, we felt like we walked into a slice of heaven. We CANNOT wait to come back!!!!! Because of this home, Lake holiday has the most special place in our heart!❤️

This home is a gem. Crystal was an excellent host! When I had a question, she was able to providea a quick response. Crystal provided a sparkling clean home stocked with everything anyone would need while relaxing by the lake. The beds are so comfortable. The Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. The neiborhood is quiet and the mature trees provide beautiful breezes while enjoying the beautiful, glamorous back porch. The newly added dock for relaxing and fishing was a great addition. One can even see wildlife and deer. This is my 3rd time here and I hope for many more. Thank you Crystal.

What a lovely place to stay. This is a wonderful place to come and enjoy the natural surroundings. The place has everything we needed. We enjoyed the porch swings and the lake right out back. The ramp made it much more accessible for my father, who uses a walker. Although we stayed for a night on a cross country trip, we would absolutely make this a destination in the future.

A wonderful graduation stay in a large home that fit the extended family of 11. A beautiful lake setting with awesome outdoor seating. The home was clean and had everything we needed, along with being spacious. Everyone loved the house and has left us with good memories.

Very clean! Nice decor….. beds were comfy. We cooked twice and had everything we needed. The privacy fence on the breezeway was appreciated as were the citronella candles. Nice, private area. 😊

We rented the cabin with the intention to have a family reunion. Everyone was impressed with the area and the cost to rent it. The pond was exceptionally beautiful. My grandchildren caught their first fish in the pond. I was surprised by how close interstate 70 was. ( I didn’t know it until after I left) It was so peaceful. There were lightening bugs everywhere!! We will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed Jacob’s place. Loved cooking on the open fire. Was very quiet and a wonderful place to celebrate our 42 wedding anniversary.

Julieta’s place was amazing and was exactly as advertised. She had thought of everything you could possibly need. Tools for the grill. The outside furniture was covered so that it was dry when we wanted to use it. It was the perfect arrangement for 5 adults and 2 young children. I had a personal request that was asking a favor from her that was above and beyond, and Julieta said yes without hesitation and with a generous and gracious heart. Her hospitality is a 12 out of 10!

I pulled in and immediately felt at home! My family and friends have already requested we go back so we can enjoy all the amenities this time. We were in town for my sister's wedding so unfortunately didn't get to use the firepit. The kids LOVED the chickens and playground and did not want to leave! The house was beautiful and clean and so spacious! Definitely will be coming back on our next trip to Indiana to visit with mu sister. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed and at home!

Our family of 10 had a lovely time at the Lake House. The spacious home has five king-size beds and four bathrooms, along with a bunk bed in the basement, which our kids used for a slumber party. The dining room offered a place for all of us to eat at the same table, and the shaded outdoor deck provided nice views of the lake and the wildlife (many deer). Our family took advantage of the kayaks and canoes available on the lake. The dock was too many steps for aged parents to descend, so we decided against the offer for the pontoon (which was an added cost). The location was close to stores and restaurants. The Royal Donut is a must.

The house is spacious, clean and very well stocked. I actually brought DW det, spices, trash bags and some cooking pans and I didn't need any of them . . . that was a first. We were there for 3 nights for my dad's 82 nd birthday. Our entire stay was during a heat wave with heat indexes in triple digits. Thank goodness the AC did not disappoint especially with vaulted ceilings. A few things that would have made our stay slightly better would have been having a full size coffee pot. Five of my six family members drink coffee and making one cup at a time was time consuming and a few got pretty cranky. I assumed since the house could sleep 6 people the Keurig would be the kind that had both options, pot/individual. A second TV would have been nice. The doorbell is broke and the digital lock, locks automatically when closed. If you are in the main part of the house it is hard to hear someone knocking. All minor things and nothing to take a star away. I would still re-rent 100%

I rented Catherine's place for an outing for my senior volleyball girls. It was perfect. Quiet without seclusion. Great outdoor spaces, which include a fire pit with ready-to-use firewood, a patio, and a screened-in patio for morning or evening meals. We enjoyed using all 3. The beds were incredibly comfortable, as the past 2 nights were the best sleep any of us has had for a long while! As we were active during the days we had rented Catherine's place with hiking, horseback riding, and tubing, having great water pressure for showers was a definite bonus! We definitely recommend staying with Catherine!

This was the perfect get away for my family! Was a beautiful property where we enjoyed walking the trails, playing games, and just enjoying each other while sitting on the porch! We definetly plan to come back!
