Holiday rentals with a patio in Paralia Kourna

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is sparkling clean and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how we could solve this. We had a wonderful stay, I would recommend it to everyone.

Delighted by this 8-day stay where despite my work obligations, I always had WiFi. This studio located on the lower ground floor is true to its description and offers excellent value for money, as there is a pool service in addition to others. Neighbors are discreet, respectful, friendly. Convenience stores are super touching with their kindness. Very good location between several major cities. I recommend this choice. I'll even be ready to come back. My downside was the contact person. Finished the stay on a negative note. It's about her, not the place. She was not present when I arrived although I arrived on time instead of immediately and reached her immediately. On the other hand, to collect the tourist tax money, the lady informs me 1 hour before departure (I admit this had unfortunately escaped me) and arrives unexpectedly 10 minutes after I reply that I was not informed. The host was a gentleman. Thanks.

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again! The apartment looks just like the photos and is really well maintained and immaculately clean. Plus they’ve also thought of everything, it’s really well equipped. The location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to all the old town restaurants and bars. Plus the rooftop is a real sun trap in the afternoon, we loved hanging out by the pool.

We had a short but wonderful stay at Dimitris and Danae’s villa, we were so surprised at how large and open the space is, it’s really a beautiful stay in the heart of the village on the mountains. We visited the Bistro owned by Dimitris next door, which do great coffees, smoothies and food- no wonder it seems so popular. Everything about this stay was perfect from the warm welcome we received to the privacy when relaxing by the pool, we would love to stay again in the future ☺️

Absolutely fabulous. Iwona’s apartment was better than we expected. The rooms were spotless, the a/c in the bedroom was cool, the shower was hot, the kitchen was well stocked and modern. The gardens were beautiful, the pool just right and the surrounding area is tranquil. The air in the mountains and the water from the taps is soft. The sun shone for our entire stay and the local cafe on the crossroads was perfect for a cold beer or a glass of something stronger... Friendly locals, hidden beaches and well stocked shops. Just watch out for the walk up Cardiac Hill.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

We loved our four days in this lovely apartment in Rodovani! Manos met us when we arrived, left us an array of fruit, coffee, tea, bread, and other treats — and was a terrific and cheerful communicator during our stay.

Pretty nice, modern and clean. You have to take some minutes to get to the center.

We have stayed at many Airbnb’s around the world and this was by far the best experience we have ever had! Kiriaki was there to meet us ( exactly on time ) and brought us to Catis Stone House a short walk away. She explained all the amenities and provided us with fresh fruit, a great bottle of wine and lots of bottled water. The cottage was spotless with quality furnishings , the space had been newly renovated but still had Venetian charm with ancient flagstones and stone walls. The courtyard was extremely private with no one overlooking you and was perfect for a private dinner or sunbathing. The location down a quiet historic pedestrian street was fantastic. You are in the centre of the village yet you felt as if you are in the countryside. The hosts Kiriaki and Michhalis are the best hosts and we count them as friends now !

What a wonderful place for a peaceful few days! The view is breathtaking and the area is just beautiful. The villa is extremely well appointed and has every amenity you could ask for, including a fantastic salt water pool. Hora Sfakion is a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away and has a choice of shops and tavernas all serving great food. My partner and I stayed with our young baby daughter and Alexandra and Lefteris couldn’t have been more helpful setting up a cot and high chair for our arrival.

A short walk from downtown Kalyves, but far removed from the hustle and bustle of the town of Kalyves. Several good places to eat, with some services such as medical and a pharmacy, a couple small markets with enough provisions. The location had absolutely amazing views of the bay of Souda, very private and quiet. The property is secured by an electric gate, to keep wandering tourists away, in that this accommodation appears historical in nature, maybe all that’s left of an old kastelli, based on the rock walls. I could be wrong, but I would guess that the actual accommodation is what used to be the powder magazine for the old fort. We enjoyed the place immensely.

This house is absolutely stunning! It is even more impressive in person than in the photos. The view took our breath away every morning ! The house is about 10 minutes from Kissamos which is the small town where we bought food to cook at home. I do advise renting a car to get to the surrounding towns and beaches. The host, Ria, was incredibly communicative prior to our arrival and just as accommodating once we got there. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until almost midnight. She was so kind to provide us with food and coffee for breakfast as well as some olive oil made from her family’s business. Ria was so welcoming and helpful! We felt very safe and at peace in the house (we visited with our 3 children who are 7, 10, and 11). This was by far our favorite vacation and we look forward to returning! We highly recommend! 🙌🏻

I truly recommend staying with Niko in this beautiful villa! The house is very modern, the outside area spectacular and private and the communication with Niko was clear and helpful. The accommodation works for both families and friends. The house is located around 30mins from Chania which is easy to get to by car. Can only recommend renting this villa.

Great host (super responsive and friendly). the place was immaculate with an incredible view of the mountains and sea nearby. a perfect location to see so much of crete.

Away from the tourist areas, in a small village in the middle of the island. A car is definitely necessary, to the beach in the south about 20 km, Chania about 1 hour's drive away. authentic and cozy little apartment, we felt very comfortable. We didn't need TV and if you know when checking in that turning the key to the right "lock" is the other way around, you can get in faster than we did. Kostas responds quickly to questions and we recommend the accommodation.

Beautiful, peaceful, so thoughtfully decorated. A great AirBnB stay. Walkable to many shops and restaurants but off the beaten path for privacy and quiet. Amazing view of the sea. Hosts went above and beyond to help me find the location and get me settled. Would recommend to anyone staying in this area!

A big thank you to Konstantinos and Stelina for providing a beautiful apartment for their guests. We were delighted with the layout of the rooms, very modern with floor-to-ceiling windows, a kitchen where nothing was missing (even a salad spinner and a measuring cup were there!) and with a comfortable bed. Towels are changed every 3rd day and linens are changed every 5th day, real luxury! It smells very pleasant, thanks to the well-selected fragrance sticks. For me, a good-smelling apartment is always very important and we appreciated it as well. The balcony is airy and after 10:00 in the shade, it is pleasant to endure and the beautiful view of Souda Bay is simply magnificent. Downtown is about 10 minutes by car, so you are quickly in the center, but also quickly outside in the evening. Ideal for people who want to enjoy city life but prefer to have it a little quieter. Thank you again for everything!!

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Fully stocked with everything required for our stay. Very helpful host who checked with us a number of times. Very easy check in and out. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Best airbnb we have ever stayed at because of Andonis's (and his mother, Maria, who lives in the same complex) hospitality. Andonis gave us great recommendations and even dropped off a bottle of delicious rose. Maria made our stay feel like a home. She brought us oranges from her garden for fresh juice, dolma made with zucchini flower, and spanakopita. The kitchen was also fully equipped so we were able to cook at home at least two meals a day. If we return to Crete, we can't wait to stay again.

Despina was a very helpful and communicative host who responded to all questions very quickly. The apartment is situated in the hills with a view of the sea. Rethymno is an easy 10 minute car journey away. It was very nice to sit outside in the evening, on the patio next to the swimming pool, and watch the sunset and the sea. The private swimming pool is small but fine for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. The kids liked it. The apartment is a good size and includes all the equipment you would find in your house (washing machine, oven, microwave, clothes iron...). This makes it very practical. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay and a convenient base from which to explore the area around Rethymno.

Beautiful stay! Such tasteful design, spotless home with really wonderful staff to help. The team was very responsive and had really set up the place to make it very warm. It had everything you may neeed and more! Super strong winter net too so we enjoyed working there. Loved it and would definitely suggest!

Stella was an outstanding host. Her accommodation is beautiful. Everything was perfectly prepared. A delicious cake was waiting for us on the table. There were also various foods from Stella's parents' garden in the fridge. Stella is very communicative and gives great tips about the area. Thank you for this wonderful time.

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!
