Holiday rentals with beach access in Pampilhosa da Serra

We had such a great time with our two children (6 years and 2 months old). The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed, including things for the children. It was nice and cool inside, even when the outside temperature was quite high at times (above 30 degrees Celsius). The mattresses were comfortable and the shower perfect. We also appreciated the little touches all around - toys for the pool, sunscreen or hand sanitiser in the common areas. Our 6 year old son was fascinated by the chickens and loved feeding them. The area itself is quiet which we loved. At the same time, Lidl was only 15 minutes away by car. We also enjoyed spending time at the two river beaches which are only a few minutes away by car. Ingeborg and Ruben were very helpful and available whenever we had a question. We also appreciated the lovely breakfast they provided us with on our first day before we were able to get groceries from a supermarket. All in all, we felt at home and very welcomed and we didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much for a lovely week!

Very nice place, taken care of and with a fairly large pool. Hosts are very thoughtful and friendly. The place is quite well located for those who come by car and plan to visit the river beaches in the area. There are no large supermarkets in the locality, so please note that shopping should ideally be done at once. For a 6-person space, the refrigerator is quite reduced. However, we had a great stay and recommend this accommodation for rural vacations.

Our stay at Joel was great, the view and place didn’t disappoint. It has an authentic Portuguese feel, we even met some lovely people in the village. Joel was accommodating and let us come with our pets and agreed to extend our stay when we requested. He was responsive and helpful, shared local tips and his apartment missed nothing. You need to be open minded for the parking as it’s a small village but we worked it out.

Four of us had a wonderful stay. What a plus to have 2 full bathrooms and a 1/2 bath. It was a little small but the insides where beautiful and rustic. We had everything we needed. We were there for the hiking in the national forest and it was an ideal location. I would stay there again.

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! This little house was perfect and very comfortable, we had everything we needed and the location was great for what we wanted to do. Jose is a very pro-active host and made check in and locating the house very easy. The local villagers were also very friendly which made us feel very welcome.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

Wonderful place to stay. In the village, residents and visitors live together in a special way. Elderly do laundry in the public laundry room and the goats pass in front of the door. The house is new and all good, on the church square. Beautiful mountain area.

We loved our stay at Casa do Mondego. Very spacious house, with excellent amenities and a breathtaking view! Everything is very clean! The house has a little corner for the children that is a spectacle. My boys loved it! I highlight the friendliness of D. Catarina, who was immediately available for whatever was needed!

The location is spectacular. Great for those who want to just relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry night sky. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thank you to Francisco who was always available for whatever it took.
