Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Palmer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The lake provided a lot of entertainment for us when we were just hanging out at the house. We used the 2 kayaks and canoe quite a bit to fish or just paddle around the lake. The swans were out a few times too. We also enjoyed making s’mores in the really nice fire pit (bring your own s’mores ingredients & firewood). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with lots of appliances provided. Beds were very comfy! 2 bedrooms had an amazing view of the lake (master and one queen), while the other 2 rooms had televisions. The master bathroom was very spacious and had dual shower heads. Make sure to follow the directions Daniel provides when checking in because Google Maps does not have an accurate location for the house, but we found out that Apple Maps worked great. Location was good, only 10 minutes from stores and restaurants, but felt very secluded and peaceful. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Alaska!

Wonderful cabin in Eagle River, perfect for a group getaway! The house is super cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Hot tub and pool table were a big hit for our group of 10. We especially loved turning off the lights at night and watching the moon through the huge panoramic windows — such a peaceful experience! We were hoping to catch the Northern Lights, but even without them, the view was magical. Linens and towels were spotless and smelled great. All amenities worked perfectly. The cabin has a beautiful rustic feel with high ceilings, wood interiors, and a warm dining space for meals and games. The small touches like the Christmas tree made it feel extra homey. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and be close to nature while still having all the comforts of home!

Shawn and Victoria are some of the most gracious hosts we have encountered yet and we stay in a lot of these short term rentals. The space looks brand new, is well kept and super clean. It is rare that the actual living space looked better than the photos. I was there to help take care of my 1 yo granddaughter while my DIL delivered grand baby #2. They asked if the noise from any of the construction work was too loud as they didn’t want to disturb her if she was napping. (Their property looks new and they are finishing the final touches it seems). The location is 10 minutes to Palmer or the main area of Wasilla, so easy access to anything you need. Highly recommend their space if you are looking for a modern but comfortable home near Wasilla.

This was a cozy comfortable place to stay. I stayed in all day one day as I was under the weather. It was comfortable and I had a great view so I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. Loved the extras like bottled water in the fridge and plenty of blankets. The view of the mountains is beautiful

We rented this place on our way back from Denali NP in the summers. The place was really easy to find, and the check-in was a breeze. We arrived late and needed somw creamer for our drinks, since there were no shops nearby. Kale was generous enough to let us get it from her personal stash. We had a good night's rest and would love to come again

We loved this place! Immaculately clean. Entry was easy. We spent the weekend in the surrounding area - Hatcher Pass, Fireside Books, Reindeer Farm. My kids loved the loft and the backyard swing. Very private but close to attractions. Kitchen had everything we needed: we cooked at home for all meals, including making cookies from scratch. LOVED the two full bathrooms and thoughtful touches like dental floss which I forgot to bring. Toys and games for kids provided. Thanks for the wonderful house, Whitney!

Beautiful home with lots of character! A luxury getaway in the heart of Alaska!

This is a great property, the views are stunning, large deck with hot tub, very spacious. We had a wedding in the family, and it fit the wedding crew and family. Lots of amenities in the kitchen and laundry. Great for a larger group.

It far exceeded our expectations! The home is BEAUTIFUL, and very large! Gorgeously decorated ! Two floors, tons of space for multiple people. Cute little extras like toys and things to do for kids , kcups and a keurig, little toothpastes in the bathrooms and the best smelling toiletries ! The location is perfect! Just a short 1 minute drive from Parks Hwy and all of the stores and restaurants. Yet peaceful and beautiful on a lake with playground and private dock. We saw beavers swimming in the lake , and moose walking in the driveway two nights in a row! It was amazing! We came for a kids sports tournament at the Menard Center and it took only about 8 minutes to drive there each day. Trenitie is super communicative, answering my questions when I reached out to her even late at night ! Super appreciated the promptness. I can’t say enough great things about this place! And hope to stay there yearly when we come for sporting events !

The unit was in the right location for our use. The neighborhood was quiet. I would recommend dish cloths besides the drying cloths. Thank you for the nice stay!

Rebecca was a wonderful host. Her home is located in the most beautiful location with mountains blanketing the horizon and a lake on the property. Rebecca is very friendly and responsive. We definitely plan to be back and for a slightly longer time next time.

Our stay was wonderful! This place has so much room. We had 2 grandchildren (age 5 & 10) with us and they loved it also. Only issue we had was a complaint from people whom lived below. We respected the quiet hours from 10-10 everyday. We did not know 1 of them worked 2nd shift, and got woke up by the kids couple mornings? They were playing tag out on deck one time. We told them we were sorry and would try to respect their wishes. From then on we worried about being quiet. This place is very close to grocery stores, gas, Walmart, Fred Meyer’s, and restaurants. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient. There is a park 2 lots down which we went to and kids played and fed ducks. There is also a Church (Creekside Church) about 5 miles away, very nice Church and made us feel welcomed. The kids loved the Children’s Church also. This place had everything we needed. The view was spectacular.

By far, the best rental I’ve had with AirBnb. The instructions for check-in were seamless, everything was set and ready to go, there were printed instructions on the counter with everything I needed to know, the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom were well furnished and clean. It was exactly the kind of space that I needed after a long trip. A very positive and welcoming environment to stay at. It was obvious that my hosts were very intentional and professional. I’ve already highly recommended it to family for anyone visiting the area.

Great place to stay for visiting south central Alaska! A great remote-feeling spot while also being within 15 minutes of town! Loved the scenery, the place was spotless, and everything worked well! There is no door separating the bedroom from the main room/futons if you have snorers in your group!

We enjoyed our stay here. The home is very comfortable, clean, and more spacious than we expected. It is stocked with a lot of extras including fresh farm eggs. Barbara was there to greet us and show us around. She is very friendly and responsive to messages. The property is beautiful and well maintained. If you need a place to stay in the Palmer area, I recommend Lazy Mountain Acres #2.
