We had a wonderful stay at this very cute, charming, and peaceful cabin nestled in the heart of Idyllwild. The location was perfect — just a short walk to town, yet it still felt tucked away and off the grid, offering plenty of peace and quiet. The cabin was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with all the comforts we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. We especially loved how close it was to some of the best hiking trails in the area, making it easy to explore the outdoors without much driving. Whether you're looking to unwind or adventure, this cabin strikes the perfect balance. We would absolutely book again!

A beautiful place ran by an amazing host. We looked for a place to unwind and the cabin was just perfect for that. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking too and the hot tub was 💯. Also, Micayla was very responsive, kind and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely come back & recommend this place to our friends!

Incredible landscape in all directions. Jack-rabbits and other critters abound. Outdoor tubs were a trip! Beautiful spot inside and out.

We had a wonderful time for a multi-generational family weekend away with the dogs as well! The space is charming and cozy. HELPFUL INFO: Dogs are welcome, but the host (reasonably) asks in the check in email that you not leave them alone in the house. This is understandable, but also helpful to know in advance so you can plan your activities in Idyllwild! Many restaurants In town welcome dogs, but the weather may not accommodate outdoor dining.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. In fact, staying here in this beautiful home and amazing location, it has influenced my boyfriend and I to start our journey with owning an Airbnb! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the squirrels to the hikes, the food!!! Love it, if you have the chance, go!! We can’t wait to visit again 🥹💕

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! If you want a cabin in the woods this is the spot. Neat, clean, and easy to access. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for some quiet wilderness. Just a few minutes from town too so easy to walk or drive down for shops and restaurants.

The Hive is a great spot! Brittany cares deeply about this place and maintains it exceptionally well. She was highly responsive, attentive, and made special efforts to be sure we had what we needed while respecting our privacy. Brittany includes a bunch of local shop and adventure recommendations in her listing, as well as a bit of history about how her family is connected to this house and the local community: something that was important to our family because we wanted to stay with a local, not some distant landlord. The house is modest and comfy and lovely. It is fully stocked with pretty much every amenity we could imagine including a bunch of toys and arts and crafts for kiddos which was great for our little Junior Ranger. Our group of 5 adults and 1 toddler were perfectly comfortable. And there are just lots of little details that make this place special. High quality spot. Highly recommend.

I have rented AirB&B's in numerous places and countries, and this was easily one of the best kept, most comfortable and pleasurable. Moses was a great host, responding within minutes when I had trouble connecting my cell phone. Every amenity was as advertised, clean and well-organized. The center of town is only minutes away by car, though we found the property so pleasant - a huge backyard, hammocks, etc. - that we rarely left. I recommend this place to anyone coming to Idylwild

The Dinah Shore home was beautiful and sunny, particularly on the very bright top floor. The property is very well maintained, and Kate was immediately responsive to any questions or concerns. It made for a lovely stay. The primary bedroom was particularly beautiful, private, and reflected the architecture of the period in which the house was constructed. The second bedroom is lovely and open plan, but it might benefit from coverings for the skylights as it gets warm during the day. There are both central air conditioning and modern supplemental heating and cooling units. It would be a great rental for two couples, two single friends traveling, or a couple with two or three kids. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and fully outfitted. There is great access to hiking trails. We feel we made an excellent choice for our stay. Thanks, Kate! It was wonderful.

Wow! Mecca Ridge a fantastic get away. The views from the property are stunning and the interior is outstanding yet so homely. We all felt so happy staying here for 5 days. We used it as our base to explore Joshua tree national park and other sights in the desert during the day then relaxing and BBQing in the evening at the property under the amazing stars! Highly recommend a stay here.

I did a five day creative retreat at the Lazy Gnome Cottage. The place was quiet, private and inspiring. Tim was very responsive and friendly.

We had an awesome weekend. The cabin was very clean and it was very peaceful. It was wonderful to find a place that had a fenced in yard for the pups to run around. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for sharing!

Travis and Kevin are amazing. We were long term AirBnB stayers here in Joshua Tree. We created some beautiful memories in this home and Travis/Kevin were always incredibly responsive whenever we needed them. This is a must stay if it’s available and you’re traveling to the area!

Lovely place to stay!! Clean and peaceful, beautiful kitchen with everything you need to cook. Hammock outside of the main bedroom is perfect for stargazing. Short drive into town for cute shops and groceries.

One of the most thoughtfully designed airbnbs I've ever stayed at. Lot's of wonderful books, records and trinkets that make you feel you're in an artists residence. The garden is magical, and the patio is wonderful to sit at. Just note that because some of the stuff is quite vintage, it's not like staying at a typical newly refurbished airbnb, e.g. bath is a bit wonky, bed a bit creaky and no dishwasher. But the overall aesthetic and beautiful place really makes up for it.

The Mustang was as described with all the amenities needed for our two night stay. The instructions Joy sent made it very easy to find the ranch and it was an excellent location for exploring Joshua Tree National Park.

Wow!! This cozy cabin is terrific! It positively sparkled when we walked in the door. Lovely decor! We used the pagoda for Happy Hour ( ; D) and morning coffee and used the front deck to have our meals so as to thoroughly enjoy the lovely pines, birds and mountain views. I even successfully relaxed in the hammock and was thrilled that I didn't just roll over and SPLAT right on the deck! Twas fun! Very close to Humber Park to hike Devil's Slide and Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail.

Check in was flawless. The house was extremely clean. Anything you needed was there. Betty was the very best. Made sure we had everything we needed and very responsive. So quiet at night, beds were comfortable so that made for some nice sleep. Thank you Betty.

Absolutely beautiful property. The moonlight at night illuminates the home in stunning fashion. We fell asleep each night with the screened windows open & drifted off to the tranquil sounds of the desert 🙏🏻 Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all and still feel right at home ! Jim & Frederick were gracious hosts and we look forward to visiting again soon !

This place was magical. Great if you want to feel like you got away, but close to all the conveniences. The property is private. Definitely don’t miss the sunrise!
