This spot is fantastic for getting away and reconnecting with nature. Secluded, beautiful views and excellent property with great amenities. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery for cooking at the property which is essential for this retreat. I highly recommend staying here and will be back again soon. Jessie is a fantastic host and went out of her way to ensure we had materials for the fire pit and were comfortable during our stay. Thanks again :)

We had a beautiful stay. The cottage is remote and incredibly private as we had the whole property to ourselves. Only wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Highly recommend the sauna addition although do note the additional cost. We’d love to return again

As always, the old shack delivered exactly what we needed. Peace, quiet, relaxing, absolutely beautiful surroundings. We cannot recommend this place enough...we've been 3 times now. Judith is lovely! Always helpful and a master at starting that wood fired spa up for us in advance. We will be back again next year!

My family and I had a wonderful long weekend in Rachel’s gorgeous cottage. Rachel was super friendly, communicated immediately and generously offered a late check out. Traveller’s Rest is the perfect space for two couples and the lovely, secure verandah ensured our pup was safe and happy too. The fire pit, inside fire and hot tub kept everybody toasty and entertained. An unexpected treat was the welcome bottle of delicious wine. Thanks Rachel. Amazing set up. We will be back. 😌

Barkala Cottage is an idyllic spot! The location, surroundings and house were all spectacular. It was the perfect spot to switch off from the world, breathe some fresh air, eat good food and just relax. I can’t wait for an opportunity to go back again in the not too distant future!

We had a beautiful weekend away at Cox’s cottage. It was so quiet and the views, especially at sunset, were unreal. It was a great escape from the city to unwind for a few days! The cottage itself is so charming and Jeremy and Annette were very responsive.

Once again we had a fabulous short stay at our favourite Newcastle Airbnb, Salty Dog Cottage, only 4 days this time but wish we had longer. Cute cottage, comfy beds, super clean and close to everything we needed for our stay. Next door to the fabulous Gunyah Hotel where we enjoyed a couple of yummy lunches. Although there was a bit of reveller noise late on the Saturday night, the pub was a definite plus. We will definitely be back. Thank you Joanne and Mike.

We had a wonderful time at Sally and Simon’s place. It was so lovely to have an enclosed yard for our active dog and to be able to let him run in their paddock off lead. The bed was comfy and they even had chromecast set up for movie night! We enjoyed using the fire pit and the freshly laid eggs from their chickens. Thanks for an awesome time! We’ll be back!

Macmasters cottage was a great location for our long weekend getaway. Situated amongst beautiful trees with a short walk to the beach, Bouddi National Park and a cafe. We were warm and comfortable and the house was very well equipped. Would recommend

Enjoyed the ambiance of the place. Unfortunately for us, our stay was as marred by very inclement and unpredictable weather conditions so we didn’t get to explore as much as we’d have liked. Debbie’s place was very pleasant, quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommend 😊

What a perfect cottage!! Excellent spot for a peaceful getaway. Private garden and within walking distance to a few of the national park walks. The space is cosy and has everything you need. The reading/seating nook by the window is a 10/10 where the sun comes in and you can look out into the garden. Amber was a great host, accommodating and responsive. Really beautiful property and location. We loved this little nook of the central coast! We loved listening to the nature sounds throughout the day. Really kind host and very responsive and the cottage was extremely clean with comfy beds! We had a great stay doing a little bit of exploring but mainly having nice quality time at home with family. Thanks for having us!

Nancy's cottage was an ideal space for us as a family of 4. A fantastic location between Coogee and Randwick yet peaceful, being away from the main road, 2-10 mins away from the various bus routes and light rail. Two good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage, and a decent sized dining kitchen featuring a sofa-bed. The ceiling fans and AC were also very welcome, the latter only required for short bursts. No bath but a spacious and powerful shower. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay at Eveline’s place. Fantastic location, so near to many beaches as well as cafes and restaurants. The cottage was clean and relaxing. Thanks so much

What a wonderful Airbnb experience this was, Paul’s place was sparkling clean, comfortable, well located, and communication was efficient with a late check out allowed. This was our second time in Avalon and we will definitely look to stay here in the future when visiting again.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! We stayed with our 2 kids. Loved the location within easy walking distance to Marrickville. We were able to get on the train easily at Sydenham and be into the city so quickly on the metro. Some great cafes and brewery’s within walking distance. A perfect location and house for us!

Had a great time at Lee's, lots of amenities especially for the price you pay, it was a very cute cottage. We were right next to some other cabins but it wasn't a problem for us at all ❤️
