House holiday rentals in Palacios

If you're looking for a luxury beach house, this is not the place to stay. But if you're looking for a clean, cozy, comfortable home where you can step out and jump into the pool or wet a hook in the creek, Wave On Wave is it!! My grandson had a blast catching fish and crabs off of the pier and we absolutely loved the pool (which is very clean and well taken care of). Jessica was a perfect host...very helpful and great communication. We had such a great time at Wave On Wave we didn't want to leave! Definitely booking this house again!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. When we had one minor hiccup, I contacted Marina, who quickly responded. We even got to meet the neighbors. We helped them carry their stove up the stairs. They were friendly people.

We had a wonderful time!! My family love the pool and we were able to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from high school. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We were in town for a quick stay for my husband’s job and felt right at home!

Lovely home. Very quiet. Safe. Clean. Peaceful. Family oriented. Pool was great. Randy was great and very accommodating. Thanks for providing the beach towels. Great beach. Neighbors who were visit were also very nice. It met our needs for the 5 days we visited. Wonderful view from 2nd floor. Suggestions- Need more restaurants in the area. Front door got frustrating at times. Stove- difficult to operate Umbrellas at the pool would be nice.

The Tiderunner Retreat is a beautiful, clean and well-stocked location that was perfect for our family reunion Mother's Day weekend. The pool & hot tub and cornhole game were a huge hit with the kids & parents alike. The many bedrooms, baths, and kid equipment made it just right for a family gathering. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful place to stay! Lots of room! It had everything we needed! We stay here at least once a year when visiting Palacios! Great place with everything we needed.

We were looking for peace and quiet to rest and recharge. Couldn't have found a better retreat. We went from the beach to the pool to sleep. Worked in a little pool on their pool table. All and all it was the perfect vacation for what we needed. The only intrusion was a duck that showed up the last night and I suppose swam around in the rain puddles and quacked for hours. I tried to run it off, but ended up just stuffing a pillow over my head. Kind of funny now.

We loved our stay at the beach house! It was a perfect location right across from the beach. Some of our party went fishing, while the rest of us stayed at the house and enjoyed the views. They had tons of beach stuff and fun games in the garage, so that was a bonus!

The house was very clean and the surroundings where beautiful! It was very peaceful and the house has everything you could need. We enjoyed the ping pong table. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely place to stay! Stocked kitchen with spices and utensils. Lots of towels and essentials provided. Lisa, the local host, was absolutely wonderful! The view from the sunroom is breathtaking and loved watching the dolphins. The house does sit at the curve in the road and you see all the headlights at night if you're sitting outside. Not much noise reduction between second floor and first floor.

Amazing place to take the family. Beautiful House that really makes you feel at home and on vacation at the same time. Great fishing as well! Caught keeper black drum minutes after starting. Host was really helpful and giving. We will definitely be staying again! :D

Great place to stay! Didn’t get to stay for our whole reservation bc we had a change in plans, but it’s a super nice place with lots of space.

This was our second time visiting. Great location, clean home, amenities were as described and more. Also, great local beaches for kids to swim and fish.

I enjoyed my stay! The decor was lovely and the home very clean. I've never slept on a purple mattress before, so this amenity was a nice surprise. The location of the home was close to my work assignment which made commuting easy.

The place was a perfect fit for our mini vacation . Barbara is super nice and responsive to text messages almost immediately . Beds are comfortable and the living room furniture is amazing , kitchen is full and has cookware .

Chance was a wonderful host. The balcony & outside space is perfect! There is a nice wind that was blowing the time that we were there making it nice not to have mosquitos. Just be prepared to have bug spray! The beds in the bedrooms are very comfortable and large! the bunk beds are useable.

The cleaning crew had not cleaned and prepped the house before our arrival, but it was taken care of with swift action and I was compensated adequately. I would recommend this as a good place to stay.

Great stay and well stocked! Didn’t have to go back and forth to the store for items. House had everything we needed and host thought of everything! Really enjoyed the house.

The stay at the Bay Bandit’s Hideaway was great! The host, Jonathan, was very responsive and accommodating. He took care of any questions promptly and everything in the rental was exactly like it was pictured. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock well into the evening and the lighted pier was a nice touch! The fishing was great in the Colorado River and we enjoyed watching all of the boats go by. I would definitely recommend this rental and hope to return soon!

My family of 7, including 5 boys loved the house and the location. We took our rods and fished the whole time. We didn’t have much luck but it was probably operator error. We did end up fishing the surf (10 min drive) and had some luck there. The house had plenty of room for our family and was very clean. Also my favorite part was the checking out. We didn’t have to check out until 12 and the instructions were short and quick. We didn’t have to jump through hoops or wake up early to check out. We would definitely stay again. Recommendations: take your mosquito repellent LOL we were hungry. Also stop at the HEB in Bay City on the way in, it’s about 30 minutes from the house. For small items there’s a Dollar General 3 mins from the house.
