Zanzilywood is good place for those looking peaceful surroundings in an isolated location. The grounds include a pool and store with all the items you need. The apartments are very spacious. If anything is missing, the hosts are quick correct the situation. Moreover, the host can arrange for your transportation both near and into Stonestown. I was satisfied with my stay.

"We had an amazing holiday stay at Elisa eco-friendly villa , i am impressed how beautiful and creative her garden is( everythings in the garden is eatable ) The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay were comfortable. The villa is beautifully designed and environmentally conscious, which made me feel good about my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique and sustainable experience." We also enjoy our kite surfing session with Emm, our professional instructor and very recommended coconut kitesurfing as they are friendly-professional kite surf school( thank to shasha and Eline for keep our session fun.

It’s a very nice apartment to stay.

Vuai’s place was very very nice, almost in front of the beach, in a safe, chill, and nice neighborhood, with a local minimarket nearby, and only 10 mins from Kuza Cave and 15 mins from Paje. The kitchen had everything one could need and the bathroom was very clean and nice.

Wanted a place to chill in Zanzy for 2 weeks. Kept searchingAirbnb for weeks. Millions of places out there but this unit kept coming up took it. No regrets at all. Yolanda’s place was fantastic. Looks exactly like the pictures, great location, super clean, safe, friendly staff, giant pool, amazing outdoor terrace for chilling. Yolanda was super responsive. Will 💯not hesitate to return

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Paje, Zanzibar! The house was perfect for our family, including our baby. It was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed to feel at home especially a baby cot. The location was convenient, close to the beach and great restaurants, and the host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend for families traveling with kids!

Wow! My wife and I had booked an Airbnb months ago and last minute the host canceled. We began to panic since our trip was only weeks away and we have 3 kids (5, 7, and 10). We contacted Jan who answered so many of our questions. Once we arrived the place was minutes walking to the beach! Also, the area was very safe and quiet. There were many children and locals who greeted us every morning. Our first night we stayed on the beach and a local dug us a bonfire in the sand and helped us home when we got lost. We shared the property with his family and another guest who were all lovely and played bachata at night! Every morning the house help Ms K made us fresh juice, cleaned our room, and made us breakfast. She was wonderful! The driver that Jan sent to pick us at the airport was amazing! And we paid him to take us to Memba island and a really nice sandbank with seafood lunch. The only con was the 3rd bed did not have a mosquito net. Which was okay because my kids just shared a bed.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the host for everything! Unfortunately, the trip was marred by a child's illness and had to be hospitalized in Nairobi. The host provided invaluable support, from finding medication to helping with the logistics of things. I wish them all the best! Just the human attitude and compassion cannot be appreciated in this review.....

My experience at Jade Belho’s apartment was beyond words. The property is stunning, tranquil, and wonderfully secluded. I love the fact that the internet has an external power so when there is power outage you still have wifi active. I had a fantastic stay and eagerly look forward to returning.

Seif was super helpful and very accessible. His whole team was available 24 hours and very helpful. The silly thing in the space was just the constant power outage. However, this affects all of Paje. Without the generator, we would be stuck. Due to the constant power outages, the air conditioning did not always work. However, the accommodation itself and the service are unbeatable. Amazing beachfront apartment with beautiful views, AC and wifi! Andre and Jordana’s home is right on the beach so we enjoyed sunrise walks and the sounds of the ocean waves at night. The apartment is really comfortable and has hot water for the shower! We felt at home and taken care of during the week that we spent here. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Thanks for the great time The two are great hosts and always have tips in stock. If you're looking for a small oasis, this is the place to be. Shops and restaurants are 5 min away. The beach is 10 minutes away but everything is easily accessible. I highly recommend Paje Heaven If I'm in Paje again, I'll come back to you. 🙂

First of all, the host Matilda is very kind. Responds quickly to questions and is friendly. It was very comfortable staying. Due to the nature of Zanzibar, electricity often goes out... This is a problem in the area, not the host's problem... Just take note. Everything else was perfect

very hard to find. the best is if you put feza school in to google maps. the apartment is around the corner. otherwise the apartment is very nice and clean. we also loved the pool. hope to come back one day

We stayed for 5 weeks (!) at Culture & Alessandra's place and we absolutely LOVED it. Although we booked another apartment, we were really happy with the one we got. The location is phenomenal, as it is literally less than 2 minutes walking to the beach. Yet it feels very private because the house is on a dead-end street. The apartment is simple, but fully equipped. We felt right at home. Alessandra is truly the very best and sweetest host you could wish for. She helped us a lot with renting a motorcycle, making restaurant reservations and even took us to the hospital when (unfortunately) needed. Their dog Bantu often walked with us to the beach or came to lay with us on the porch, so cozy! We did have some problems with the AC - we couldn't get the room cooler than 26 degrees and it often failed because of power cuts (a general electricity problem in Zanzibar). Funny enough, 5 weeks still felt too short, so we hope to come back and then we will definitely stay here again.

This place is comfortable, beautiful, well appointed, clean and staffed with great people.

Elegance and class

Our stay in Paje was unforgettable. Just a 7-minute walk from the beach, the home offered peace and convenience. Airport pick-up and drop-off were smooth, and every morning began with a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit, fish, milk, eggs, nuts, and sourdough. Judith, our host, was fantastic—communication was easy, and she kindly recommended a nearby hospital when our daughter fell ill. The Balinese-inspired interiors were calming and beautiful, adding a special touch to our stay. Our daughters adored the bathtub and wouldn’t stop talking about it on the way home! The bedding was pure luxury, with pillows so soft you could melt in them. My wife and I spent peaceful afternoons by the pool, truly relaxed. This place was a dream, and we’ll definitely be back!
