Welcome to Oravanpesä, a peaceful getaway in the rural landscapes of Artjärvi! The accommodation is split into two buildings: an air-conditioned log cabin for sleeping and relaxing, and a separate sauna house where you'll find the kitchen, shower, toilet, and a wood-fired sauna. Enjoy the tranquility of nature by Lake Säyhtee and admire the horses grazing in the yard. Our guests especially praise the cleanliness and idyllic atmosphere of the place. A lovely log house with a hay name is located in a peaceful countryside, but still close to the center of Kouvola. In a peaceful setting, you can relax or do some cycling and hikes, visit the nearby horse farm, or work remotely. There are trails or running trails a few miles away. In the summer, you can watch the alpaca activities in the yard or visit the adjacent alpaca farm. The house and private yard are fully accessible to guests.

Peace & Privacy – Tavastia Privacy

Far away from the evil and hectic world? Well, not exactly far away, but neatly hidden. Tavastia Privacy offers genuine peace and privacy on an old 2,5-hectare farm that has been renovated from the ground-up with respect for its location surrounded by the peace of nature deep in the woods. The facilities offer accommodations for groups from 5 to 20 persons, but for day-time events and parties even bigger groups can fit.

Farmhouse Inn

The park-like courtyard of the farm with its buildings on the edge of a spacious field landscape. You can also go jogging on the old village roads or pick berries and mushrooms in the nearby forests. It is also possible to book the entire space for private use and through our partner you can also book a sauna and/or a party. For private use, you can book a place for at least 12 people.

The log cabin is an easy place to stay in the countryside, on the edge of the organic farmyard. Self check-in is convenient and flexible with a key cabinet. The cottage has all the equipment for cooking and dining. Excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling. The Sun-Ilves hiking trail runs through the village to Evo. 9 km to Old Vääksy, canal & boutiques.

Small, extraordinary things that make life first class. Our family has had the pleasure to get to know this loving restored cottage, which dates back to the 1850’s. Its aged timbers whisper tales from times past, and the surrounding nature nods approvingly in response. We welcome you to come and listen.
