A peaceful accommodation in a beautiful rural setting The accommodation space fully corresponded to the description given, and the environment was very peaceful. The sauna and the tub were in excellent condition, and there was plenty of firewood available. After the sauna, an efficient air heat pump provided cooling indoors, which increased living comfort. The loft window could be opened, but the curtain rod needed to be reinforced, as it did not stay in place properly. In addition, we found that the hob is sensitive to touch - the controls can be accidentally hit when moving around the kitchen, so it is worth taking into account. If you have pets, especially cats, we recommend that you prepare for possible hiding places, such as under the stairs, at the base of the chimney or under the sauna benches. It is a good idea to keep the sauna door closed so that pets cannot find hiding places in difficult places.

Cool accommodation, large, nicely located, very pleasantly furnished with great opportunities to do things! We had a great time, bathed in the lake and also enjoyed the sauna and the hotpot very much! We recommend the wholeheartedly and would be happy to come back!

Great accommodation for a large group. Within walking distance of Pihlajakoski's services, but still in your own peace. You could swim in the atmospheric rapids. We were positively surprised, especially in terms of location.

We had a nice summer weekend with 8 adults. Vierumäki is a great destination, because there are so many activities as you are interested in. The cottage is 1.5 km from the ice rink, tennis courts right next door. Cooking for a large group is possible, but the kitchen is small and the refrigerator space is limited, all other spaces really work.

Lovely place, very traditional and cozy cottage. Amazing long beach perfect for kids. Tidy spaces and rooms. The kids thought the trampoline was the best, the adults loved playing board games in the evenings. Peaceful, neighbors behind trees and didn't hear noises at all. Hiiden Mountain within walking distance, took a tour there in the morning. Hosts responded quickly to messages and was really nice! big recommendation. 🥰

This place was beautiful, serene. It had a big house at the top, than a lunch place with a bbq, than a small house with a sauna, than another small open house with a fireplace and a small dock at the end. There was also a little beach a little way around the road. We stayed with two family's, four adults and four children between 1 and 6 years old. For all of us it was a great place. All in all we had a wonderful time at Pertunmaa, we were however a little surprised at arrival that the house is part of a holiday home park. We didn't really mind, but we would have like to read that more clearly in the description. We didn't really hear or see other occupants. In the description it says five bedrooms, but what isn't clearly specified is that those are divided over two houses. It was fine now, but again: would've been better if it was included in the description.

We spent great autumn holidays with the kids in the cottage. It is very nicely situated at the lake in a quiet area. We enjoyed saunas ( one at the lake and another next to the house) and the hot tub, the rowing boat and the trampoline. The house and the yard are very clean, nicely equipped and stylish decorated. We enjoyed grilling in the yard and picking berries and mushrooms in the nearby wood. 🙂🍂☀️

A fabulous place o ‘get away’ and yet within easy striking distance from Lahti.

An amazing place to stay, very well equipped - sauna, grill, terraces, everything you might need. Would definitely recommend, would have loved to stay longer!

This is a hidden gem. We loved our stay at Eleonores datcha. The house has a lot of cozy character, such a great design and lovely details. This is not a standard holiday cottage, you can feel that somebody really used to live in there - probably one of the reasons why it is really good equipped. You will find everything you need in the kitchen (and even more). The beds are very comfy. Shower is also really good. The wood fired sauna was a great experience. Eleonore was not around but always available by phone to answer all questions. We would definitely stay again!

Paradisiacal view from the chalet. Very nice sauna and easy access to the lake. Well-equipped chalet. Very easy communication with Minna. We had a great stay , alone in the world in this little paradise.

Everything went smoothly. Messages were answered quickly and communication was friendly. The place was clean and everything you needed was found, the location was pleasantly quiet (although there was no one in the semi-detached house next door😉). From the holiday home, you can comfortably access nature trails. Also, a river shore is a short walk away. A peaceful and pleasant environment, I recommend it.
